CREATIVITY TEST

This afternoon I got a call from a company in Hyderabad. They wanted a Content Writer. The company representative told me by 12:20 PM IST to be in their office before 1:30 PM IST. They sent me their office address through SMS to my phone. Then I was on cot like a lazy fellow resting on a workless day. Dressed up myself fast and rushed there by an auto rickshaw. I was there in their office by 1:00 PM IST itself. They gave me three websites they developed and asked me to edit the content posted on them. I did it in about one hour's time. By 2:00 PM IST the undeclared power cut landed in. She gave me two topics and asked me to write something on them and email it to them by 5:00 PM IST today. I did it by 4:38 PM IST itself. I did not have interest to research much online because it was a test of creativity for them and me also. I wanted to write something on two given topics. I posted those two write-ups below for your consideration and evaluation.

One can’t easily understand what signs mean. Are they human signs or mechanical signs generated by man-made tools and equipment for different purposes? Generally secret and sensitive lovers use sign language to reach their message to the recipient at the other end and it is more in conservative countries like India where parents and society impose and inflict more restrictions and punishments on their innocent children whenever they smell a rat in the character or behavior of their dear ones due to the inevitable impact of attraction between opposite genders in certain age. So, signs between humans can create space or bridge gaps based on what one desires to communicate to the other applying one’s skills of signs. What is the scope of use of signs in the modern-day business and advertising fields and how can one master this branch of human interaction? Generally one is advised to refer an online encyclopedia like Wikipedia or famous search engine like Google to know more about anything about which one knows very little. It is difficult for a novice to write energetically and effectively on any given word or phrase without much familiarity with that branch of knowledge or information. As such, what is written above by me may look irrelevant at times to others if what they expected from me is quite or a little different from what I understood based on what they asked me to do for a purpose? To err is human!
