LOVE PAKISTAN

This evening my university friend Vijaya Krishna from Vijayawada asked me to come to some chat room to chat with some Pakistani citizens (the word he used addressing them is goons) in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the cricket team of Sri Lanka in Pakistan yesterday. I did not like chatting with them nor considering them goons. The fundamental responsibility of every good citizen of a nation is to respect the citizens of another nation. The fundamentalists in Pakistan did bring a bad image for Pakistan across the world but it does not mean that all in Pakistan are terrorists. There are many terrorists in our nation also both in the forests and civil societies. Political leaders are the public terrorists for that matter. Does it mean that India is a terrorist nation? We need to grow as human beings first. We need to think a lot before tagging a group of people to a distinct category. I personally dislike anybody calling Pakistan a terrorist nation. In fact Pakistan is a victim of terrorism. Millions of people in Pakistan are suffering from poverty just like it is happening in India today. Even Pakistani government has no control on the terrorist outfits operating from its soil. It is easy to deal with animals but not beasts. Terrorists are beasts and they create unrest in quite uncivilized and barbaric style. I am an expert in chatting. I never found one compatible to chat with me in chat rooms. I can chat with anybody for any number of hours. I did not like to use these skills to chat with a set of Pakistani citizens who might try to defend their standpoints as the respectable people of Pakistan. It must be their role to safeguard their interests and argue on behalf of their nation. I have no good reason to argue with them like a beast. The issues at hand are not smaller. In this respect, I have some observations from the recent past:

1. We must not hate a nation because there are some bad people in it. Every nation has a different set of bad people. Our role must be to understand the issue from its roots and resolve it peacefully applying vision and idealism. History showed that anger, retaliation and short temper might achieve results fast but the eventualities would be terrible. Two world wars are the best examples.

2. Every Indian must understand that cricket is one of the biggest diseases of India today like corruption. Everybody is interested in this nasty game which does not contribute to the development of this nation at all. If we need physical exercise, we can do it at home or avenues nearby. We need not play cricket and make it a national cause of pride and glory. We must stop giving cricket players the image of gods and celebrities. They are the most unwanted people in this nation because they are wasting valuable time of every citizen of this nation that considers cricket a great game. When millions of Indians are suffering with various problems, when our idealists, scientists and thinkers are struggling to face these problems sacrificing their comforts to a great extent, it is inhuman on our part to waste much of our time thinking about, watching and playing cricket whenever we get time or making time only for it.

3. India is losing its vital values of tradition and culture day by day. When we lose uniqueness in the positive sense, we lose our identity as an admirable nation or individual. Try to get honest and reliable answer to the simple question, "How is a typical Indian positively different from the typical citizen of any other country today?".

4. God subjects us to a set of problems now and then not because He is angry with us but that He wants to reform us at the right moment. Economic recession currently plaguing the stability and safety of nations across the world is just one example. Earlier we lived in dreams when everything was going on well. Now we got time to learn lessons from the bitter experiences and prepare for the future, whatever it may be. An ordinary man does not become a capable soldier to safeguard a nation unless he is trained well by his superiors. God is doing the same toward us today. He is teaching us lessons silently. Be prepared to take life as it comes instead of waiting to enjoy it the way you dreamt of it. Life is a struggle basically. It may look heavenly some time but it is transitory.

5. Man and woman are interdependent, always. It is true that women have been subjected to injustice and unrest for ages due to many acts perpetrated by selfish and cruel man. If man wants to live happily, he must love and serve woman. Men can be admired by women only through their services of honesty, idealism and broad outlook. The progress of a man depends on how much he understood a good woman to respect her and how far he is sensitive and sensible enough to pity a bad/helpless woman and reform her. Love and service must be our paths of reformation toward women. We must listen to women and allow them to live freely. God created this world for every creature we are seeing today. Women are also a part of those creatures like we men. We can't be considered great Indians as long as there are prostitution, rapes, attacks and abuse against women. Great India means a place where everybody lives happily without disturbing the peace and comfort levels of others. Mutual understanding and cooperation must be our guiding principles in this direction. We must live happily and die peacefully.

6. Today there is a great need of social reformers in this nation. Many failed to understand what India needs today to become super power soon. Achieving great things suppressing the innocent and the helpless or cheating many can't be a good deal. Today we are achieving success and happiness cheating others. Answer everybody of you to a simple question honestly, "How am I earning money and how am I planning to reach my goals?". Most of our plans revolve around one thing "selfishness". It means running fast in the race when everybody else is still getting ready to start. It is not real success. Such success does not yield long-lasting happiness. Success achieved after real struggle is sweet. It instills creativity, innovation and challenge in us. Social reformers are the right people to teach us how to do in politics, business and life. Idiots and loafers and liars and criminals are our political leaders today. Quite strategic and manipulative thieves are our business leaders today. Those that know how to cheat others are the successful people in thier lives today. All these sections of people are becoming great through wrong ways. Others are admiring them because they are helpless sheep. Answer to a simple question to yourself, "How many celebrities we are seeing today alive reached those positions fairly and are remaining in those positions fairly without cheating or exploiting others directly or indirectly and how much is their realistic contribution to the development or peace in this nation or world?". You would get surprising answers to this question. It leads you to one simple conclusion, "We are living among cheats being trained indirectly on how to cheat others and live happily not bothering about anybody that does not know how to cheat us like we are doing". Underdogs are those that don't know how to cheat others. The slum children showcased recently in the highly focused "Slumdog Millionaire" represent the double standards in Indian politics today and the Indian way of life. Everybody is interested in A R Rehman and other celebrities that were felicitated with Oscar awards but not in millions of poor children and other helpless people living desperately in inhuman conditions across the nation. We are celebrating 10% moonlight before us forgetting or neglecting 90% darkness behind us. The result is birth of naxalism and similar anti-social elements across the nation. We must remember the fact that a million hungry and impoverished people do not allow a hundred millionaires to live happily around them for long. Poverty and alienation do not bring peace and prosperity to us. We must develop this nation as idealists and thinkers but not as businessmen and politicians. It happens when the good people are empowered to rule us through the weapon of democracy. It would be possible when all of us intelligent and awaken citizens of India keep democracy meaningful through our voting and constant constructive public opinion. For that to happen, our children and we must stop thinking about cricket and related unwanted celebreties of this nation. Then, we would have enough time to think about the real problems in this nation and how to eradicate them slowly. The fact is a number of burning problems never allow a few people also to live happily. It is up to us how to build and lead our lives.

7. Questioning attitude is vital to Indians today. The attitude "Let it be" leads us to unrest and pain one day or the other. Often we must ask a simple question before doing something, "Am I doing the right thing as a good citizen of this nation to contribute to its peace or development in any way?". Most of us are enjoying the fruits of the achievements of our forefathers today. Check the number of inventions and discoveries that took place in our nation or other parts of the world in the recent past which largely contributed to the happiness or comfort levels of millions of people. Today we are all self-centered compared to our old generations. We are more interested in applying for patents and benefitting largely out of such commercial avenues at big level. How many of our politicians or businessmen are interested in the problems of ordinary people of this nation or world today? You can count them in minutes. Rest of the celebrities are living for themselves. They don't mind even if the entire India is set on fire. Their only concern would be, "Where shall we go now to live happily leaving this bloody and useless nation forever?". 80% of the NRIs hold this opinion today though they never speak it up on public platforms. Indians are experts in hiding the bitter truths and telling sweet lies to attract others. How long can we be such fake and deceptive Indians?

8. Everybody must understand that we may live up to 100 years by God's grace. We don't need billions of rupees or unlimited assets to live happily for these few years. What are our billionaires doing then? They are keeping their money with Swiss Bank and other international organizations. Billions of rupees are lying useless at these institutions. Many of these billionaires and millionaires die even without telling anybody where they hid money. Why this greed to these idiots and criminals in this nation? Most of these rogues and dogs and bitches are in politics. They are exploiting this nation like merciless dacoits and public thieves. What are we reading daily in newspapers? Cases of corruption and exploitation everywhere. No progress at courts to settle those disputes. The Satyam case is just one example still hot in the newspapers. How many of such cases were resolved quickly in our nation so far? They take decades to settle matters legally following the outdated policies and procedures. Whose money are these celebrities misusing or disusing? Our money, the fruits of development of this nation achieved through the struggle and strain of a select few whom we forget happily. The result is hunger, thirst, nakedness, unrest and decay of lives and places in many parts of the nation. When we forget to identify the good and use them for our overall development and peace, when we tend to admire and encourage thieves and dacoits to exploit us sweetly and silently, we fail to see a happy India in the real sense. We are living in such a helpless state of affairs today.

We can change this set of bad things in India.
We need to think and act like thinkers and idealists to achieve a better state of affairs. Each one of us need to play a constructive role to build a better India soon.
It would be possible when you think seriously about this nation and its development, not cricket. If you waste your time on cricket, enjoying your life happily, forgetting the woes of millions of people in this nation, it might be your house to be looted tomorrow or it could be your relative to be raped or killed today.

India is in our hands.

We need to build it strong.

Foreigners don't help us much in this direction.

They have their own businesses and concerns in their places.

NUDITY

Chiru: Don’t you feel ashamed of it?

Jomisa: I often think, “When I had no objection up to eight years or so, why now to show off my body cover”. Others enjoy seeing it. I must entertain them showing it. We need not feel ashamed of anything as long as we are dealing with our personal belongings decently.

Chiru: Does it inspire artists to paint your naked beauty on their canvas?

Jomisa: They have license to see us naked. What they are feeling while painting us must not be a matter of concern for us but whether we are surviving or not with that little money and fame we get in the process. I don’t know if my beauty inspires them or not. My bodily beauty dies soon but the painting lasts longer than my life. We would be happy at that realization. Art is greater than life.

Chiru: Does color of body make a difference in one’s life?

Jomisa: Certainly. Fairness attracts more than black.

Chiru: What is difference between a sex worker and you?

Jomisa: She allows her body to be exploited by an unfamiliar fellow for a specified period of time at a set price. We don’t extend our services to that extent. They are better social workers than us, I presume.

Chiru: How do you justify calling sex workers social workers?

Jomisa: 80% of the boys and men can’t get a moral and legal opportunity to have sex with their favorite females for various reasons in their cursed lives. Eventually they resort to other ways to satiate their basic instincts in this aspect. The result is prostitution supported by helpless women and men from one perspective. Sex workers are thus avoiding occurrence of more number of crimes against innocent girls and women in our societies. Unfortunately, in countries like India, prostitution is considered immoral and illegal. I believe India is not a safe country for people with values and standards. Only hypocrites can live happily here. Half of the immoral dogs and bitches that belong to this filthy lot are in politics, cinema industry and business. An innocent and helpless woman is the worst victim in this nation when eyed by rogues. I hate India for this reason only. I have no choice to move out. I don’t think a woman of my worth gets a better treatment in other nations. Woman is rarely understood properly by a living man. Check history. Visualise future. Picture is clear.

Chiru: Can pornography make one immoral or sadistic or anti-social?

Jomisa: Nothing can make a man or woman a brute as long as one can exert self-control upon oneself. Our life is a result of our thoughts and acts toward others. We need to be sensitive and sensible in whatever we do. Some like being naked. Many love watching others naked. Both depend on one’s helplessness, choice or basic instincts. It is good enough if none is forced into any profession. Everybody must be able to enjoy freedom in the right way where nobody gets hurt by our acts while exercising our freedom in many fronts.

Chiru: A traditional Indian woman is not supposed to show her body to anybody except to her mother, close female relatives and husband and so on…

Jomisa: A plant grows into a tree when there is a devoted gardener to attend it throughout. When it is left forsaken and lonely at some stage of its evolution into a complete being, heat and rain may wash off its natural beauty and make it awkward. Every sensible and sensitive girl is like a beautiful plant. How she lives depends on how different men and women treat her in course of her life. Many Indian women are able to live the way you described. I must say they are lucky. It is a good life to be desired by every woman to live. If some could not get it, it is their bad luck. You might wonder at the tendencies and lifestyles of naturists in parts of the western world. They think that one must live freely in every possible way. They choose to spend without clothes in their chosen areas. It must be a free show of many at one place. I advise you to visit one of such places and satiate your thirst of ages!

Chiru: Thanks for the comedy. Can I hug you?

Jomisa: There are trees, birds, animals, rocks, rivers, canals and so on to hug to reach your greetings to the almighty that created all these varieties of beauty around us. Why should you try to hug me only? Many saw me already. There is nothing special in me in comparison to those that hide their personal belongings for a particular person only in their lives. Avoid bad things always. Don’t damage your sensitivity and admiration for female beauty touching me like a pimp and beast.

Chiru: I too wish to join a naturist club soon. Aid and advise me!

Jomisa: They don’t let you watch them if you remain clothed. They know the gimmicks and tactics of guys like you. You had better visit some places in Goa. There it is all a free show of much beauty. Join a naturist club only when you lose taste for your bodily beauty. It is all a world of idealism and absolute enjoyment of liberty accorded to man by God. You must be a good child to join such abodes. Do it when you turn old. Then you may lose attraction for whatever your earthly body possesses. Old age is really cursed stage of human life no! You must experiment with your body and mind at that final stage of life because then your only responsibility would be to leave for the other world.

Chiru: How do you relate to me?

Jomisa: You have created me. You can kill me after your purpose is served. I resurrect when you want me back. I am your servant. My birth and death are in your hands. I love you. You give life to many creatures like me. Good job no!

ARUNDHATHI

Presentation

It is one of the few Telugu films that made me blissful throughout, while watching. Its story is binding, truly. Its narration is fantastic. Its music is divine. Its songs are inspiring. Its dialogues are delightfully comprehensible. Its main lead is gorgeous and challenging, in appearance and performance. Its visual effects are marvelous. Its success rate at theaters is historical. It is one of the great wonders I ever witnessed with my eyes and ears. It is a wholesome entertainment to my heart. It thrilled my soul. It is basically a story of two human souls and their mutual struggle to retaliate against each other for the convincible reasons.

Disorderly Sketch of Story

Arundhathi’s marriage is due to take place in a short time. Their elders are making arrangements. It is a blissful occasion in their family. Slowly Arundhathi comes to know that something wrong is going on somewhere. One of her relatives disappears. Another relative becomes mad. The center of the tragedy is located at an imaginary abode in a familiar palace (Gadwal, a small town in Andhra Pradesh) to her, a region associated with a royal family decades ago during the British rule in India. Arundhathi learns the tragic history of Jejamma, her great grandmother 80 years ago. Jejamma died on her own to retaliate against her maternal uncle, who spoilt the life of her sister and many other women in that town, whom she buried alive for some reasons. He turns out a horrific ghost and waits to exploit Jejamma, whenever she takes another birth with that soul. Arundhathi is the reincarnation of Jejamma in the same royal family now. One of the Agoras, those that live depending on human dead bodies and such other activities centered on black magic, when considered from the scientific perspective, prepared a weapon with the bone of Jejamma, after her death and cremation, years ago. Only the soul of Jejamma can kill the horrific ghost of her maternal uncle, which is existent in the form of a soul with terrific powers of black magic, even to this date. Arundhathi slowly realizes that she was Jejamma years ago in that royal family. With the help of an Islamic black magician, she understands the power of the ghost that came out and eventually kills it in the final battle. The dilapidated royal palace collapses with the death of the ghost of her maternal uncle, who waited for 80 years to retaliate against Arundhathi, a beauty, once whom he liked and wanted to exploit. Many mysterious and terrific events take place in the process of Arundhathi realizing her past and retaliating against her maternal uncle. She gets ready to marry her scheduled fiancé in this birth after defeating the ghost of her maternal uncle. This is the story of the film in brevity. You would have more clarity when you see it in theater.

Crew of Excellence

Producer-Shyam Prasad Reddy

He is the son of Mallemala (M S Reddy), a noted film producer and lyricist of the recent past. He is known for producing satisfactory films going for any number of days of shooting and investment in the process. He wants quality in the film. Earlier he spent four years to finalize the famous Telugu film “Anji” of Chiranjeevi. If this film turned this much successful, God must be thanked. Syam Prasad Reddy deserves such right kind of profits for the commitment and involvement he invested for the films he produced so far. If a producer of taste has more money, more classics emerge in film industry. I am happy that viewers gave a little of their money to this great producer in the Telugu film industry. This time he spent two years’ time to finalize this film. May God bless him for his patience and taste to produce a good film always, not minding whether it turns successful or not at box office. How many can think and invest money in films like him today?

Director- Kodi Rama Krishna

He has been a noted Telugu film director for years. He challenged the Telugu audience again with this miraculous piece of Telugu film industry. If one has to understand the worth of this gentleman, one must see films he directed so far. To understand an artist, one must personally taste related art pieces. No much use in appreciating or criticizing one without checking one’s tangible proofs.

Visual Effects and Creative Director- Rahul Nambiar

If this film turned a big hit at theaters, part of the credit goes to this young man from Kerala. I don’t know much about his past track record as a wonder in visual effects but heard that he is a gem in his field. If you want to appreciate this gentleman, you must see this film first. Graphical effects arrest your attention throughout the film. Nambiar turned a hero in the circle of film technicians with the huge success of this film and his great contribution for it. I must say he is one of the gems just launching himself into the dreamy island of Indian cinema.

Music-Koti

Koti is a prominent music director in the Telugu film industry. Earlier he worked as part of duo Raj-Koti. Now he is doing films alone. I give 90 marks for music in this film. It makes you mad in the positive sense. It grips your heart and soul as long as you are seeing the film in theater. We can’t imagine this classic piece without its music. It is the soul of this film. Koti rocked the Telugu audience with his sensational music in this film at a time when many are starting forgetting his name in comparison to other leading young musicians like Devisri Prasad.

Story

This story was prepared and polished by Mallemala Unit, an outfit partly or fully associated with the family or friends or well-wishers of the producer Syam Prasad Reddy.

Anushka Shetty

She is the one and only rocking beauty on silver screen in the Telugu film industry today. Her beauty mesmerizes any sensible living male creature in seconds. What happens if such a challenging beauty performs commendably for a masterpiece? The result is madness. Yes. One goes mad with love and appreciation for this exceptional beauty after watching her bewitching beauty and extraordinary performance in this film. I am giving 98 marks for her beauty and performance in this film. Half of the vitality of this film is undoubtedly this charming and challenging damsel only. She made me sit like a four-year old innocent kid in the theater anxiously waiting to see what happens to her next in the film. She captured my attention and admiration for her throughout the film. See the film to estimate the luck she got to act in such a masterpiece of films.

Other Characters

Though everybody acted considerably well in this film, you don’t remember them much after coming out from the theater. The story, the screenplay (narration of the story in a sequential order as desired by the director and the creative team of the film), the music, the songs, the heroine and the villain are the soul of this film. Rest is complementary meant to run the film ahead.

Special Note

People that never like to see a movie in theater, for various reasons, which looks acceptable from their standpoints, started coming to theaters after the success talk of this film. It created waves in the Telugu film industry. I witnessed the power of those winds and waves like others. It is really a classic piece in the recent times. Then, as to the rationality or scientifically acceptable qualities of this film, I am least bothered. If science can answer 50 percent of our rational and right questions; spiritualism, black magic, the concept of life after death, karma, soul and such other related things revolving around the theme of “mysterious human imaginations” can answer 200 percent of our questions arising from other quarters, which science can’t address even a bit. So, I never expect a film or any other art piece to be scientifically acceptable to educate or entertain people. Why should we go to see a film or read a book if our only goal in life is to reach God and attain salvation? Reading only Bhagavad Gita is enough for that for us Hindus and other scriptures for other people of faiths. We do other things also a little to taste different facets of entertainment, which God made possible through the thoughts and imaginations of man, His beloved son.

Conclusion

I often feel like collecting a few pieces of music and keep them with me to get inspired listening to them when I am writing a masterpiece in some genre of literature. I have a rough estimate of about 2000 songs in different Telugu films that elevate me to my desired state of mood and expression while I am listening to them. This film also got such songs and music in it. I would add these songs also in my collection in future whenever I think myself “Fellow! You are attempting to create a masterpiece. Keep that music on and shut the doors and windows all around”. My hearty congratulations to Koti for producing such gripping music for this film. I often think, can writers or other kinds of artists ever excel in their chosen fields if they are not blest by one component “extraordinary music as they feel and want it as per their needs and tastes at different times of their outpouring or creative excellence?” I am one of the deepest lovers of great music, whoever creates it and wherever it originates.

If you did not see this film in a classic theater, even for once, you are 100% unfortunate. If you saw this film only once in a great theater, you are 20% lucky. If you saw this film 10 times in a theater, you are 50% lucky.

If you reached your heartfelt greetings to the technical and creative team of this wonderful film, in some way you are familiar with or can afford, you are 100% lucky because artists and technicians need great amount of encouragement and inspiration from their stakeholders, you and I, that see films to entertain or educate ourselves to some extent. My way of reaching my compliments to this great team is writing and posting this blog here just after an hour after seeing the film because this film commanded me to write a little about it immediately. My conscience ordered me, “Idiot! Do it now! I hate procrastination. That film maddened you with its classic appeal. Don’t you do your part to reach your message of happiness to all?”

I saw this Telugu film from 2:15 PM to 4:30 PM in theater Sudarshan 35 MM at RTC Cross Roads in Hyderabad, buying the 50-rupee ticket like a king without standing in the queue. I felt after buying the ticket, “I achieved it”. After seeing the film, I felt “I could get an entertainment worth 1000 rupees, spending 50 rupees only. It seems it is a little bearable living in India if there are such films in India”.

I request my blog readers on this occasion, “Please do not see films buying piracy pieces or downloading them immorally from your computer systems, when sent by your indecent and unethical friends in ways you know well”. Artists and technicians also live spending money. They want money to live and produce great pieces of art for us in future also. The only way for us to encourage them directly is to go to theaters and see a film when it is released instead of asking our indecent friends to send that pirated piece. Let’s not make India a nation of beggars and cheaters who enjoy things or persons in the well-known indecent ways. India means piracy and hypocrisy. Do we like this stamp from outsiders?

I like to see this film again. I enjoyed it. You too would enjoy it. Always try to see something in its original form. It may be produced in other languages also soon but you need to see the Telugu film to appreciate our folks a little. I mean Telugu speaking chaps. I love my mother tongue and people speaking it a little more than others no?

TRANSLATION OF MY LOVE POETRY

Refer to my earlier blog posted here titled "Valentine's Day". Below is the English version of the poetry I earlier presented here in Telugu. The ones in blue are in Telugu and the following are in English, for your reference. None of the pieces I sent to Eenadu got any prize. I have no reason to blame Anantha Sriram. I can understand the dilemma of a judge in such a context. Everybody can't be a winner. It also means that those that could not win a prize are not winners. In most of the cases, the judge is to be pitied because a true person should never judge others' creativity in a comparative stand.

Love is an odd picture drawn by one’s mind
Love is a sacred letter scripted by one’s heart
Love is the lifeblood of dreams and arts
Love considers both ambrosia and poison alike
It is love if one can cry deeply for another
Love is a world-famous medicine/liquor that can keep a man like a man forever...
