LETTER TO DD NATIONAL

Dear Sir/Madam,

I watched your telecast “Earth Matters” on 1st October 2009 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM IST on DD National. It provided insights and advice on how to understand the causes and effects of Global Warming. The program was good. Sri Mike H Pandey’s anchoring was simple and commendable. However, I have some observations here which you may take notice of and try to change India from the right direction.

Truth

It is a fact that very few watch Doordarshan channels now in India or abroad. Perhaps those that do not have access to other private channels may watch your channel. It is sad to know that the government’s print, radio and television channels have degraded to this pitiable level of viewership today. Today’s Indian youth are after cricket, Coca Cola and such other crazy and unproductive affairs and thoughts. So, a great program on Doordarshan reaches very few targeted youth of this nation. I am a writer, thinker and visionary at my level and on my way of publishing books to bring a good change in India (a great dream in making). I watched this program due to the advice of Sri Mike Pandey in his email to me recently. This is the state of India today.

What to do?

Change politics in this nation today and give life to real democracy wherein the right people rule us and all people choose the right people only during the elections. Today our nation is in the hands of such politicians who always mind their nasty game of winning elections, acquiring power and then trying in the worst ways possible to retain it till the next elections at the center or in the respective states. A real story all of us know. Our policy makers are businessmen at the core. They promote such businesses and lifestyles in this nation which further ruin our societies and environment. Can one Mike Pandey or Pachauri fight for the right causes of this nation when a billion people are after the wrong causes and pursuits? Can we save our earth planet and our future generations from the disasters of global warming, leaving six billion people to think and act like rogues, criminals and idiots, being ruled by nasty, selfish, hypocritical and sinful rulers? This is what is happening in most of the nations of the world today, including India?

The following help us achieve our goals:

1. Ban any industry that produces such foods, drinks and other products which harm people, other living creatures and this earth planet. Ex: Coca Cola, Pepsi, UB Group, Tobacco industries and so on.

2. Ban cricket from India. 95% of Indians think about and play cricket because it is the biggest infection in India today. These cricket lovers do not have time or interest to think about any issue to save India or the world from impending calamities like global warming because they are interested only in cricket and cricket players. Why are we spending millions of rupees when millions of Indians are still suffering from hunger, thirst and poverty in the slums and forest areas? If we want to save India and make it a great nation, our citizens must be engaged in this great mission and it happens when they stop misusing their time on cricket. Mike Pandey looks like a brainless Indian to these cricket fans of India because they are basically pervert and do little constructive and helpful work for the prosperity and peace of this nation. So, until we change our policies and the mindsets of majority Indians, there is no use of a handful of idealists, visionaries and thinkers working for this nation silently. In fact we are humiliating them asking them to work for rogues and idiots of this nation. It is like a few saints building beautiful houses for thieves, rapists, killers, snakes and such many other kinds of poisonous creatures.

3. Our corporate companies made Indian life worse. Their employees work like automated machines and have no time even to enjoy their personal lives. When do they think about safer, peaceful and prosperous India? They have no time or interest even to vote during the elections? This is why we are seeing rogues in our democracy today? When the educated people turn machines, a nation turns hell because the ordinary do not bring great changes in any civilization but just follow what the educated and the wise tell them. See that every Indian employee (both in organized and unorganized sectors) works eight hours a day and only five days a week. Then they start enjoying their lives first and then think about their regional or national issues. When I am not happy at my level, I can’t think and work for others’ welfare and happiness. Money and luxuries are not the real sources of happiness in any nation.

4. Severe punishments must be executed immediately on any Indian that spoils the beauty, peace and environmental health of this nation in any form. If a celebrity like Salman Khan has the terrific taste for shooting animals in a forest for fun sake and if a set of innocent people have to fight against him for about 20 years at our courts of law, what can we do to save this nation and its precious and beautiful assets? 80% of the celebrities in our film, sports and business fields are worse than an ordinary Indian, in thinking and acting for a great India at their level. They live and die for money and false prestige. Their fans too think and behave the same way. So, if you thrash these public rogues first, the trends and lifestyles of our youth change. Look toward Middle East for lessons and insights on how to keep a man like a man always when he forgets to be so. We need not reform criminals and sinners and send them back to the society again to showcase our national prestige when we can’t save the good and help the poor from the threats and difficulties they have.

5. Our legal systems are age-old and they take about 300 years to settle the present cases pending at various courts of law across the nation. I believe the present Chief Justice of India is the right person to settle this issue forever. What can he do for this nation to see that any case is settled within one year’s time in any part of India? If he can’t answer this question, perhaps he does not deserve that position. This is the patriotism level of almost 95% of our higher authorities in this nation today including IAS, IPS and IFS officers. They are working for money and fame but not to develop this nation in the right path. They are the worst section of Indian population today because they are educated, enlightened and privileged sections of our nation but contribute little back to make India a great nation (not super power). We do not want to become a super power in comparison to any nation but a healthy and good nation with self-sufficiency in every imaginary field of human development, living along with other creatures and phenomena. Who can educate these higher level rogues and make them think and work for this nation for the money and luxuries they are enjoying spending our public money, the money of millions of ordinary Indians. When the intelligentsia and idealists of this nation or any nation remain careless about the progress of the nation, it remains a garbage can of fools and trash. This is the state of many states in the world today. India might be the leader of such bad states.

6. Celebrities like APJ Abdul Kalam must not touch the idea of lofty dreams and their achievement by our children today until we reform the mindsets of our parents and policy makers first. Today parents are interested to see their children as engineers or doctors or any such professionals who can earn more money and fame in a short span of time but not good individuals who know what is good or bad for them or for the society or nation they are living in. When profit and loss would be the primary concern of millions of our students and employees, who think and work for this nation, based on the discretion of “good or bad” in everything they do? First prepare the right ground for our children to understand the definition of dream. When a mother eats bad food and spends watching cricket, how can her son or daughter eat good food and think and work for this nation? Change the roots, instead of decorating the branches of the tree, hiding the filth in the ground only. A good example to know about the greatness of our policy makers: Ensuring that no beggar appears in any part of Delhi when the Common Wealth games take place in this nation. This is our fate. Shall we cure our fatal cancer (poverty and begging in India) through medicines (constructive policies and measures to end poverty in this nation) or cover it with a beautiful and scented cloth before our neighbors (foreigners coming to play in this polluted and corrupt nation at many levels). Policies are made by criminals and rogues in this nation today.

7. Check what media is doing today (entertainment and 24-hour news channels). They provide unhealthy entertainment and crave for sensational news at any cost. If there is no a worthy news item, they create such environment to make a highly trivial issue also an unbelievably vital and important issue (Breaking News). When a 100 nasty channels are telecasting such programs, what can Doordarshan do to change this society and nation? Nothing. This is what you have achieved so far. Government’s property means a public dustbin where anybody can throw trash. Its channels mean age-old media outlets which telecast such programs which interest few youth of this nation. A beautiful, immoral and celebrity prostitute can earn more money and fame in this nation today than an ethically strong, visionary, idealist and social reformer or dreamer. Simple formula with great insights and warnings about the future of this nation from my end. Check the content of Bollywood, Tollywood and such other woods in India today. They show us how to live as showy and immoral dogs and bitches in our societies. When millions of our youth and many other sections are after these rogues of the film industry, how can Mike Pandey educate them about environment in India and how to be good Indians at their levels? Mike is an unwanted celebrity in our nation today compared to a cricket player or cinema star or business celebrity. Ask Vijay Mallya how to develop this nation? He advises us to travel in his Kingfisher airplane to see the naked beauty of his models for that special calendar, then drink the famous alcoholic drinks his UB group manufactures and then lead life like him. He is our business celebrity no! Then how can India be changed from the worst to the better in our imaginable future? We must ask Sonia Gandhi also a simple question: “How much money do your Congress party people spend across the nation a year to drag people compulsorily to your highly famous meeting spots and how does it contribute to the development and peace of this nation and from where does your Congress Party get that money?” We must have guts to call a rogue so, even if he or she happens to be in the highest position in a nation or world, if we are determined to change our nation or the world? How many Indians today have this thinking and guts? India is a bloody and nasty and stinking nation today where good people are not respected and encouraged to do their part also for this nation against the foolish, stupid, irrational and criminal thoughts and acts of the bad across the nation. Bad people never stop spoiling our earth planet further day after day. So, rogues and criminals are dictating the fate of our world today. What is use of your educative and informative programs then, when millions of our Indians are on such paths of filth, immorality and irrationality? Sania, Sonia, Sachin, Dhoni and Vijay Mallya do not think and work for this nation but to make more money and fame through sports, politics and business. When idiots in this nation, both children and their elders, keep admiring these people and their unproductive and crazy thoughts and acts, how can I or you change India? These many Indians consider us mentally retarded people or antique living pieces because we are aiming at great goals when all of them are working against us day and night. Can 100 heroes defeat one billion villains and rogues?

8. Standards and values are vital to make a great family, society or nation, when people are involved in that effort. India is in the worst state today in this sphere. We freely distribute condoms to immoral Indians encouraging them to sleep with any number of women, permitting their daughters and wives to choose their partners at their will. Our girls and boys like such female celebrities who reach famous positions exhibiting 80% of their bodies to anybody as part of their modern culture. Our teachers work for higher salaries, not for goals. Our bureaucrats work for more money and fame, not to reform this society and make India a beautiful and strong nation in all fronts. Our media works to earn more money presenting such programs which attract the viewers a great deal, not such programs which make Indians great citizens and individuals. Our corporate hospitals grow in leaps and bounds squeezing money even from the poor dead bodies. Our temples are frequented by such idiots who commit crimes and sins outside and offer a little of their assets to Lord Venkateshwara or such other helpless and innocent deities to get their compulsory approvals for what they did/going to do outside. Our educational systems encourage such courses which bring more money and make people earning machines and enjoying brutes. Our marriages are done based on money and assets a person has; not his character or values. Our businesses are run based on cheating and lying (80% of the ads in our print and electronic media prove it). Amid this fuss and mess of Indian way of life today, why should anybody worry about environment, ecological balance, collective responsibilities and vision for tomorrow?

What I discussed above is a fragment of the larger picture of India today. There is much to think and work on, collectively, when others are aware of it and ready to do it.

I believe I am a true Indian. A true Indian does not run away from his responsibilities and questions from others (rational/irrational and moral/ immoral). He must be available and bold enough to argue his case even before six billion people if he thinks that he is rational and moral in what he is thinking and telling others. I belong to this race of Indians.

Thank you for reading this letter of a true Indian.
