PRIVATE SCHOOLS

Narayana, Sri Chaithanya, Bhashyam, Krishnaveni, Ravindra Bharathi, Gautham are some noted private school networks in Andhra Pradesh today imparting education to students from 1st standard to 10th standard. There are about 15 such private brand schools in this state doing great business in this field. They recruit all kinds of students and then categorize them into different sections. Intelligent students would be trained by expert teachers toward achieving great ranks and getting through some competitive exams for entering premier institutes like IIT, BITS Pilani. They decide fees and parents pay them happily or helplessly. The founders of these schools are first-rate criminals and sinners in this state and their parents and their supporters, second-class culprits. These rogues turned school education in this state into a huge mess.

Teaching

The role of teachers in these schools is to finish teaching the subject quite in advance and then harassing the students to sit in their classrooms for hours together and rub their lessons with their eyes and minds again and again. It is artificial and commercial. They want ranks. They subject students to any kind of harassment to achieve that goal. Then only they can place attractive ads in print and electronic media during the admission time. Here teachers work like machines and expect their students also to think and behave that way. Resultantly kids are suffering a lot being unable to cope with this pressure daily. They have few holidays even in summer, perhaps three weeks at the most. When the system is automated to harass a section of our budding population, who can improve the lot of Indians? Machines can’t be good human beings. They certainly enter IITs and IIMs but they don’t know how to live as human beings but as businessmen or cheats.

Government

I take Mr. Rosaiah as a superior and admirable gentleman compared to any other nasty chief minister in the history of Andhra Pradesh since independence. He works hard as an individual and tries to bring the best administration into this state but others do not allow him to go successfully on his way because the previous rogues in this state established such systems of politics and administration. If this state is a little bearable today, it is certainly because of this gentleman, visionary and humanitarian. Unfortunately he is working under many pressures now. He is not a criminal like many other celebrity politicians in this state. So, he is unable to reform this state in tune to his expectations and vision. Mr. YSR made this state a mini hell with his brainless and idiotic policies and programs. This gentleman is trying to cope with that hell.

In these circumstances, I don’t think he can exert any control on the school education in this state. Government schools remained as last resorts to poor and ignorant parents and their children in this state long ago. Government job means security and unionism. You can do whatever you like and if anybody warns you a little to change to the better, you come to the roads with placards and slogans. 70% of the teachers working in government schools today in this state neither have required skills nor interest to teach their students well. For them, it is just a secure job. They teach a little for formality sake. Youngsters get married sooner if they get government teacher jobs.

Government is there to formulate rules and regulations minding the welfare and improvement of the school children in a right path. Officers should give permissions only to worthy blokes to start schools and keep checking their standards time to time. Unfortunately it is not happening in this state now. Anybody can start a school anywhere if he has money and influence at many levels or criminal background to some extent. It means school education is a huge business area for anybody with a little money desiring to earn a lot more in an easy and comfortable manner. Dogs and bitches run schools here.

Victims

Students in these private schools are suffering a lot due to the commercial and artificial systems of teaching, evaluation, results and promotion in this state. They are automated little machines of this nation expected to become doctors or engineers at any cost. Their parents sell themselves in the open market if they want more money to achieve it. I knew that almost every famous private school chain in this state is playing with the lives of little students with heavy course material, continuous examinations and constant pressure on them to move more and more ahead to achieve ranks and seats in great institutions.

Few are afraid of the government authorities supposed to regulate these disorders and demerits in the educational system because corruption and immorality play their powerful roles even in this sector. Government intentionally allowed many rogues into this sector to exploit the students and their parents to the maximum possible extent. The primary victims in this hazardous environment are students, those without voice in their formative age. Their parents are also businessmen. A corrupt and inefficient government and commercial parents mean suffering to the related agents. I pity them. I am happy for not being one like them once because I studied for 17 years in government institutions with very little investment. My parents or brothers never asked me anything about my going to those places and progress, if any, at all. I was left like a free bird in an open sky. I studied because others were doing it like me. Those studying in private schools today lost that golden opportunity. They are caged birds and animals craving for freedom and happiness.

Observation

The heads of famous schools as I mentioned above should be hanged publicly because they are spoiling the lives of thousands of innocent and helpless students in the name of ranks, IITs and such other higher goals which should not be injected into the sensitive brains and lives of tender students and their foolish parents. They made education an immoral, corrupt, illogical and irrational system of public exploitation. More businessmen are entering this field every year to grab their share in this lucrative business arena. International school is the tag they need. Investing money to build up or hire huge buildings, recruiting available teachers, appointing a few loyal and brainless supervisors, collecting hugely from the parents of students and thus creating a brand name for their schools soon is their strategy. They bribe anybody in this process. Government authorities mean beggars and lunatics who live on bribes and gifts of these fraudsters.

Parents should not victimize their tender children expecting them to understand and get ready toward achieving lofty goals from their formative age. Voters should elect gentlemen during elections, not pimps and criminals, who live damaging good systems and strengthening corrupt and unethical people and policies for their benefit.

When schools turn into prisons; criminals or victims come out of them. They further ruin the standards and values in their nation. This will be a vicious web and a big threat to India. Then, everybody silent or complacent today about these vital issues of a state suffers silently, privately and hopelessly. The mechanical and artificial governments build old age homes, mental asylums, hospitals and jails for them. Children that did not enjoy their childhood can’t evolve into good individuals or citizens later.
