CREATIVITY TEST

This afternoon I got a call from a company in Hyderabad. They wanted a Content Writer. The company representative told me by 12:20 PM IST to be in their office before 1:30 PM IST. They sent me their office address through SMS to my phone. Then I was on cot like a lazy fellow resting on a workless day. Dressed up myself fast and rushed there by an auto rickshaw. I was there in their office by 1:00 PM IST itself. They gave me three websites they developed and asked me to edit the content posted on them. I did it in about one hour's time. By 2:00 PM IST the undeclared power cut landed in. She gave me two topics and asked me to write something on them and email it to them by 5:00 PM IST today. I did it by 4:38 PM IST itself. I did not have interest to research much online because it was a test of creativity for them and me also. I wanted to write something on two given topics. I posted those two write-ups below for your consideration and evaluation.

Psychic Reading

It is believed that human brain is a more powerful machine than a super computer invented by man. God installed a huge amount of data storage, analysis and reuse capacities in our brain that often we question the very existence of God and His abilities to configure human brain and its extraordinary powers. If there are about six billion people in this world, it must be believed that there are trillions of thoughts, feelings, notions, emotions, passions, depressions, visions, pains, joys and such other psychic happenings in the brains of all these different kinds of people in various regions of the world being affected by a number of influencing factors in different seasons of a year. Every man wants to live in the present happily recollecting his past and planning adequately for his immediate and distant future. Man’s wants are infinite but the available resources around him to satisfy them are always limited and quite often unaffordable or inaccessible. This is where human struggle starts to reach the farthest and achieve the most difficult. It is more in people that desire to live uniquely. Making a difference is their choice. Thinking and doing things differently is their approach in their personal or professional lives. In this context, many wish to know how their future unfolds and how they are supposed to be prepared to face it effectively. Reading one’s brain is not that easy but many attempt it and counsel the aspirants based on their needs and urgencies time to time. Tarot reading, numerology, astrology, palmistry are some human efforts to decode the fates of the aspirants and guide them im/properly.

Psychic reading is beyond scientific calculations and explanations in some cases because most of the happenings in one’s life do not happen in a scheduled or logical manner but just like that and often very mysteriously and surprisingly. Chance is the most influencing factor in one’s life and it means anything can happen to anybody at any time. Love, friendship, business, education, religion, family, society, entertainment, employment, enjoyment, admiration, hatred and many such other relationships and entities influence the thoughts, evolutionary process and behavioral tendencies of a given or unknown human being from his/her birth to death. Predicting the unknown following an established process or science and thus trying to face future readily is an ongoing phenomenon in the human world in every age. Man loves to shape his future.

We can’t imagine human life without questions and anxiety to know about future. Professionals of psychic reading help us reduce the pain of our inner self analyzing our life and its course of journey applying a given base of traditional or modern knowledge. Astrologers believe that stars in the sky affect our lives. Numerologists profess that numbers impact our lives. Palmists say that we can read the course of our life observing the lines in our palms. In the modern days, where man is more disturbed about his future, psychic reading and the related professionals across the world occupied more powerful positions in interpreting human destiny and preparing their clients for the future. It is allowing others to read our destiny in their known ways and satisfy our desires or suggest remedies to face the impending dangers in our lives. Fear of the unknown and unexpected encourages many to consult psychic reading professionals. Some consider it cheating and misguiding others for monetary benefits. Whatever the arguments are, man deeply longs to be studied by others and advised on how to live to have a bright future. Psychic reading is a very powerful and pervasive phenomenon in the modern world because the modern man is more disturbed about his future than those in the past. Where there are human desires and suffering, there are remedies and professionals!

Signs Shop

Signs help us exhibit our feelings and desires to others using our eyes and hands or other human organs. It might be to express our love or hatred or comedy to others as the occasion or the situation demands. Traffic signals are also a kind of signs because they help us understand quickly and easily about how, when and where to drive a vehicle like a motor cycle, car or bus. Signs are for education, entertainment or advertising. How to use them depends on our needs and situations.

One can’t easily understand what signs mean. Are they human signs or mechanical signs generated by man-made tools and equipment for different purposes? Some questions and answers given below help one understand more about signs as they are generally understood and applied by ordinary men and women like me.

Why should man use signs when he can communicate properly using his relevant body parts? Perhaps to make others believe that he is different from others.

What is the need of signs in a modern traffic system? Because humans can’t advise and guide other humans while they are driving their vehicles in different kinds of roads in forests, cities, villages and such other highly congested public places, they chose to establish a system of universally understandable and practicable signaling system to avoid vehicle crashes and other dangers aiming at safe and secure driving in unfamiliar places also while traveling along unknown people also. So, signs on roads and railway tracks are to alert and guide the vehicle users in time to avoid accidents.

How can signs bridge gaps or create spaces among familiar or unfamiliar human beings? Generally humans use their eyes, hands, legs, mouth and tongue to express their innermost feelings to others in an endearing, insulting, infuriating or mysterious manner so as to reach their heart to others in a different mode of communication which may or may not be interpreted by others easily to arrive at a conclusive decision as to what one did applying one’s knowledge and skills of signage and one’s desired impact or result on/from the other one. Generally secret and sensitive lovers use sign language to reach their message to the recipient at the other end and it is more in conservative countries like India where parents and society impose and inflict more restrictions and punishments on their innocent children whenever they smell a rat in the character or behavior of their dear ones due to the inevitable impact of attraction between opposite genders in certain age. So, signs between humans can create space or bridge gaps based on what one desires to communicate to the other applying one’s skills of signs. Smiling, waving hand and proactive hugging are universally appreciable and applicable human signs meant to bridge gaps among familiar and unfamiliar humans. Generally many use their facial expressions and hand signs to communicate their sense of fun or anger to others in a private or public place. Madness or love has different shades no!

What is the scope of use of signs in the modern-day business and advertising fields and how can one master this branch of human interaction? Generally one is advised to refer an online encyclopedia like Wikipedia or famous search engine like Google to know more about anything about which one knows very little. It is difficult for a novice to write energetically and effectively on any given word or phrase without much familiarity with that branch of knowledge or information. As such, what is written above by me may look irrelevant at times to others if what they expected from me is quite or a little different from what I understood based on what they asked me to do for a purpose? To err is human!

If Sakshi were my school teacher, her reaction after reading these two arbitrary write-ups would be something as follows, "You are a spoilt boy, completely! You always write this or that about love or such sensitive but big human issue in any topic I assign you. Please consult a psychiatrist. Expressing and feeling love for everything may not be a good sign of a healthy human being at this age of yours. Kid, shall I join you some lunatic asylum? Bring your parents tomorrow!"

CONTEMPLATION

1. What we know in this world is very little but we try to pose as masters in many fields. Ego and genetic ignorance contribute to make us buffoons. The problem is we don't like to live if we understand everything in this world. Ignorance and lies are our assets.

2. Many politicians in India often bark that they sacrifice their lives also for their people. Question any of them if they are interested to undergo "Narco Analysis" publicly so that everybody can clearly understand how much they love their people and motherland.

3. Sex does not have more taste or value than what we have when we eat our favorite food or drink our choice of beverage or see a beautiful place but unfortunately idiotic and nonsensical people think of sex and discuss it more than necessary. It has been such a genetic and culturally transferable bad characteristic of human race.

4. Innocence and blind acceptance from others are mostly loved by many in this world. How many of us really like somebody that questions the rationality or utility of everything we say or one that does not accept anything until he analyzes it from multiple standpoints? This is why few like the presence of intellectuals and visionaries.

5. Understanding and practicing unconditional love toward most of the phenomena and creatures in this world is the most difficult thing. It means loving somebody that calls you a bitch or dog after you have served him or her for years out of generosity. In other words, being in love with snakes and tigers knowing that they may kill you today or tomorrow.

6. If the world is in unrest in some way in almost every age as we could record or discuss, it was mostly because of the thoughts and acts of a select intelligentsia and the related influential people at higher levels. Common people never make history bad on their own.

7. Some fools at the Censor Board of India often advise the folks of the film industry not to show real animals or birds in films because it is harassment for them. They can't advise anybody that eats meat not to do it. Killing animals and birds for food and joy is a big show in the world. When we can stop it altogether, we may be called real humanitarians .

8. The main characteristic of a polluted and dead democracy in a nation is an environment where anybody can do anything as long as he or she knows how to do it and how to escape from it. India today is a big case study for folks in other nations to know how fools misuse democracy. Who are ruling us and who are choosing them? Check both cases!

9. Most of our millionaires and politicians in India would have visited countries like the US many times and found the administration and governance there highly appreciable. None of them ever dreams to change India also like America because they are purely hypocrites and escapists. They move to heaven from hell often, instead of changing hell into heaven working a little hard always. This is the level of patriotism of our influential people at many levels in India. We admire achievers but seldom try to become achievers on our own.

10. Though many of the educated girls and boys in countries like India say that concepts like purity and virginity are outdated and ignorable, when they need to face it, in their personal lives, they badly demand it. How many of them accept their partners acting in a blue film because they are watching some other woman doing the same for them?

11. In the current age, humans developed much love and attachment with pets than humans familiar or unfamiliar to them. It shows that we developed externally a lot in terms of comforts and luxuries but we are very insecure and restless inside. We are great actors today. Our poor forefathers knew very few acting skills in comparison to us today.

12. Love is an abstract notion that makes one very much attracted and attached to a given person, phenomenon or notion for a long course of time. It is a mysterious feeling and experience because nobody knows when it originates, how and why it develops and where and how it dies. Humans generally love one that has more mystery and tragedy.

13. Human life assumes more value because there is inevitable death at the other end. Nobody can foresee when it attacks a creature. It means human life contains a great amount of suspense and mystery. The realization of loss of something makes us love it more than its existence or continuation. Who loved a neighbor like a distant celebrity?!

14. Rationality and logic are inherent and self-explanatory in 99% of the phenomena and events in this world every day and night. This is why human beings are able to live a little sensibly applying their common sense and science in many things they do. God must be the guiding force behind this logic. Some consider it 'supernatural power' for a difference.

14. 99% of the ordinary human beings also know how to make this world 100% peaceful, prosperous and enjoyable but still we live in a state of unrest and pain always because we often think that it is the duty of others to think and act for our happiness, comforts and prosperity. Humans are wise and energetic but they never use them for others.

15. 80% of the money and other highly useful resources meant for the 90% of the good people in this world are in the possession or authority of 10% people who always think and act as bad people, cheating or suppressing others. We admire them as celebrities in different fields. Check the histories of the celebrities in the world, yesterday and today.

These are my random thoughts trying to assess a few odd things and phenomena in this world that directly or indirectly contribute to make us happy or unhappy sometime or the other. There is much in this direction to think and know what is happening around us and why. Thoughts lead us to acts and acts help us to be as what we deserve. Human beings seldom grow in intelligence or kindness for others until they pose many questions to themselves and indulge in a sincere effort to find answers to them.

Criminals and hypocrites think on how to exploit others and grow at their level. Humanitarians and visionaries like scientists and social reformers think and work for the safety, comfort and happiness of others. How many of us belong to the second lot? How many that belong to the first lot are making us unhappy and uncomfortable in many ways?

To become good or bad is in our hands.

To correct the bad collectively or appreciate the good effectively is in our hands.

Those that remain without doing good or bad may be called saints, victims or buffoons.

India is a land with a set of people, not just natural resources.

How is India today is a result of what we made on our own, just like the US or Canada.

Real Indians do many things in their lives with a bit of patriotism and concern for others.

Dummy Indians do many things minding their own interests and priorities.

The choice is ours what to be. Real Indians or dummy?

BLOOD DONATION

Almost everybody reading this blog knows what blood donation is - a healthy human being, when has enough amount of good blood in his or her body, donating part of it, in hygienic conditions, under the guidance of a qualified doctor and the related medical staff. So far I donated my blood four times. Once at my degree college, later at a hospital in Hyderabad when a patient from our community needed blood immediately and twice at the Chiranjeevi Eye & Blood Bank. On 15 November 2008 and on 13 June 2009, I donated blood at the above collection and distribution center in Hyderabad. I earlier heard bad news alleging that unwanted things are happening even at this blood bank. I am not a child to think that Chiranjeevi and his family members are drinking others' blood. Idiots and rogues in politics utilized every opportunity to blame Chiranjeevi during the recent state elections in Andhra Pradesh.

It's a matter of pleasure to donate blood because:

1. Human body is a creation of God and is meant to serve others. Blood is part of our body and donating it minding others' helplessness and needs is undoubtedly a noble act. It is a simple favor we can do to our fellow human beings when we are alive.

2. It shows our growth as a gentle and kind human being when we do it voluntarily without expecting much education or motivation from other quarters. Our satisfaction as a good human being based on the little good thing like this helps us grow more as human beings and serve others even better as far as we can manage.

However, it is unfortunate that many patients and other stakeholders in the manipulative Indian health industry today are suffering a lot due to lack of availability of relevant blood (groups) during their emergencies (operations that need blood to be supplied from outside immediately).

Educated youth have to take this initiative forward and guide their friends and relatives to donate blood voluntarily. Blood is plenty in India like the water we have in our rivers and oceans but very few know that they can donate blood to help others in time. Superstitions rule the lives of many Indians even to this date. Let them know that donating blood does not harm anybody but it helps us in many ways. It is not enough if you are a good human being but you must make a few others also good human beings with your constructive thoughts and ideal acts. Better late than never.

It is quite coincidence that tomorrow happens to be the World Blood Donor Day. I knew it when I was interacting with the PRO and Donor Counselor Ms. Sridevi at Chiranjeevi Eye & Blood Bank at Banjara Hills. This executive looked beautiful and endearing. She spoke with me and my brother-in-law Vamsy for about five minutes explaining me the benefits and merits of donating blood. I liked her skills and manners and her enthusiasm to guide others to fulfill the duties of her job.

I introduced 18-year old Vamsy today to the tradition of a noble human act to serve the contemporary society - Donating Blood Voluntarily. I like to donate my blood once for every three months hereafter at this center as long as I continue to stay in this city and at other similar centers if I move to other places. I knew when I was born but I don't know when I die. Everyday is precious to me. The realization that I could help somebody else a little helps me become better as a human being.

It is also a matter of happiness to me that the reporters of TV 9 Telugu came to this center when I was donating blood along with a few others. When the fellow was moving around me capturing the scene to telecast it on their TV channel tomorrow, I told him that my name is also Chiranjeevi. He remembered me and scheduled a little comment with me as I woke up from the stretcher after donating the blood. He asked me to talk a little about the act of blood donation. He gave me a little input as to what I should speak. I felt it as a golden opportunity because every simple human being initially likes to see his face on a television channel talking something good about a noble cause. It was first time for me to talk a little before the persons of electronic media.

I spoke out something similar to the following with the TV 9 people this morning: "Paropakaaraardha Midham Sareeram" say our elders. Human body is meant to serve others. Blood is part of our body which we can donate happily once for every three months as long as we are healthy and capable enough to donate our blood. Educated youth must come forward to participate in this noble act voluntarily and spread this message among their near and dear ones. Such massive movement across the nation helps us save the lives of a few patients and other stakeholders when they badly need blood. It gives us a feeling of satisfaction and social service. It helps us become and continue to be good human beings".

My brother-in-law Vamsy told me after my little talk with the TV agents, "It would be telecast tomorrow on TV 9. Let's watch it". It may be telecast from tomorrow morning on TV 9 or it may not be telecast at all if the editor deleted my part of the input. I would be happy with the both.

I am feeling happy today to know that I could donate my blood for the second time at my dear Brother Chiranjeevi's charity unit. Chiranjeevi might not have been a considerable victor in politics as we witnessed it recently but his endeavor to serve the society this way is something I always appreciate. I wanted to reach my best wishes and gratitude to this gentleman this way - acting for a noble cause than talking or writing about it more than enough.

I request my "earthly goddesses" Swagata, Deepthi, Sakshi and others reading this blog to take this movement forward at their end and help others a little. If you found quoted phrase unacceptable in the above sentence, I request you to file a big lawsuit against me in the Supreme Court of India. I have much to talk with you over there. Who hears me if I talk with you in some dark corner of India. I have no time or interest for such minor tasks.

Donate Blood.
Save Others.
Be Good Humans.
God blesses us.
