SC ST RESERVATIONS IN INDIA

I think the idea of reservations to select communities in India was initiated by Dr. B R Ambedkar through the constitution of India soon after independence to India from the British rulers. Those days, the people belonging to those communities, who are labeled as SC and ST classes of Indian society, were treated inhumanly by most of the communities labeled as Other Communities. I believe Ambedkar desired these reservations to be implemented for SC and ST Communities for a period of 10 years only believing that a considerable change can be brought in the lives of these people during that time. However, this system of reservations is still in effect in India. The following are the reasons for its extension year after year.

1. SC and ST communities got accustomed to the culture of reservations for some years. If they are dropped down from that cradle of comfort and happiness, by any political party, contesting elections, during any period of time, it partly contributes to their defeat ultimately. So, because political power and related privileges are more important for any political party in any country like India, Indian politicians never thought of banning reservation system in India during the last 50 years.

2. SC and ST communities developed a sense of unity and collective struggle for their comforts and happiness over a period of time largely because of their education and financial growth. They formed into associations and unions across places in India. Doing something against any policy meant for their comfort is like directly fighting with fire and mire. So, nobody is interested in indulging in their affairs.

These SC and ST reservations are causing a lot of unrest and disappointment in India. The following are some of these problems briefly.

1. Since there are reservations for the communities of SC and ST in India, many people belonging to these social categories almost stopped taking their lives or professions seriously. From birth to death, they are like adopted children of the Government of India. They can study freely, get any job easily, get promotions comfortably and do anything very easily in comparison to those of other communities. Resultantly they lacked competitive spirit. Hundreds of teachers are working in Indian schools, colleges and universities without much knowledge related to their chosen subjects. Dullards are there even from other communities but the percentage of dullards arising from these communities is always high. This phenomenon of low quality human resources is not prevalent just in teaching profession but any other imaginable profession in India. When inefficient and incompetent staff members abound a department or professional field, naturally the development of that region or the nation concerned gets deeply affected. This is what is happening in India now. I observed such retrograde occurrences in many fields.

2. Since SC and ST community members are being identified and promoted extensively due to the various policies and programs of governments at state and central level, intelligent, hard-working and visionary human resources from other communities are getting disappointed to that extent. An SC or ST candidate is able to reach a prestigious status of job or profession within five years whereas a member of other communities takes at least 20 years to reach the same position or status. This wide difference in the path of development of human resources in India is largely because of reservations to SC and ST. As such, SC and ST community members assumed the status of ‘authorized beggars’ in India when considered from the perspectives of disappointed members of other communities. If I struggle for one hour to have meal in a prestigious hotel, an SC or ST candidate can have it within a minute. T      he government authorized him to have anything before others because they are psychologically, financially and socially backward classes by virtue of their genes or Karma. In this hypothesis, the prestigious hotel is a rare opportunity provided by government. I get it late because the government expects me to await it for any length of time whereas it authorizes ‘the other weaker person’ to have it readily. There is no struggle in his life to get anything but I have to struggle like anything to achieve in this nation. I call him a beggar because he is depending on ‘national income’ for his comforts and happiness, to which I am also contributing largely every financial year, in different kinds of taxes and other ways. There are millions of donors in India contributing to ‘tax income’ directly or indirectly. Governments are spending most of that money to the development and happiness of SC and ST communities because their vote banks must not be disturbed.

3. Once there was untouchability in India based on the theory of Chaathur Varna professed by Manu. Ambedkar thought of avoiding it altogether blessing those communities with the boon of reservations. Now there is no such kind of untouchability in many regions of India but a different one. Now Indians have this tendency towards folks of SC and ST, “It is better if I don’t talk with or touch them in any context because they apply atrocity case against me if I do so”. It does not mean that folks of other communities are not maintaining relations with those of SC and ST but they are always alert on the consequences of their association. SC and ST communities are the children of God (Hari Jan) once as believed and called by Mahatma Gandhi. They despised that title for various reasons. The title they use and prefer now is ‘Dalit’. They like to change their fates and images in contemporary Indian societies changing their ‘identity titles’ but not their attitudes and culture. If they have self-respect, they should not depend on alms thrown by others (the people of India) in the form of reservations. They should compete with others, applying their brains, which are uniformly energized by God. Leaving this universal truth, they are always focusing their energies and movements on the idea of further strengthening reservations exclusively for their communities. Since they penetrated government agencies and departments like cancer during the last 60 years, now they are fighting for reservations in private sector also. It means they chose to live as shameless beggars and insensitive parasites in India forever. They don’t like to improve themselves applying the powers and strengths of their physical and mental qualities. Such perpetual dependence on income and facilities earned by others brought them an ugly image in India during the last few years. Other community members are taking them as detestable and avoidable untouchables now for these valid reasons. If one is living due to my kindness and support, I naturally call him my servant.

4. I wonder to observe the scenario of ‘SC and ST atrocity cases’ in India. In Andhra Pradesh, the Maala and Maadhiga community members are the highest numbers of SC social class. They can have titles for their unions with these community names. They can stage protests anywhere using these public identities. But, I or anybody belonging to other community is not supposed to address them using this community name, publicly or privately. If I do so in any context, it results in “atrocity case against me” because I insulted them. If anybody addresses me as “Kshatriya” or “Raju” or “Raja” or “Varma”, I feel happy and proud about it because it is my community name known to all. This is the case with other communities also. They don’t mind being addressed using their community names. Only SC and ST community members do not like the folks of other communities addressing them using their community names. What does it mean? They think their community names symbolize poverty, backwardness, pain, loss, guilt and so on. So, they remember those notions only when folks of other communities address them so but not if folks of their community do so. What kind of attitude is this? What kind of courts, lawyers and judges do we have in India? All the judges and lawyers in this nation should hang themselves publicly for the kind of felony they introduced in India in the form of “SC and ST atrocity case”. They are there to punish voiceless and helpless Indians but not themselves or the influential ones. They are like dead bodies in Indian judicial system. So, let’s not discuss much about their existence in this corrupt and spoiled nation. I know about many false and fake cases of this order being shot at innocent folks of other communities and the kind of loss and suffering they underwent because of this heinous legal system in India.

5. I wonder to note the kind of reverence and devotion the folks of SC and ST communities have towards Ambedkar in India. You can see the statues of and community buildings named after Ambedkar almost in every SC community area in Andhra Pradesh. They worship him as God because he introduced the shelter of reservations to them in the constitution of India. They can live happily under that category and related privileges. Ambedkar stamped them as ‘permanently disabled social parasites’. Governments treat them as physically and mentally impaired ones by birth and so they look after them with more care and concern than others. Worshipping Ambedkar is like accepting their virtual death publicly as far as SC and ST communities are concerned in India. Ambedkar considered them helpless for some time only but they chose to be so forever accepting reservations for them continuously. Alluri Sita Rama Raju is a member of Kshatriya community but I am not worshipping him. I like to be identified and respected by others based on what I represent as an individual. My strengths and merits should attract others towards me but not my association to the community of that of Alluri Sita Rama Raju, who had been a ferocious and patriotic freedom fighter some years ago. I am not a parasite. I am not depending on government for everything in my life or profession. I am trying to improve myself. I am working to live with self-respect even when I am in a pit of problems and loss. It must be the spirit of every Indian. It must be the spirit of those of SC and ST communities also. When can I see such India where the worth of an individual is identified and appreciated but not their social, regional, linguistic, financial or religious status?

6. There are intellectuals and idealists in SC and ST communities also but they are not appreciated by folks of other communities in India as much as they deserve because the members of other communities stopped thinking about them beyond ‘reservations’. So, my idea would be ‘he achieved all that because of reservations and there is no any actual worth in him as an individual’. This is the curse against all those of SC and ST communities in India now. They have no identity of their own beyond ‘reservations’ tag!

7. I noticed the frustrated girls of other communities marrying SC and ST candidates mostly in Andhra Pradesh during the last few years. They are adopted children of India with strong government protection. Nobody can touch an SC or ST candidate considering their status accorded by Indian courts now. I don’t know whether I should take it as an achievement of these communities or otherwise.

8. The constitution of India is the guide of Indian democracy. Even the syllabus of schoolbooks and related guides published by private business agencies change frequently. There is a lot of change in India compared to the times of Ambedkar. He was right in thinking so about SC and ST communities based on the prevailing social conditions of those days. But, we are wrong in not rewriting many outdated and useless laws and doctrines stated in our constitution even after so many years after independence to India. Reservations are just one outdated concept in our constitution. There are hundreds of such avoidable acts and principles in our big book of democracy. Who changes it outright in tune to the influences of contemporary times, honestly and ideally? When every organ of the governments is corrupt and infested with ministers of dirty characters and stinking political background, when can we see India progressing towards a holy milestone where virtues are respected and vice is punished strictly within days? SC and ST reservations is undoubtedly one of the major factors causing a gamut of problems and unrest in India. It is like a fatal cancer, spreading across India, with dangerous consequences to be faced by all of us.

As an Indian, dreaming of a stage of evolution of Indians, whereby equal opportunities are provided to all without the biases of caste, religion, region, language or nationality, I think the following ideas and measures help us march towards a brighter future. If we work ideally, we can realize our ideals one day.

1. Reservations of all kinds must be banned in India. Those with potential to learn and improve on their own to reach any position in their lives or professions must be encouraged substantially by governments at all levels honestly. Merit must be the ultimate criterion to respect and promote anybody. If one fails to achieve merit through continuous struggle and passion for it, one remains backwards. That’s it.

2. Reservations can be continued for those who are born with physical or psychological abnormalities or disabilities because we should protect and serve those more, who are not as comfortable as we are in all respects. Old people, widows, victims of natural calamities and wars, and all those suffering from an inevitable disorder or pain, caused by external forces or by an accident, should be cared and looked after by all societies and nations since it is an expression of our humanity towards those, who need it the most. Unfortunately real victims are not getting such solace and relief in India much but cheats and criminals.

3. SC and ST community members should think and work hard to grow psychologically. They should try to get recognition and appreciation based on the knowledge and skills they possess instead of a social image accorded to them by Ambedkar, constitution of India or governments at various levels. They can feel proud only when they achieve something investing their intelligence and hard work in a field.

4. There are many problems in India like poverty, corruption, terrorism and separatism. We should address these problems understanding their root causes as idealists and thinkers but not as businessmen. A businessman solves problems on a temporary basis. We never get rid of them. The present governments are responding and reacting to burning issues like opportunistic businesspersons.

5. All Indians are not alike as far as their financial status is concerned. So, subsidies and other privileges should not be provided to all alike. Most of the budgetary allocations in India are being directed towards institutional and individual thieves. Their objective is to grab huge public money somehow. It can be avoided only when the wrongdoers would be identified immediately and punished very strictly fast.

6. India should not remain as a land of lazy and crazy idiots who do something following the trends created by loafers and cheats. Their knowledge and questioning attitude must be activated to understand who they are and how they should change to improve their lives and this nation ultimately. Such facilities and opportunities must be provided by governments and philanthropists extensively across places.

7. Rulers are daily misguiding people in different ways. As long as politicians and policy makers remain indifferent towards the sustainable progress of their people, a nation does not develop. Corrupt politicians and businesspersons must be killed by radical thinkers and revolutionaries rapidly. Anybody should be scared to indulge in acts of corruption and immorality. We need such extremists in India now very badly.

8. The policies of the governments should not make people into drunkards, smokers, hypocrites, thieves, fraudsters and terrorists but thinkers and idealists. Those with intelligence and self-esteem seldom accept others to guide them out of sympathy. Proud Indians should not expect sympathy and alms from others but opportunities to prove their abilities. Every good Indian should look for such environment in India. As long as Indians think, respond and react like beggars or parasites to persons, challenges and circumstances around them; India does not become a happy and peaceful country.

SAINT AND SANATANA

While I was strolling through the valleys of Jaimini Hills recently during late midnight hours out of my spiritual interest to feel intangible conversations of invisible creatures possessing material sensibilities partly but using supernatural signs completely, I came across a heavenly talk between a young and highly attractive saint and an equally beautiful and inspiring Indian beauty near Himachal Pradesh. The following is the text version of their short talk decoded and typed by me using my extrasensory powers prevalent exclusively during those hours sanctified by me applying my sublime energy suitable to such contexts.

Sanatana: I have been waiting for long to talk with you for a few minutes. I am deeply impressed by your bodily attraction and spiritual growth, a rare combination of physical and mental brilliance to be found in this material world. Your body is shining with beauty. Your mind is filled with spiritual thoughts.

Saint: Ordinary human beings cannot see me with their material eyes. Let me know why and from where you came to this hilly region? When millions of ordinary Indian girls are craving material joys and comforts, what brought you here? I have no passion for this material world but compassion for you.

Sanatana: Thank you for your nominal interest in my material existence. I was born in 1990 at a village in Maharashtra to very rich parents as only daughter. I was educated and brought up very comfortably. Slowly I realized that I cannot rely on anybody or anything in this world though everything seems easily accessible to me. Especially pain and death all around me transformed my attitude towards life in this world a lot. One may be a billionaire or a magician with extraordinary skills and capacity to do many things but one is unable to bring happiness and comforts into the lives of even those closely associated to one. It means nobody has control on his life or on those of others. Everybody is playing a helpless role imposed by somebody else. Many things in this world are happening according to a perfect order. I consider him God. I think He is managing the occurrences in this world. Based on my study of many religious and spiritual books, I realized that bliss associated with God is permanent unlike the one we see in this material world. One day I left my house and came to this place after many enquiries about a serene and holy place where saints can be seen after a thorough spiritual struggle inside. I meditated God for about two years sitting silently in a cave, consuming fruits, nuts and leaves available in my surroundings. Slowly I started sensing the presence of holy beings like you. That’s how I came to feel your presence and get attracted towards your achievements. I am feeling blissful in your presence.

Saint: It’s wonder to know that a splendid beauty like you with so much of wealth and loving parents behind chose this difficult path while very young. Everybody that takes a birth in this material world possesses the qualities of similar creatures. A monkey behaves like other monkeys. A hunter thinks like another hunter. We generally find uniformity in characteristics of creatures in this material world. However, very few, who realize the power of God on many things occurring in this world, struggle to come out of this painful and transient sphere of human life. I am happy to know that you chose this path.

Sanatana: My spiritual growth is less compared to yours. I often feel lonely and lost recalling my association with my possessive parents and close friends. I somehow managed to suppress those feelings and focus deeply on God. Unless I get some of my doubts clarified by you, I cannot avoid my passion for the attractions in this world. One may fall off this spiritual process at any time, even after many years of meditation and realization of God, because the evil attractions here are so powerful and misguiding. Once I know the brilliance of this path, I cannot be tempted to fall back into that mire of human relationships and bonds. My awareness and passion for God must always guide me towards Him.

Saint: Many take fast decisions being compelled by some adverse conditions around them but withdraw themselves from those resolutions because transformation is not as easy and simple as we imagine before entering that critical process. We should despise what we have loved the most till that time. We must be ready to taste bitter foods leaving all tasty ones around. We should lose passion for this body. So many changes should happen within us and our behavior once we decide to transform completely. Many cannot withstand the ordeals on this tough path. So, they drop off it at any time just like that. I am glad that you achieved a degree of spiritual growth whereby you are able to feel my presence and talk to me. Every great soul should help other souls to transform from material bondage to divine realization. Considering your passion for realization of God, I would answer many of your questions. Remember that spiritual progress occurs slowly. There are stages of evolution in this journey also. I may not be able to answer all your questions. I have been meditating for the last 20 years. I achieved moderate spiritual status only. Still there is a long process ahead of me to be faced and achieved bravely and patiently.

Sanatana: God must be kind to all. He is like a kind father to all the creatures in this world but some are suffering with difficulties and inevitable pains and some are celebrating their lives with much wealth and happiness. Why these many differences among the creatures made by God? I am confused.

Saint: This material world is like a huge playground prepared by God. We call it universe in our terms as ordinary human beings. Earth planet is a little bit in His creation of wonders and mysteries. He creates various souls initially and leaves them in this playground. Thereafter He simply watches the game of their lives and struggles in that playground like a neutral observer. Based on what those souls are doing with various body forms in a series of lifetimes, they accumulate an account of their own, which they must spend lifetime after lifetime. It is what we call Karma. Initially all souls have merits only. In course of time, due to the impact of God’s magic on various souls, they get into evil and remain there taking it as real wealth and happiness. God allows every soul to pass through millions of lifetimes to get astray unbelievably. It is like an innocent hero in a feature film committing many mistakes or doing wonders taking himself as an extraordinary person with exceptional qualities and ultimately realizing that he is almost nothing compared to God. We call it climax. A soul takes hundreds of years to search for its originator; that is God. Various players play differently in this longest game of spiritual journey planned and executed by God. If you are suffering, it’s because of what you did once and if you are happy now, it is also because of what you did once. God remains active much during the origin of a soul and its immersion in Him ultimately. He allows each soul to accumulate Karma of its own and live it until it reaches its destination towards the end of that long journey. We are all objects of game in His playground. He is the intelligent director and curious spectator of that longest drama in this creation. A father can cause birth to a creature but how it lives and dies is not in his hands in our familiar material world also. God also likes to play such nominal role while watching the game of various souls created by Him. He knows that every soul comes back to Him one day after being completely vexed with what’s happening around it in His sphere of pains and joys. You cannot blame Him if you are sad because you are responsible for it. You need not appreciate him if you are happy because you are responsible for it also. He treats both alike but we fail to understand it applying our narrow mindsets as humans. What everybody is supposed to do is to constantly remember Him and be grateful to Him feeling something like, “God! I am a helpless and hopeless creature in your big world. Thanks for creating my soul. Thank you for making me a player in your longest game of fun and pain. I played it more than enough. I committed many crimes and sins in this game thinking that it cannot bind me. The related Karma, attached to my soul, is making me take birth after birth in different life forms. I would not indulge in sins any more. From this birth onwards, I exclusively focus on clearing the results of my good and bad Karma alike because both make me take another series of births again. If I start this journey of reformation now, I may reach you in about 1000 years or so based on how much I could achieve. Till then, enable me to realize you gradually. I cannot play this painful game anymore. Help me reach you fast”. How many humans are entering this path of brilliance in the material world you saw once? They are talking a lot of nonsense and indulging in a variety of misdeeds and crimes neglecting God, their creator. What does a father do if his children are misbehaving? He allows them to their lot? He cares for them only when they realize about his kindness and affection? He guides them again towards a good path of happiness and comforts only when they earnestly seek his help. God allows you to play the game in this world as long as you like. You may go back to Him only when you want it. He has more patience and vision than you.

Sanatana: Why so much of attraction between females and males in all kinds of species on this earth? That temptation is so enticing and inevitable that millions of creatures are struggling in that mire of bodily attractions and related reproduction process across the world. They know that bringing up children is almost similar to hell but knowingly they are getting into that ditch repeatedly. Sex gives pleasure for a few moments but it leads to a series of attractions, bonds and related burdens one after one. Why are creatures unable to come out of this trap? What is making them so mad and foolish?

Saint: I think you must have watched cockfights somewhere. It is just one kind of bloody games conducted and enjoyed by thousands of evil rogues in this material world. They celebrate the pain of other creatures subjecting them to fights and races. Cocks know that they are being subjected to pain by humans but still they fight among themselves when others are watching. It is their inherent tendency to fight. Similarly God also desires to see how humans struggle and suffer if they are connected to one another with a strong bodily force. It is the inherent drive for sex. As long as there is that instinct in a creature, it continues to attach itself with a variety of creatures based on its passion for the entity of other gender. It is the source of pains and attachments. When there is no element of intense pain in the characterization of roles, no drama or film looks very interesting to viewers. We love and remember tragedies longer than comedies. Similarly, God also infuses pain into our lives through the medium of sex instincts. Until you realize that you are not the body but soul wearing various bodies according to the Karma accumulated by it because of what it has been doing over a series of lifetimes, you cannot resist temptation for sexual pleasures. You would reach that stage of realization only after you are unbearably disappointed with everything related to sex and what it entails in the lifetime of a creature.

Sanatana: Can we consider doctors, teachers, inventors and scientists better creatures than laborers, peasant farmers, thieves and dullards? They are contributing substantially towards the awareness of masses and development of nation. They are working hard for the welfare and happiness of others.

Saint: Karma does not attach itself to a soul based on what you are doing but the purpose behind doing it knowingly. If a doctor serves the poor and the helpless selflessly, sacrificing many comforts in his personal life, he accumulates good kind of Karma. If a teacher is teaching just for the sake of salary and other benefits, he accumulates bad kind of Karma. If an inventor is creating something out of magnanimity, he is accumulating good Karma and if he does it to earn a lot of money, he accumulates bad Karma. Similarly, if scientists are making anything for the happiness of mankind and other creatures, they certainly accumulate good Karma. God scans our spirit of thoughts and true intentions but not our outward appearance and casual acts. If you smile at a baby out of pure love, it shows you as a good creature to God. If you pretend goodness towards a set of old and helpless people, and talk a few lies only to impress them somehow, God allows you to experience similar Karma. God knows many things about you which you also do not know about you because He is your creator and director. So, never consider one kind of living or profession superior or inferior to the other. It is your true intention that matters more than your acting skills. Anybody should not try to impress God through acting and lying.

Sanatana: Space research agencies like ISRO and NASA have been struggling hard for years to know more about unknown and inaccessible wonders in this universe. Can they completely understand the secrets and mysteries of this universe even after 1000 years from now?

Saint: All those scientists and technicians are also characters in the game of God. To arouse a lot of curiosity and suspense in viewers, a director creates a multitude of characters and series of mesmerizing events in a feature film or drama. Likewise, God also encourages some of His creatures to explore His gigantic world, applying their material intelligence and capabilities. It’s like a physical trainer teaching his students to practice different kinds of exercises to keep themselves fit. If humans, the players in the game of God, are not active and enthusiastic to play different roles, ultimately the beauty of drama gets affected. So, God intentionally forces those scientists towards trying such space games also. They can never understand the phenomena and occurrences in this universe completely. Can an actor ever assess the true intelligence and creativity of his director just by acting in some of the films directed by him? Director is always more intelligent and powerful than those acting in creative pieces of expression made by him. Scientists may be able to understand one percent of this universe in another 1000 years or so.

Sanatana: Poets, idealists and saints take nature as a blessing of God because they always seek divine pleasure from the effects of nature everywhere. On the other hand, those living depending on forests, lakes, mountains and seas consider those entities of nature just as sources of their livelihood. What is the true purpose of nature in this world as planned by God?

Saint: Just like a beautician decorates a bride before her marriage and a gardener keeps his garden green and beautiful always, God also likes to keep His playground beautiful and pleasant mostly. What does a beautician do if that bride criticizes her irrationally out of excessive pride and the owner of a garden insults and beats that gardener for no particular reason. They know how to deface a bride or a garden because they are professionals. If various kinds of creatures, for the comfort and joy of which God created nature spectacularly, fail to keep it in that order only, God expresses His anger through the exhibition of concealed negative qualities of nature. Natural calamities are just an example of this nature of God. Man knows what is good or bad for him, others or nature but he does quite avoidable things to satisfy his ego and false prestige. When man misbehaves, God teaches him lessons. Moreover, nature plays a unique role towards various creatures depending on their Karma. A poet may also die in a forest through the bite of a snake if his Karma subjects him to that treatment. A peasant farmer may find a treasure of valuable items in his barren farm also if his good Karma leads him to that moment of bliss in his troublesome life. How nature looks, responds or reacts depends on what a creature in relation to it deserves at that particular moment. Nature also plays a definitive role in allowing various creatures in this world to live their Karma. You and I are using this forest to meditate God. A hunter searches for and kills birds and animals in it. A poet scribbles poetry being impressed by the beauty of this nature. All these creatures are being directed towards this forest to fulfill their Karmas differently.

Sanatana: How can one attain salvation? When does one start journey in this direction?

Saint: Can we assess when each of 1000 children stop playing when left absolutely free in a large playground? How long each of them plays in that playground largely depends on their spirit of energy, enthusiasm, climatic conditions and so many other factors. Similarly, God sends all equally talented and energized players into His huge playground at a time with equal love for all of them. Some desire to come out of it earlier than others. Many play there for millions of years because God wants them to be so passionate and attached to His beautifully made playground of wonders and mysteries. When He wants to end that phase of creation and drama, He creates conducive atmosphere for all souls to realize Him fast and get back. It may be heavenly or hellish. Realization is possible both ways. After closing one phase of drama, He starts another. It runs for another millions of years. One can attain salvation when one realizes that one’s blissful destination is God, his creator, but nothing else around him here. When one starts journey towards this direction depends on the amount of one’s accumulated good or bad Karma. One should clear both kinds of Karma attached to one’s soul to move back to God.

Sanatana: Is human life superior to all other kinds of life forms in this material world?

Saint: Just like a few enthusiastic children wear different masks to play the roles of different animals, birds and creatures in a huge resort meant for it, various souls take different kinds of life forms in their long journey as individual souls. Compared to all other life forms, human life form is more suited to realization of God. It’s like the last game by those children in an amusement park. If they are not interested to come out of it, even before it gets dark, they stay back in it and suffer playing at night also. Those that step out of it before dusk reach their homes safely and rest there happily under the kind guidance of their parents. Since God is our father, we should utilize the human life form to understand the greatness of our father and try strongly to reach His abode early, without lingering with those shadows and evil attractions in this painful world of creatures. Human life is an opportunity given to us by God to reach Him earlier than His scheduled longest game. Many play there till the last hour set by God for a phase of game because He beautifies His playground so enticingly and enchantingly.

Sanatana: Why does spiritual life look very difficult to those entering it initially? I am finding every day and night like an ordeal to continue here despite my best efforts. Why is the route to God so tough?

Saint: I would explain you this point through a short story, “Mobi was the son of a rich and kind father. His mother died when he was four. His father brought him up affectionately ever since the death of her. When Mobi was 20, he fell in love with a foreign girl. He asked his father to get him married with her. His father enquired a lot about her and knew that it would be 15th marriage for her if she would marry his son. She got accustomed to multiple marriages and torturing each of her husbands until they would leave her on their own. So, he did not approve his marriage with her as a kind and visionary father. Mobi thought that his father became a villain in his life. He married her against his wishes. His father gave all his money and assets to his son with the hope that he would be happy somehow. He told him that he was going away to a hilly region to live peacefully among tribes working hard as one of them. Soon Mobi realized that his wife was just like a sadist. Within two years, he got separated from her voluntarily. He started understanding the greatness and importance of his father in his life. He had no money on him to search for his father. He could reach his father after 10 years. He struggled and suffered a lot in this search for him. If he had obeyed the instructions of his kind father years ago, he would not have faced that many difficulties in his short life. His father welcomed him warmly and looked after him carefully”. In this story, Mobi is like an ordinary creature. His father is like God. The girl, whom he married and because of whom he suffered a lot, is like the evil attractions in this material world. God installs conscience in each creature He creates. It is a force of ideal guidance inherent in us. When we ignore its commands and go astray being misled by various evil forces, we miss our father, the God. We fail to recognize Him even if He is just beside us when we are entrapped by the shadows in this world. When we realize His greatness, we voluntarily struggle a lot to reach Him somehow. It is difficult to get a lost treasure back. It is very difficult to reach God after getting ourselves drenched in a number of pits of filth out of our ignorance caused by our accumulated Karma. God tests us extensively when we are thoroughly spoiled in many lifetimes. It’s like a teacher explaining a difficult lesson to his innocent student minding his happiness in future. We take a lot of time to wash a muddy cloth rather than a plain cloth. God does not allow our soul of desires and passions to reach Him with so many impurities. He subjects us to a variety of ablutions to cleanse our soul and make it suitable to access Him. This material world is like a circus. Anybody can live like anything here. The abode of God is like a temple. Only those entirely sanctified to enter and stay there can reach it after many struggles and pains. It is a tough path.

Sanatana: How can we get rid of our account of accumulated Karma?

Saint: We can get rid of Karma without indulging in any kind of Karma at all. If you are born rich, you should shun all your wealth and assets and seek God. If you are born poor, you should not try to become rich somehow struggling hard but search for God and strive to reach Him. If your goal is reaching God, you should shun all your desires and passions for anything or anybody appearing in this material world. A soul, which has been accustomed to a variety of desires and passions and related life forms, cannot resort towards God that easily. So, it is a vicious web around us in which one kind of Karma forces us towards another kind of extending or withdrawing from it. If you give 100 rupees to a person, you should go back to him sometime to take it back. If you borrow 1000 rupees from another person, you should go to him and repay it someday. Both ways, you are subject to the effects of your good or bad Karma. Both keep you back attached to this material world. Coming out of this net is a very difficult process. This is why millions of souls take a multitude of births and rebirths to live their Karma for thousands of years. God invites those souls back, faster, which request Him honestly for long.

Sanatana: Is there any use in one going to a number of temples regularly as we see here much?

Saint: God does not like acting skills of His devotees at all. What are they doing at temples? They are offering some gifts to God thinking that He blesses them irrationally and illogically. God sends all creatures into this world expecting all of them to be good and happy always. When they fail to be so, He loses compassion for them. He cannot bless them as long as they do not change to His expectations. Temples are manmade abodes of worship. They cannot be made holy unless those frequenting them are sacred. A rich and undisciplined student cannot impress his righteous teacher through his gimmicks and lies but a poor and obedient student can easily impress such teacher within days. God is like that teacher. We are all like His students. We need not visit any temple, church or mosque, as long as we are in the process of delivering ourselves from the webs we are creating around us continuously. Getting rid of our accumulated Karma allows us to reach God fast. So, we should focus more on this aspect of our lifetime instead of other acts. When our Karma is pulling us back from God, we cannot move ahead in that path. We created our Karma for long. We should rid it struggling hard for long.

Sanatana: Does our knowledge of and familiarity with saints help us reach God faster?

Saint: Saints are practitioners of the principles and practices required to reach God earlier than other ordinary creatures. Just like an experienced doctor can guide an inexperienced doctor in understanding the nature of medicines and the pursuit of surgeries, a saint can advise an ordinary person on how to understand and reach God. Just as an experienced and famous doctor does not have much time and patience to guide an ordinary doctor, most of the saints, who are intensely engaged in the pursuit of God through rigorous meditation, mostly do not guide ordinary people in a spiritual path. They do not like to add more Karma to their souls mingling with sinful rogues again, a mistake they committed once. It is an ordeal to win the heart of a great saint. He has no time for anything in this world except to try to reach God fast. He has been thoroughly vexed with everything and everybody in this world through taking a series of life forms. Their urge to reach God is so intense that they subject their bodies to many tests and atonements in that process. They treat their bodies just like worthless objects thrown into this material world unkindly by God. They don’t rest until they reach their destination. So, if you are finding many folks with beards and saffron pieces in public places and other abodes with special decoration, it means they are dropouts from the path of God or they are not even at the entrance gate of that pursuit. Many pretend as saints to impress others and make an ordinary or comfortable living. A real saint does not crave human company and comforts but moves away from them. He renounces all that.

Sanatana: Why should God create this longest game at all and subject all of us to so many pains?

Saint: I too asked this question some of my familiar saints here but nobody could answer it. It’s like asking a doctor why he pursued medicine and treating patients when he clearly knows that he cannot avoid death despite his best efforts. It’s like asking an old man why he is growing so many plants and trees beside public roads despite knowing that nobody is appreciating his vision and efforts. It’s like asking a mother why she is carrying an infant in her for nine months and suffering for her lifetime observing the life of her daughter or son. These are all testing and painful efforts. I too don’t understand why God is creating so many souls for each phase of His game and watching His tragic dramas one after another. Perhaps activity is his interest. He does not like to be idle always. Just as we are creating dolls for our babies, He is creating us to entertain His guests somewhere. I too don’t know where all these souls stay when He ends each phase of His longest drama. I think I can get answers to such highly difficult questions when I attain salvation and reach God. Unfortunately, those that attain salvation are not coming back into this material world to clarify many spiritual doubts of some ordinary human beings. Perhaps they are so averse to visiting this enticing and misleading playground that they are forgetting us altogether after reaching there after years of struggle and pains in that spiritual path.

Sanatana: There are many religions and spiritual paths in this world professed by various beings. Who is real God; Jesus Christ, Allah or Lord Krishna? Why so many beliefs and practices when there is one God only?  The followers of one religion are fighting with those of other religions and faiths. How can we understand who real God is and where He is? Why should not real God appear to us physically?

Saint: Let’s hope that Sun is a God. He is appearing in the same form in different countries at different times. He is called differently by different people according to their languages and faiths. He is a small round object to ordinary humans on earth. It is a huge entity of burning fire filled with gases and cosmic reactions to those scientists who are able to see it using their utilities of high capacity. I don’t know if there are creatures in other planets revolving around Sun. What might be their perception about Sun? Such many questions and doubts arise when we try to assess the true nature of God from our perspectives which are limited to a great extent. It’s like a kindergarten kid preparing a performance appraisal report about a scientist with extraordinary intelligence and inventions to his credit. Perhaps we must progress a lot in our spiritual journey to understand the true form and nature of God. Also, God is not appearing to us physically like the director of a feature film. We are able to see characters, events, dialogues, fights, duets and climax only in many films. Probably the director does not like to appear to his viewers in a film made by him. Similarly, God, the director of this huge drama and playground, does not like to make a showy appearance in His cosmic presentation. Perhaps we are not able to see Him with our ordinary eyes. He just wants us to be characters in His drama. We are helpless. Those that reached Him after years of spiritual struggle must have seen Him and chose to stay back with Him.

Sanatana: May I know why you entered this spiritual path at such a tender age?

Saint: Again, it is a matter of my Karma. My spiritual efforts in a series of my previous births blocked me from entering material life deeply in this birth. When I was four years old, one night, I had a dream. It awakened me from my ignorance and innocence as a child. I developed deep aversion for this material world within days after that subconscious experience. I told my parents that I had decided to go far away to meditate God. They are also spiritually oriented to much extent. They agreed after a few days of hesitation. Our souls decide where to take a birth and what course of life to be led based on our accumulated Karma in our previous life forms. God kindly facilitates such souls to reach His path of brilliance and divinity earlier than others. It is like a coach teaching the skills of a game more intensely to his highly devoted and disciplined student than those who are not interested in him or that game much. This credit goes to my accumulated Karma over my previous births and the kindness of God. Human willpower plays very nominal role only in this process of transformation from a materialist to a saint.

Sanatana: I love you. I miss you a lot if you go away from me leaving alone in this thick forest. Would you allow me to sit somewhere near you and meditate? I like this spiritual path but I am feeling forsaken.

Saint: You were an actress in your previous birth. You were an exceptional beauty as well. You used to tell ‘I love you’ to many actors in many dramas and films in that birth as part of your profession. Despite your meditation for two years and your ability to perceive my spiritual form, your soul is exerting the impulses of your most recent life form on you. You loved many in films and dramas in that life but failed to feel genuine love from any of those actors or your husband. That void of lovesickness and pain is still attached to your soul’s account of Karma. In this life also, you are born with the beauty of an angel. Even after years of rigorous meditation and attainment of many spiritual powers, I am feeling attracted towards you. This is how our Karma pulls us back into those evil material attractions. Bodily desires bind us if we meditate sitting closely in two caves. I request you to stay here. I go to my actual place of meditation, which is about one kilometer from here in this forest. Very soon, I am going to achieve a level of spiritual progress whereby I cannot be tempted by any material entity. Then I come to you and take you with me to allow you to sit somewhere near me and meditate God. I help you in this process. I save and keep you out of your material tendencies till then applying my spiritual power. I will be your spiritual guide hereafter. God would be kind with those that help others reach Him fast.

DEAR NARENDRA MODI

Dear Narendra Modi,

I wondered when you touched the entrance of Parliament devoutly the other day. You took it as a holy place but I consider it a dirty place. The land of Parliament does not become holy within seconds just because you became the Prime Minister of India. Hundreds of criminals entered it earlier with evil forces of immorality, corruption and filth. Still there are many sinners in it. You are not making laws to benefit the innocent and the poor but the influential and the manipulative. When scores of such selfish and narrow-minded idiots are sitting in Parliament, how can it be considered holy by you? Ordinary Indians are not at all interested in what is happening in Parliament because it is not working for them but millionaires and billionaires in India and other countries.

You are an admirable person and politician in BJP but not most of others working under your leadership. They have been and will continue to be rogues. They indulge in corrupt and immoral dealings as long as they are in power because they are not interested in developing India but themselves. You are like a stainless star among a number of criminals and sinners. Can you ever state that everybody working under the banner of BJP is a righteous person in all respects? You are leading a bad party with good motives. If everybody in this country has patriotism and dedication like you to develop India, working hard continuously, we can see developed India in near future but that is not the situation in India now. Everybody is interested in exploiting others for his rapid development.

We generally institute regulatory bodies like ICAI to establish and practice norms needed for development of our regions but almost all of these regulatory bodies in India are corrupt to the core. CAs advise companies and individuals how to evade tax and become rich and influential in a short period of time. I don’t believe that election commission and ACB are working with utmost freedom and honesty. Take any regulatory body in India. It is fundamentally wrong in delivering its scheduled services.

Corruption is prevalent in almost every region in various ways. Crores of public money is being misused every year. Only those, who can fight for their rights patiently, are getting justice after years. Hopeless and helpless Indians are not resorting to courts of law for justice but praying God to bless them with death at the earliest.

I am not living in a kingdom of Lord Rama but a place where opportunists and criminals are being treated like kings and queens and the honest and the hard-working ones are being treated like worthless objects. In this bleak scenario, I believe, you can achieve very little in the years to come. It is not just enough if a leader is ideal and visionary, but his followers must also possess these qualities. How many of your MPs and ministers have qualities like you? Even if you take the best decisions, they defeat your ideals and vision directly or indirectly. You are like a holy cow among many dangerous brutes. You utilize your authority to serve the people of India substantially but your team members use such authority to earn money and become rich fast. What is known publicly is very little. Crores of money is changing hands regularly in India. It is a strongly established hierarchical process wherein everybody gets his or her share of corrupt money or assets based on his or her status in that chain of authorities.

Corruption and disorders are prevalent in India like mosquitoes and darkness at night. You want to reform such India into a vibrant place of wonders. On one hand you are selling tobacco products and alcohol to Indians for the tax income being generated from it and on the other hand you are talking about the welfare of Indians. Are you improving or ruining the lots of Indians this way? You want to collect money from the dead bodies of drunkards, prostitutes and idealists alike in the form of taxes and other legalized penalties. You want to provide political idiots with a number of facilities and leave the poorest of the poor in pathetic conditions forever.

When millions of Indians are suffering with various problems across this holy land of India, your President and other ministers are living comfortably in public places. Are you living for ordinary Indians or exploiting the public money for the luxuries of politicians and ministers? A true Indian leader should live in slums among mosquitoes and filth to understand and empathize with their plight like Mother Teresa or Mahatma Gandhi? How many of your MPs and ministers have these qualities? You want to change India with such rogues and dullards around you. For years, Indians are disgusted with the acts and activities of politicians. They stopped believing in their deceitful words. They are accustomed to lies. They are patient enough to bear any kind of physical or mental problems. The politicians before your reign trained, kept and made them so during the last 60 years. How can they believe in you even if you speak the truth? They saw devils and demons ruling India. They can’t trust even God in this condition.

The development of India is not in the hands of persons like you now but in their collective lot. You wish to expand national highways for development of trade and commerce but what if those roads are laid and maintained badly by corrupt contractors and illegal agents. In every corner of India, what you can find immediately without much research or analysis is disorder and disappointment.

Indians strongly believe that India does not develop fast as it happens in the USA or China. They have been experiencing such hard times since independence to India. As they have no many expectations from you, try doing something. We are not discussing India now because it was made thoroughly corrupt and restless for years. You cannot change it rapidly. We are talking about you only because you are a great Indian like Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Even if there won’t be improvement in our lives because of you becoming the prime minister of India, we are, at least, happy thinking that a gentleman and challenger is ruling India now. We like you and your qualities and not those found in Indians or India now? We are in a pit of desperation and gloom. You cannot pull us out of it. A political system, which got ruined over a period of 60 years, cannot be transformed to the better within a few months or weeks.  So, democracy is a big failure in India. Don’t ever praise democracy in Indian format.

Hundreds of idiots are ruining India every day and night making and selling harmful products to educated and uneducated people alike. I am unable to see quality anywhere in anything now except in hope and death. They are selling adulterated milk, wrongly ripened fruits, harmful dishes and drinks…India became the storehouse of all wrong kinds of foods and drinks. Coca Cola and Pepsi are selling quite useless beverages to majority Indians over the years. Can you ban such foods and drinks in India? Every Indian must get the best food and drink only to consume in any corner of the nation, not even one harmful product like cigarette, tobacco powder or dirty snacks. When can you make India so? Lakhs of cases are pending at various courts of law in India? When can you get them cleared? In India, victims are dying faster than lawyers and judges. It shows the inefficiency of police and legal systems in India. They treat you like a VIP and me as a worthless guy because I am not the prime minister of India. When all citizens are treated and guided kindly and properly by various government agencies, people can believe in such governments and their governance. Merely talking greatly on a stage on some occasions does not help you develop India. Avoid observing formalities and start changing the realities in our societies and cultures.

Criminals are not scared of the police or legal system in India now because they are in favor of them everywhere. You cannot play all roles to change India fast but you must ensure that everybody plays his or her role perfectly in every part of India. If you can change the fundamental structures and procedures of governance, perhaps, you may be able to change India a little in your present tenure as the prime minister of India. Do your ministers cooperate you in this mission? They are accustomed to bribery and adulteration of systems for years? Do they change immediately for your sake? All states and union territories are neck-deep with huge financial burdens? The heads of these systems are always looking towards the central government for financial assistance? You cannot satisfy all of them donating whatever they ask you for because you cannot print money hugely based on their demands. They have no financial capacity or genuine interest to develop their states or places? India cannot be developed in these circumstances. You cannot inject development and happiness into the lives of Indians when they cannot change to the better at their levels in various places.  Thus you have an ordeal ahead of you. You will remain as a helpless and solitary pedestrian on the path of progress because you alone are dreaming and walking in that direction now!

Political parties survive based on donations and patronage from different business entities and individuals in a nation. Any Indian entrepreneur or individual does not join your political party unless they benefit from it somehow someday. It means you are accepting donations from the worst idiots also in India. Such immoral and illegal rogues only have huge money to donate and satisfy you adequately. You are encouraging such business entities in every part of India. They are the biggest villains in your way of ideals and achievements. If you aim at goodness, they spoil it with weapons of badness aimed at you. They are not ready to change. All large scale industries and units are unbelievably corrupt in India. Ordinary people cannot get jobs in them. Most of the temples and other abodes of worship are also corrupt and unholy in India. Everything has a price there, including the service of worship coordinated by a temple priest. It means in India all are doing business now but not service. Can you change the mindsets of these many scoundrels just like that? Then how can you change India rapidly?

In these circumstances, I have a few more points of caution for you. Mind them and lead India bravely.

1. Even the most helpless and poor Indian must be able to live happily in India because this is a holy land and nobody should suffer from lack of food and security. Can you touch the lives of the poorest of the poor?

2. Educational system deteriorated to the worst levels in almost every part of India. Reservations for SC and ST communities largely lead to this crisis. If I am being treated specially like an adopted son from birth to death, why should I bother to learn or teach anything perfectly? The state and central governments look after me everywhere. Since there is no spirit of challenge and competition among these social sects, they are ruining the systems of governance and learning to the most possible extent. They gradually entered all fields of public administration. They are drawing others from their communities to those positions of power and benefits. Those, who have great intelligence and drive to work, are remaining beyond the system because of these reservations. Can you ask these brothers and sisters of you to live independently without depending on reservations at all?

3. Contractors are exploiting public money hugely in almost every part of India. If I am a contractor, I charge 1000 rupees for a minor public work of 200 rupees. You are paying me all that money just because it is public money and not yours. If it is your money, and if you earned it after years of struggle, you would certainly spend it carefully. Public money is not owned by one but many rogues and criminals in India. They transfer that money to other criminals and sinners in society. Politicians are those mediators in India now. I release any amount of money even for a worthless project if the contractor is my brother or cousin. How can you control outflow of huge public money this way? Have you courage and efficacy to regulate this mighty kingdom of contractors in India?

4. God is in me. I should not search for God outside. Check how many temples are there in India now? Millions of rogues are frequenting these abodes of worship every day and night? Why should I go to Tirupati to worship Lord Venkateshwara there only if I know that God is everywhere and He can bless me from any place if I always remain virtuous? We are preparing sinners building these many temples every year. They are going to temples for formality sake. If I regularly go to a temple, I get the image of a pious person. If I often go to a brothel, I get the image of a sinner. This is how Indians are attributing qualities to others now in India? They assess and appreciate anything looking at its surface level. They don’t think deeply about anything. They have no time to think about real issues and try to resolve them but only to criticize others always! They are lazy and shallow sinners at their level. Their count may be one billion approximately. Are you a wizard to change all of them applying your leadership qualities? When ordinary people do not change, development does not take place anywhere fast. Leaving these many ordinary Indians in their ditches of stupidity and superstitions, how can you change India?

5. In India, what you can find everywhere abundantly is problems and problem makers but not ones interested in resolving them at their level. If there is dirt on my shirt, I wait for my wife to come and clean it because God did not create me to do such mean things but others only. If you advise my wife to change me slowly, she quarrels with you saying ‘Why don’t you tell the same to him directly?’ You don’t/cannot tell many things to me directly for various reasons. So, direct communication is not much possible in India. You know who are causes of corruption and unrest in India but you do not talk with them directly. You ask police, IT or BSF folks to change India mediating in this critical process. They feel “We cannot change India. Modi also cannot change India. Even God cannot change India”. The same is the case with creators of black money also. Why do you ask the folks of Swiss banks to return that black money but not your rich Indians to take back that money and put it in your bag of idealism directly? Tell them that you want to develop India and so their black money is also needed in this mission. If you can change them with your words or acts, you can certainly change India.

Ordinary people do not listen to you because they are ignorant and innocent. Educated and rich ones also don’t listen to you because they are very intelligent and manipulative. It means nobody is willing to change readily now in India even after you became the prime minister of India. It means only you are treating Parliament as a holy piece of land but not I or other Indians like me. Since you became prime minister and can enjoy various privileges in that position, you are blissful now. When we are very happy, even criminals and sinners look like gods and goddesses to us everywhere. Since you frequent to Parliament, those idiots and rogues are appearing like deities to you. It is because of ‘conscious illusion disorder’. When you stop practicing formalities like other prime ministers and presidents, and start experiencing and changing bitter realities, you would start thinking about India, not Gujarat alone. You could change your home state working hard for many years because you know your people to some extent. Can you tackle the rulers and people of all other states and union territories also in that manner as you did in Gujarat?

Questions and doubts expressed by others make us think and act differently. Some of these questions posed to you above are to alert you in this direction. If you find accurate answers to these common questions of many in India at theory level at least, you can jump into practice of it later, slowly.

I respect you as Narendra Modi alone, not as an entity of BJP or Gujarat. BJP or Gujarat did not change you but you changed their images to a great extent being associated with them for long. That is the quality of a true leader. If you can make such leaders in your government and India extensively, perhaps they can help you change India fast.

There are many things to share with you from my end but I cannot do all of it in one go. I may not write to you again because I lost enthusiasm for India and Indians after seeing 90 rogues around 10 virtuous beings. When 10 good Indians are struggling hard to improve India, 90 evil Indians are trying harder to deface and damage it. In this setting, how can I believe that Narendra Modi or I can change India just with a set of virtues in mind and body?

Before concluding, I advise you to shave your beard completely every day and colour your hair black continuously. Many young Indians are living and dying like old people in India. Though you look old considering your bodily age, you are a dynamic and energetic young Indian when I assess your spirit of patriotism and passion for this nation. Your present look of body is not fitting this psychological status and brilliance of your mind. So, you should appear all Indians with a clean shave and coloured black hair hereafter. If you think you are an old and worthless prime minister like Manmohan Singh, without individuality and self-respect of your own, I don’t mind how you look at all.
