I am working in Hyderabad as a Sub Editor in a press. I recently took a long leave of 100 days from it to attend the editing of my personal works to be brought out soon by me. I rejoined our press on the 2nd of November 2005. I saw a beautiful girl in our floor and knew that she is also a Sub Editor (she joined after I left the office on my leave). I mostly behave in a realistic manner. I am looking for a beautiful girl to marry. I wrote a two-page letter to her expressing my interest in her and posted it to our organization. The envelope contained the letter and my two color photos. I posted it on 8th November 2005 and she received it on 10th November 2005 by 3:00 pm in the evening. She read that letter and handed it over to our Operations Manager. Since he was leaving for Tirupati that evening, he could not call me into his room that evening. That happened on the 13th of November 2005 by 3:00 pm. He severely rebuked me condemning my action. He read that letter and saw my photos in it. I felt hurt to listen to his words and to know that he read my letter. It is a private affair as long as it remains between me and her and it becomes public when it reaches the hands of the third person/s. He told that I am an abnormal fellow. He warned me not to repeat it again. He added that he considers this organization as his family and that he does not tolerate if I do such mean things in this environment. He kept my letter and photos with him. My Team Leader also seriously reprimanded me on this point. One of my close colleagues also told that I did a mean act writing a letter to that girl.
She is from the biggest city of East India. She is a postgraduate. She looks modern in appearance. She put a smiling face at me while I came across her once or twice. I wondered at her reaction to my letter. Since a person always tries to defend oneself when something unexpected happens, you can’t believe in my defensive or objective arguments in this matter. I simply thought that she is immature. I am pasting the original copy of the letter I wrote to her. Please read it and try to console me if possible. Don’t present your arguments to prove that I did wrong. Just write if what she did is right or what she should have done if she is a bit sensible and sensitive girl.
