NO MONEY

I ran out of money recently. It was because I did not join any job after I left my latest job with the Thoran Technologies as a Content Writer on 31 October 2008. It does not mean I did not attend interviews at companies in Hyderabad. I kept borrowing money from my familiar ones and other sources as my economy continued to deteriorate day by day. Srijana, my brothers and my parents are disturbed at my not joining any job till today. They think I am not intelligent enough to search for jobs fast and join something at the earliest. In this context, the following is an attempt by me to let you know how one suffers when there is no money and when the circumstances are bad. It may help you understand the state of a man in a given set of testing developments.

LOOKING FOR MONEY

1. Attended an interview at the Apollo Health City, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, on 8 October 2008 for the position of Assistant Manager, Content. They wanted somebody to attend the content work of one of their health advice portals. Dr. Sridevi first interviewed me and informed me what they were expecting from me as part of this job. I went there for the second round of interview on 1 November 2008 and they sent me back saying that the supposed person to interview me was out of place. I attended the same interview on another Saturday that followed. A person asked me the spelling of a country whose spelling was difficult to remember for many. I could not answer it. He found me unsuitable for this position or rather it was his way of eliminating candidates to finalize one simply.

2. I attended interview for the position of Content Writer at Media Travel Technologies Ltd. at IDA Nacharam on 10 October 2008. Two company executives of Hyderabad and a foreign woman of the company interviewed me for five minutes. The white woman asked me to write an article on the tourist destination Maj Orca. They manage reservations and related activities for tourist destinations in the Europe. They did not like the article I emailed them later because what I wrote was the information on this place which I collected from some online resources. They wanted me to become a travel writer immediately. I could not become so.

3. On 16 October, 2008, I got a call from the office of Accenture at Gurgaon. They asked me if I was interested for the position of Content Writer at their office in Bangalore. I replied in the negative because I cannot relocate to other places considering my stay with my wife and others in Hyderabad.

4. On 18 October, 2008, I attended an interview at E-Tell Technologies at Erramanzil for the position of Content Writer. The head of this little company interviewed me. He gave me the topic "Will the Star Shine?" and asked me to write an article on it. I wrote it presenting my views on the probable victory of Telugu film star Chiranjeevi and his becoming the Chief Minister of this state after the coming elections. He liked my article and writing skills but found my salary figure unbearable to him. He asked me if I could join him at a lower salary. I said no.

5. Somewhere during this time, the female HR executive of a software company at Madhapur asked me to write an article on a topic and email it. I did it. She called me back after about two weeks' time and asked me to send that article as if she did not receive it earlier. I sent it again understanding her vision. She did not call me back. Reasons remained unknown to me.

6. I attended an interview at BA Continuum Solutions Private Limited, in the Raheja IT Park building at Madhapur, on 4 November 2008, for the position of Quality Analyst. While I was waiting for this interview process to start, I got a call from a female HR executive of the Deloitte in Hyderabad. She asked me to define page break, section break and comma. I said I cannot because I was not teaching English grammar to others, not reading English grammar books for some purpose or doing some job then where I needed to do such work. Because I could not define them, she found me unsuitable for the position she was to fill. Bank of America support center wanted Quality Analyst in English Language. They wanted somebody that can work with their company for about five to ten years. Otherwise the training and other expenses they incur for a fresh candidate get wasted. I said I had no such long-term objective to work with a company and my goal was to be a writer soon and to be known to many. I did not attempt that test.

7. Sriram, who typed up my 10 personal diaries, has been working with a mediocre ad agency at Mehdipatnam for long. He asked me if I could write content for one of their clients. I went there and talked with his boss, a lady. She gave me raw material related to Vartika Wires Private Limited and develop it into content suitable to be placed on the website of that client, which was under construction then. One day I worked on it and emailed the content to her. There was no response from her for about two weeks. I understood that I chose a wrong person to work for. She did not know even how to communicate with me on what happened and what needs to happen. I told Sriram one day, "I never like to see a person like your boss. Her standards and values as the boss of your ad agency are very pitiable. Never ask me to work for such a person. I can't humiliate myself doing such work for such boss of a company".

8. On 14 November, 2008, I got a call from the trainer of a Spoken English Institute in Hyderabad. She asked me if I was interested in the position of Grammar and Accent Trainer at their institute. I replied in the negative. I have been into writing. One that can write a little on something can't become a spoken English trainer immediately because there is a good opportunity ahead. In fact, I often pity my English grammar and accent skills. I need to recruit some expert in future to train me in these fields. I did not like to spoil the lives of some innocent students there or be humiliated by some intelligent and skillful English speakers better than me coming there to learn more. Teaching English grammar and accent to educated and job-doing youth in a city like Hyderabad is not a joke.

9. One or two asked me to do freelance writing works also to be paid on job to job basis. I had no computer at home, leave alone Internet connection. For me, freelance writing is very boring and testing. It is not as easy as said. Only those that got encouraging environment at home can do such works well. Others work mechanically and create such stuff only in the process. There is much difference between sitting in a company's office amid many colleagues and doing our work passionately and sitting at our home and writing the same mechanically. Freelance writing is a tough test for me. I could not venture into that field during these unhealthy circumstances also around me.

10. Many consulting agencies and employers viewed my CV posted on Naukri.com between October 2008 and December 2008 but few dared even to call me for interview. I rewrote my CV after leaving Thoran representing the real individual in me with some expectations from my employers. It was not the CV of a machine but a human being. No company dared to recruit a human being. I had to change certain portions in my CV in the first week of January 2009. I posted my two formats of CVs toward the end of this blog for your perusal and consideration.

11. On 26 November, 2008, I posted a blog titled "Public Issue" on my blog site seeking external financial help from any of my blog readers subject to some terms and conditions. Nobody commented on this blog because giving money to me looked something odd to many or some other factor which I could not sense perfectly.

12. I attended an interview at the office of Shore Infotech at Madhapur on 28 November 2008 for the position of Quality Analyst. They conducted me a written test on computer where I had to understand financial data and text and make certain changes to it. It looked absurd and difficult for me because I can't understand quite unfamiliar work that fast. I did not do that test well. I was not selected for this position. I would not have joined it even if I was offered the job because I won't be happy doing quite unrelated and testing work.

13. Considering the deterioration of my financial status to the worst level, I pledged two gold bangles of my wife Srijana Devi at the Shivam Road branch of the Muthoot Finance Fin Corp. They lent me 18000 rupees finishing the process in a matter of half an hour. I have to pay about 360 rupees on the 8th of every month until I repay this money and collect the bangles. Srijana's father and maternal grandmother got those bangles made for her about five years ago with their careful savings for that. I pitied my state of affairs but could not find other ways to vitalize myself as a man that needs money to eat and live in Hyderabad.

14. I played an SMS contest telecast on MAA Television channel on the night of 8 December 2008 and the early hours of 9 December 2008. They put 50 grams of gold coin to be won from this contest. I spent about 800 rupees for this contest of SMS. The contest stopped in the morning of 9 December 2009. I wrote a letter to the management of MAA Television channel asking them to pay me two lacs for the fraud they committed. They got a letter written and sent to me by their advocate Hanumantha Rao. I consulted my friend and lawyer. I showed my reply prepared to send to the advocate of the MAA Television channel. He asked me to send it as it was to that lawyer. I argued my case like one of the highly influential and intelligent lawyers and thinkers of this nation in that 8-page letter. One shivers to read such a letter. There was no response from that lawyer or the management of that television channel. My lawyer is going to file a lawsuit against this television channel in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh very soon. Unfortunately, this television channel is partly or fully owned and managed by Telugu film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi. I always wish to clean my house first before commenting about others. Since I love these two film personalities, my reformation schedule starts from this level. If any judge or intellectual in this nation has guts to face me in this case, who might be recruited by these celebrities, I am waiting to show them what I am and what I can do shortly. MAA television channel turned like a circus company recently conducting different kinds of nonsensical contests to attract or cheat television viewers like thieves and dacoits. I like to educate my brother Chiranjeevi, his mentor Allu Arvind and Akkineni Nagarjuna if they wish to face me in this case. I hate filth. If my father and mother represent it, I like to call them bad Indians and I don't hesitate to reform them. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and such folks of this nation have no moral right to play with television viewers. My love for these celebrities continues in other fronts.

15. I submitted my application form for the position of Junior Lecturer in English at the Government Junior Colleges in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on 20 December 2008 at the respective space in the Gandhi Bhavan at Nampally. APPSC conducts these exams. Public Criminal Y S Raja Sekhara Reddy got about 200 notifications issued in about one week's time for different government jobs lying vacant for years in this state during the last week of December 2008. He wanted to attract the unemployed in this state in his style. Nobody received any information on any of these 200 notifications of jobs during the last three months. His Excellency Raja Sekhara knows that it would be the responsibility of the next state government to conduct these exams and fill these jobs. He left not a single avenue to misguide people of any kind before elections to gain their trust. In the history of Andhra Pradesh, after independence to India, I consider Y S Raja Sekhara Reddy the ultimate public criminal who cheated maximum number of helpless people in this state in every imaginable way possible. He got billions of rupees and assets transferred to his son and other closer ones in politics and business using his political power during the last five years in this state. He tried to suppress any voice that questioned his anarchy and barbarism. Dailies wrote highly reliable news items almost every day about his atrocities in this state. He cared nothing. If an innocent and spoilt child is assigned great power for the first time in his life, he does not know how to use it. Raja became such a reckless and adamant child in this state during these five years. He is now talking nonsense addressing gathered sheep in some places during his election campaign. I never imagined that democracy in this state can be degraded to such pitiable state under his rule. Personally I don't have any grudge or hatred against him. As an administrator and ruler at state level, he is a big failure and Sonia Gandhi could never blame him for whatever he did. She is safe and happy in New Delhi. What can such celebrity do if anarchy and unrest are there in our state? I have been thus fooled by this great Raja of this state applying for a job notified by his government. I regret it.

16. On 24 December, 2008, the HR executive of a night shift company asked me if I was interested in the position of editor with their firm. I said yes. He did not like my CV. He told me to delete some sections in my CV and send it back. I deleted those sections where I presented my choices as a jobholder from my prospective employers. They wanted a machine. I presented my CV that way. He did not take that process further. I could not know why.

17. On 5 February, 2009, Sunil K Poolani of Frog Books in Mumbai agreed to publish my book of short stories subject to some terms and conditions. He said that I have to pay him 1,25,000 rupees as my contribution to bring out that book. I did not find his proposal unjustifiable. He can't take risk with a new and unknown fellow's stories. I started trying to get this money. This process is currently under way. One of my well-wishers agreed to fund my publications (about 12 in a row, one after the other) on a legal contract basis whereby I need to pay back my investors after getting money from the sale of these books.

18. I attended an interview at the office of the Hi Caliber IT Solutions at Himayat Nagar on 6 February 2009 for the position of Content Writer. They did not find me suitable for that position after interacting with me for ten minutes as part of the interview. Perhaps they did not like my goal of becoming a writer soon stopping to work with their company on a long-term perspective. They said no social reformer can change Indians or India.

19. I attended an interview at the office of Deloitte near Gachibowli on 3 March 2009. They liked my writing skills and called for Technical Interview after one week's time. World-famous writers and critics Prasad and Khurana, heading this section of work at Deloitte, interviewed me for five minutes. Mr. Prasad told me during the interview, "We should do business using our brain, not heart". Mr. Khurana added his insights also. They did not find me suitable for this position after their interaction with me for ten minutes. Perhaps they sensed that I work with my heart, not my brain. I felt like saying to them, had I chance, "World-famous fucker Ramalinga Raju of Satyam Computers headed his company using his brain only, not heart. Check where he is now. Fuckers like you sitting comfortably at companies like Deloitte have guts to talk with me because you are in a position of authority. If you come outside and try to assess my skills openly and fairly, I would allow the world to know what you are and what I am. You have no moral authority to interview me like an intellectual and critic of this nation because you are working with one of the companies that runs using brand image, not ethics or any such standards. It is because of the decisions and policies of fools and idiots like you that use brains while comfortable and heart when pitiable, the world economy is like this today. You know how to earn money cheating others, not serving them fairly and honestly. Such lunatics are teaching lessons to me because I came to you looking for a job". If I could not do it that day, I would do it in future as a writer with published works. Then, these fuckers Prasad and Khurana would certainly know whom they interviewed once. It is unfortunate that machines are heading many departments in famous companies today in India and abroad. Machines automate human machines working under them. This is the corporate culture in India today and they are teaching me lessons.

20. I went to the office of Bodhtree at Prakash Nagar on 25 March 2009. I got a call from the HR executive of Pressmart and so I went there. I was infuriated as soon as I discovered that it was the office of Bodhtree because they humiliated me once in 2007 conducting two rounds of interview and ultimately remaining calm without informing me anything until I called them back. I rushed back to my place and typed out a four-page letter and emailed it to the concerning HR executive asking her to reach it to the management of the company. There was no response from them. I asked them to file a criminal or civil case against me at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh or the Supreme Court of India so that I would have got an opportunity to blast the bloody companies in India and their cruel and cheating HR policies. They did not like to face me.

21. I went to the office of Thomson Reuters in the building of iLabs near Durgam Cheruvu in Madhapur on 1 April 2009 on the reference and insistence of Ram Kiran of Ikya job consultancy. They are conducting selection process for the positions of Level 1 and Level 2 Publishing Specialist at their company. They are soon to start Legal Wing of Publishing. The employees finalized have to proofread, edit and finalize legal documents and related work received from the US market to help the US lawyers do their work better. Richa Patnaik, the Recruitment Executive here, explained us how to do the three kinds of written test to be qualified for the second round of the selection process. I could not manage to remember it. I liked her superb communication skills and high levels of patience to recruit a number of candidates for such testing positions. They pay well and it is going to be a five-day work week. I came out of the room after she stopped explaining how to do the test saying that I was not the right person to clear that test or do such a job. I don't enjoy that job at all because I am nowhere related to the US law and the related work. I will die as a writer with passion for this world if I join such jobs. I know that I am in a hell now and I need a job but I could not join such a job to do it like 100% disheartened, disturbed and automated machine. Richa Patnaik is one of the greatest employees of an MNC I have seen so far. She played with English.

BORROWING MONEY AND MORE

1. 18000 rupees from the Muthoot Finance pledging the gold bangles of my innocent wife.

2. My cousin Kiran lent me 5000 rupees understanding my plight.

3. My eldest brother Srinivasa Raju donated me 5000 rupees pitying me.

4. My cousin Murali lent me 5000 rupees observing my deteriorating situation.

5. On the last day of March 2009, my cousin Vasu deposited 10000 rupees to my Axis Bank account upon my request to help me.

6. My father-in-law gave me 5000 rupees pledging the gold chain of his daughter at some gold merchant in Tuni.

7. My brother-in-law Vamsy started working as a helper at a Gift Store in Karkhana for 50 rupees for half day after his ITI time and for 100 rupees on holidays. He dropped newspapers till the last day of March 2009 to earn 400 rupees a month. I could not ask him to stop it because I did not have money to give him.

8. I lost my Reliance cellular phone on 2 April 2009 around 4:00 PM at a general store. I bought three items and returned home forgetting the phone at the store. I rushed there in five minutes' time. Somebody already picked it. When we called to that number from another phone, he or she or they switched it off. I lodged a complaint at the police station in Karkhana. Rushed to the Reliance Web World near the Passport Office in Secunderabad and bought a new SIM card with the same number. I bought a new Reliance phone for 1300 rupees on 3 April 2009. I have about 300 details of different sorts in my lost phone. They did not bother to return it to me. This is the society we are living in. This is the culture our politicians, economists and cricket players are injecting into our blood. Let's celebrate it. Let's make Y S Raja Sekhara Reddy the Chief Manager of this team of individuals and visionaries in this state. He believes that this state is shining like never before with huge amounts of development he injected into this state.

9. I did not like to go to my father to beg for money because it would be my death as an individual.

10. Now I am thinking on whom to depend for my next phase of borrowing.

INSIGHTS

1. Companies work for profits, not for humanitarian causes. As the intellectual Prasad of the Deloitte put it, business must be done using brains, not hearts. A company must be/would be ready to degrade to any mean level to present wrong accounts to the right people. They hire big four auditing firms to present their statistics in a highly misguiding but profitable manner. Ramalinga Raju of Satyam Computers has been innocent to accept his guilt. Other companies took this opportunity to be cautious and more strategic. Such companies don't find employees like me suitable to work with them.

2. People pity for a while if somebody committed suicide owing to his pressing and chasing financial problems. If the same person goes to others asking for money, they simply say, "Don't come to me like a beggar". When I recently contacted the noted Telugu writer Yandamoori Veerendranath to see if he could help me bring out my book assisting me financially, he replied, "You are begging. Nobody buys your books. You need not come to my house also even if you admire me as a writer. I have no time. I am happy now".

3. Highest amounts of money and other assets are with fraudulent politicians, manipulative and self-centered entrepreneurs of different scales, immoral celebrities, unproductive and silly cricket celebrities and other similar celebrities of sports arena in India today. The other source of highest levels of black money from Indians is the Swiss Bank. A rough estimate puts that there are about 75 lakh crores of rupees with the Swiss Bank deposited by Indians. Some of these billionaires die even without telling anybody the secret code of their accounts with this bank whereas millions of Indians suffer due to hunger, thirst and such many difficulties in their lives as long as they live in India. We say that we have a great culture as Indians. Then why are we leaving our rich fools to die with bundles of disused money and other assets and the helpless in pathetic conditions. Majority Indians are poor and pathetic even to this date.

4. A man of self-respect, standards and values also needs to become a beggar in a bad state where vice is appreciated and virtue is suppressed or ignored. I turned a decent beggar recently to survive because if I commit suicide, busy people of India have no time or interest to pity me also because many are dying in this nation daily for various reasons of pain and poverty. Politicians are for power. Entrepreneurs are for money. Celebrities are for fame and show business. Nobody is bothered about the helpless and the poor in this nation as long as they are alive. If they die in public places, the government announces some compensation. If they die in other places or killed by criminals or diseases or accidents or natural calamities or man-made sins or crimes, they are just news items in dailies and "Breaking News" 24/7 television channels.

5. India is no more a safe and secure nation for the sensitive and sensible Indians that choose to live on the principles of honesty, fairness, idealism, softness and values. India is for loafers, cheaters, dacoits and criminals that know how to earn money in any way and spend it in any manner they find interesting and crazy. Smoking, drinking, luxuries and liberal sex are just a little segment of their enjoyment world. They are our leaders and celebrities preaching values and standards to us on various platforms. Cricket and the related celebrities and the stakeholders are the contributors to the development and peace of this nation now. This is why every Indian finds it as a matter of prestige to discuss or watch cricket or related celebrities. Burning issues would always be there if we bother to notice or talk about them. We must stop looking at them to uproot these evils from this land. If we close eyes when nearing a beggar, there won't be poverty or pain in this nation. This must be the course of action of the affluent and wise Indians today.

6. In India, to get a great job fast, one must learn how to write one's CV in tune to the expectations of one's prospective employer at hand, not reflecting the real skills and experiences one possesses. It is a matter of selling ourselves strategically, not honestly. Companies recruit one at any time and ask one to leave at any time. Similarly employees leave a company as soon as they find another better job. Only money, comforts and opportunities matter here, nothing else. Only fools and lunatics must worry about values and standards in the employment market today in India. When the society is bad, we must turn villains to survive there. India shows dustbins for social reformers to live in.

7. Idiots and fools manage, fuel and encourage stock market to create great entrepreneurs and companies in this nation. Stock market would always be volatile because those involved in it are interested in gambling and easy money, not honesty or purity in what they think and do. Stock market developments in a given nation show how many fools and idiots are living in that nation depending on false dreams and fake promises. If the US affected, the world would be affected because beggars across the world depend on this super power. They don't want self-reliance or self-respect. They are happy to go to the US and live there forever happily if something bad or ugly happens or appears in their nation, but not willing to reform or beautify their nation like the US. When there is ready-made heaven before us, what's the use of cleansing our hell. Let's shift our loyalties and interests to the heaven built by others elsewhere. We must not strain ourselves to build a heavenly India because we know that it is hell and only idiots, fools and sinners have to/prefer to live there always.

8. Let's be happy as long as we are not affected at personal level. If something wrong or unexpected happens tomorrow, we have any way the last resort "suicide". We live happily for 90 days not thinking or working for the right things and die afterwards silently. India is a nation of filth, sinners, criminals and cheaters. The good must learn to respect the mighty and live somehow. The cruel and the influential know how to lead this nation toward gloom and void.

DESIRED RECRUITMENT PROCESS

I am not interested in any company that takes more than one day to finish the recruitment process. I dislike multiple rounds of interview or selection process because I have no time to attend all that fuss. The concerning HR executive or the other authorized representative of the company must inform me the result within four days’ time after the selection process and if they fail to do it, I assume that I was not selected for some reasons. They need not contact me later. I never call back to know whether I am selected or not for a particular position because my profile does not demand it. I am a dignified citizen of India. I consider it discourteous calling back a company to enquire about my status of recruitment.

WHO AM I?

I am a social reformer, dreamer, visionary, blogger and writer at the core. I am working to prove my abilities to the world soon. Since I need money for survival, I remain a jobholder with some company until I establish myself as a full-fledged writer. I like and practice the principle of time management. My strengths are creativity and idealism. My weaknesses are useless pity for the underprivileged and ambition to make the impossible possible, fast.

WHAT CAN I DO?

I type fast because I learnt it once. I can write and edit fast. I am familiarized substantially with Internet. Writing might be based purely on one’s creativity or through conducting online research for gaining insights on the topic to write on. If you expect a Shakespeare in your company, you are not supposed to interact with him at all because an absolute creative writer does not expect/tolerate others’ interference. If you want an ordinary writer, who depends on external resources of information or guidance, you must not expect the best from him because what is improved through external help can’t be unique and exceptional in a comparative analysis. Liberty means creativity and restrictions and suggestions mean compromise for me. How to use me is left to you. An automated machine can’t produce distinctive things but a liberal and imaginative man can create wonders. I like to work like a man in a company. I don’t feel comfortable with high levels of stress and chasing deadlines every day.

MY INTERESTS

I am a nature lover and utopian. Dreaming to spend most of my time in nature once I become a full-pledged writer. Currently I am living the life of a typical jobholder who regulates his life as per the timings, holidays and leave policies of a company. Listening to classical Telugu cine songs, watching classical Telugu feature films, attending concerts, observing the society from multiple standpoints, visualizing a harmonious and peaceful world are some of my hobbies. I try on my part to do something to achieve such an ideal state of affairs across the world. A fraction of the craziness or love I have for the humanity and the beauty of the world can be traced in the photos and stories I put on my blog site. I don’t have copyright for any of these photos of humans. Few should fight legally with a dreamer, I presume. Ideals and notions of beauty must be shared with all freely, without inhibitions and fear.

GOAL

To challenge the world as a highly influential novelist, social reformer and visionary by 2012.

EXPERIENCE

1. Worked with the ICFAI University Press in Hyderabad as a Sub Editor from 10 December 2003 to 10 April 2006 at a monthly salary of 10,000 rupees. My primary job responsibility was editing the content for various research journals and magazines being published by this press. I edited 130 Research Journals and 4 Magazines during my association with it for 2 Years and 4 Months. The website id of this press is http://www.icfaiuniversitypress.org/

HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH THIS EMPLOYER?

I found it an appreciable employer from many respects. They maintained standards and values in growing up publishing high quality research journals and magazines meeting the demands of the day. I got an opportunity to learn and improve myself as an editor while working with this press.

REASONS FOR LEAVING

It, being a not-for-profit enterprise, could not offer employee benefits as desired by me or many of my colleagues. I should say we used it as a station to get trained and then leave it for better opportunities. I left it for more attractive job and also to attend my personal work of editing for some time.

2. Later I was engaged in editing the content of my 12 books for about a year to be published soon by me. Initiating oneself into the world of book publishing is not an easy job today. I chose to publish my 10 personal diaries and two other books with my other pieces of writing. This demanded to devote my time for this work for a year. Much of this work is still to be processed. I need to do it and publish them as early as possible.

3. Worked with the OMS3 Consulting India Private Limited in Hyderabad as Team Leader for the Writer Team from 27 March 2007 to 5 September 2007 at a monthly salary of 20,000 rupees. It is an Internet Marketing company. My primary responsibility was writing articles, press releases, auto-responder emails and leading the six-member team working under my supervision. Editing and finalizing the articles written by writers in my team, sending daily reports to my immediate supervisors and weekly reports to the CEO of the company was my secondary responsibility. HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH THIS EMPLOYER?

What I enjoyed most with this company was not ever working on a Saturday and Sunday. The only disturbing factor I found in this company was that its HR policies were against the wishes of any reliable employee. To put it simply, one can join this company at any time and might be asked to leave at any time.

REASONS FOR LEAVING

It was a three-month old start-up when I joined this company. In course of time, I came to know that my expectations from this company as an employee did not match their expectations from me as an employer. I resigned one evening, taking that decision after thinking over it for two hours only. Doing some job with some employer compromising at many levels has never been my motive but to do relevant job with a company of standards being honest and sincere to myself first.

4. Worked with the Thoran Technologies & Services Private Limited from 1 February 2008 to 31 October 2008 at Vikrampuri in Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, as a Content Writer at a monthly salary of 25,000 rupees. Updating the content on their two company websites was my primary work there. Rest of the written work I did there was miscellaneous. The website id of this company is http://www.thorantech.com/

HOW WAS IT WORKING WITH THIS EMPLOYER?

The head of this company recruited me not asking me even a single question about my abilities as a writer nor conducting any test for formality sake also. He believed that I can deliver to his expectations. I felt honored and delighted for the kind of trust and respect he showered upon me. During my nine months of association with this company, he told me once or twice only to do something he wants to be done. Rest of the days, it was I that decided and did something that related or benefited to this company to some extent. It was like a bird flying freely in an open and beautiful sky. If I sang something, he said, “Good. Go ahead”. The name of this gentleman was G Srinivasa Rao, the Vice Chairman (Operations), of this company. I can give you his phone number if you want to have a word with him to know about me. I don’t know his version of understanding and presentation about me to you. We worked like two friends, not as an employer and employee, for almost four days a week.

REASONS FOR LEAVING

They had a bit of content writing work for their websites for which they actually needed a freelance writer. Perhaps they could not find one that works as per their wishes and demands sitting with them throughout the work. Freelance writers are such lot. They hardly find time to sit with their clients while they are doing or finalizing a given piece of work. They are not tied down to the responsibilities and sensitivities of a full-time employer associated with a company. Hence, these people recruited me, I presume. They had such work which could be completed in a month’s time if they had also sat with the content writer seriously whenever he wanted their time and inputs but it took us nine months’ time to finish that work. It happened mostly because the management of this company had no time to sit with me when I wanted their participation in the said pieces of work. After eight months, one day, G Srinivasa Rao told me gently, “Perhaps we have no any work to give you now. You can leave us after one month’s time.” I did it formally because I did not like to sit idly there any more because they also did not want it.

MY INTERESTS AND GOALS

I like listening to classical and film music, watching good movies, spending in clean and inspiring parts of nature, writing stories, admiring beauty and understanding human psychology and society from multiple standpoints. My goal is to change the world through the weapon of constructive writing. I am yet to launch myself as a published writer. Discussions and efforts are on. You would see my book in the market some time soon, I presume.

ONLINE PRESENCE

People want to taste something considerable when I tell them I am a writer. I understood this typical human psychology. If you wish to scan a fragment of my creativity and craziness for this world, expressed in casual writing, check my blog site http://virahini.blogspot.com/ . It refreshes you a little. I promise.
