DEAR SISIR

Dear Sisir,

It was one year ago, on 17 July 2011, by 10:30 a.m., you were born into this material world as a beautiful creature. You left us by 4:00 p.m. on 25 September, 2011. You planned and executed your short stay perfectly. It must be part of your Karmic schedule. Souls take different births and desert those material abodes of existence as per their destiny. I don’t know when and how a soul starts and ends its journey. It’s a mystery of occurrences devised and directed by God. I am playing a nominal role in this universe of many wonders and puzzles.

I have been observing many births and deaths around me every day but not worrying much about them because I am selfish as a materialist. I always think about those that belong to me closely. I felt blissful seeing your beauty because I have been an admirer of beauty for long. Later I understood that you visited me to teach me a lesson. Humans understand the essence of this life better when they are filled with remorse and pain than with comforts and happiness. I wanted to see you as a healthy, beautiful and successful creature growing up towards a perfect human being. This is typical spirit of millions of parents in this material world. They know that nothing is permanent in this world but develop a deep network of relationships and attachments with many phenomena in this world. They suffer a lot when death approaches them to separate them from all those material bonds. Death remained as the biggest challenge to humanity because they cannot win it. It defeats them always.

I believe that those with a heavy load of sins committed in their previous births live longer and undergo different phases of life with pain and suffering. Great souls live shorter and detach themselves from these material attachments quickly. It’s part of their evolution from ignorance to intelligence and temporary happiness to permanent bliss. Death is like leaving an old set of clothes and wearing a new one for spiritualists. Materialists also know this truth but they cannot withstand the pain of loss occurring in their lives this way.

How and when does a soul decide to take a birth? Can it choose its place of birth based on its Karma? Where does a soul go soon after deserting its material body? Is there a God or supernatural power supervising the schedules of millions of souls in this universe? Where does He live? How does He appear? Why can’t ordinary human beings understand the mystery of this universe? Why does God remain intangible and inaccessible to creatures in this universe? Who is managing the process of rotation of earth planet continuously and its simultaneous run around sun? Why the availability of oxygen only up to a point of distance in atmosphere? How are trees bearing flowers and fruit perfectly depending on their seasons every year?

Sensitive and helpless humans encounter different questions in their lives. They don’t get reliable and comprehensible answers to many of those questions, which help them understand the secrets of life and death. Ignorance makes man foolish and selfish. We love many things and creatures deeply ignoring the fact that they desert us soon. We develop different kinds of qualities, emotions and passions thinking and acting selfishly towards others. We think we are different from others. The fact is all are equal in this universe. Pain and suffering are inseparable elements of life on this earth. No creature is happy here. Nobody knows where he goes after death.

How can I express my sense of loss and pain caused due to your departure from this world earlier than visualized? I cried on the day of your departure. I did not cry for you afterwards because it must be the role of a creature, who partly understood the reality of births and deaths in this abode. As a spiritualist, one should not develop bond with anybody or anything strongly in this world. As a materialist, one cannot live meaningfully without developing deep bonds with many things in this universe. When I think that I don’t belong to anything here, I cannot love or hate anything. It’s a dull life with zero passion for entities and phenomena of this material world. Such life looks boring to God. So, He makes man crave for many things in this world. They struggle a lot for many possessions and attractions in their material lives. I took you like a jewel in my material life. I did not expect you to desert me that early. I don’t know about our short or long relationship as souls. When and where did we live closely earlier as bodies of passion and emotion? Where did we part? When do we meet again?

I finalized an inspiring name for you. I dreamt of your glorious life ahead of my material existence also. Man plans for 100 years for his children. The bond between parents and their children cannot be defined and described by anybody. I don’t know why parents love their children that deeply. They do anything for them irrationally and illogically. This phenomenon is more in India. Indians live and die for their children. They think and plan a lot for them throughout their lives. This is pure selfishness and foolishness. Such selfish and foolish creatures realize one day that nobody is permanent in this world. They sit around their dead bodies and cry a lot. They know that the value of a body without a soul in it is zero. We must move the lifeless entity to graveyard. Man chooses to suffer continuously believing in lies and shadows around him. What are you thinking about me understanding me from this perspective of an ordinary human being? In which form are you living now? Where are you now?

Life is like an interesting drama with talented artistes and attractive setting all around. Some are consuming alcohol to celebrate it. Some are dancing madly to beautify it. Some are neglecting it without interest in it. One without interest in one’s life does not die immediately despite his desire for it. One with deep attachments with many does not live long despite his choice for it. Life and death occur beyond our control. We must play our role between our birth and death. For the soul, inside the body, it’s an opportunity to grow spiritually and detest this cycle of births and deaths. It must crave for birthlessness and unity with God. Sinners love material world and keep suffering in it taking a number of births and deaths. Saints love God and spend in His blissful world. You know these truths. You left me early to make me realize these truths better. You played the role of a guest in my life. You are such a guest in my life whom I always remember. Your life in relation to my material body may be short but my memories attached to that small phase of your material existence are deeper and strong.

Many creatures are suffering deeply in this world recollecting the deaths of their dearest ones. Some are committing suicides due to their failures in love and such other material relationships. I wonder to observe the acts of these innocent creatures. We take births to undergo pains related to our souls. Life means pain, struggle and suffering. We toil to make it happy artificially. When the essence of life on this earth is gloom, how can we turn it into heaven? We should not terminate our life by choice because we should live our Karma completely in every body we take as per our schedule. It’s like spending our money saved in our bank account. If we deposited much, we can withdraw more. If we have a little only in it, we can take back that much only. We should not close our account through our death but by transactions with our bank. We should live every phase of our life to clear the burdens of our soul. We can postpone the burden of our soul, but cannot erase it. It follows us.

Natural death is part of our natural life. Suicide is an artificial act and a heinous crime from the perspective of God. He expects every creature to play its destined role completely in this world. He has no special love or hatred towards any creature in this universe. He ensures that every creature is living and dying according to its Karma. He is like an ideal bank manager. He does not give you, which does not belong to you, and He does not take, which belongs to you. You must spend your Karma. He manages this process as an impartial entity. We should not blame God for anything happening in our life because He is not responsible for it but we. It is the lesson you taught me.

My dear son, I have your photos and videos with me. I see them now and then to recollect the little past you had with us. My sense of loss keeps increasing in course of time. Pain in heart is like wine in a bottle. Its depth, value and essence keep improving along with the age of creature but never decrease. It’s my role to suffer thinking about you. I believe that you took another birth somewhere. Many souls are in this process. I believe that you are also one of such souls. Some have admirable past accounts. Some have pitiable spiritual accounts. Every soul must live as per the nature of its account. We cannot steal anything from other accounts nor lend part of ours to others. God is an omnipresent and omnipotent accounts manager. We cannot cheat and misguide Him.

I love you Sisir Kiran Varma. I love your beauty. I like your birth and the little role of existence with us. You visited and deserted us in such a way that nobody can criticize you. You kept everything plain and easily comprehensible before us. Your mother cannot write a letter like me. She does not know about the essence of human life as deeply as me. Your brother Anand Sagar Varma is not as intelligent and visionary as you. I am sending you love and best wishes on behalf of them also.

With tears,

Your former father,
Datla Chiranjeevi Raju.

RELIANCE NETCONNECT

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this email to you to complain against the inefficient, defective, careless and immoral business services of the following business associate of Reliance Communications.

Address and other details of your service agent against whom I am complaining to you:

B Butchi Raju,
Local Business Associate,
Reliance Communications.
Sandil Enterprises,
Yanamala Shopping Complex,
Gaddi Market, Shop No.1-3,
Tuni-533 401, East Godavari District,
Andhra Pradesh.
Cellphone No: 9394023888.

Complaint 1

Recently I paid my postpaid Reliance bill at this service center believing that they would do it as per the standards of Reliance Communications. They did not do it in time. Later I got a call from the Reliance executives informing me to pay the bill. Because these folks did not credit my amount of bill to Reliance network in time, I had to be called up by others. I did not like it because I have been using Reliance Postpaid connection for the last five years and I always paid my bills in time. Because of the inefficient and immoral business activities of this idiot, I had to be considered as a bad customer of Reliance Communications. I am a writer and idealist of high standards. I don't like somebody informing me to do something because I teach the world morals and standards of life.

Complaint 2

I bought a Reliance Netconnect USB Modem (India's superfast Wireless Broadband with Speed up to 3.1 Mbps) from this idiot in Tuni on 22 December, 2011, for 1500 rupees. As per the literature given on the cover carrying this device and the promise of this agent, I must get 3.1 Mbps speed at least once a day or night but it never happened so far. My Netconnect speed never went beyond 100 Kbps. When I contacted Butchiraju about it, he said that it would be like that only and he has no time to answer it or check it at my home through field visit. He talked with me like a mentally retarded rogue when I was talking with him about this issue of lowest Internet speed at my end at home all the day and night.

Based on the above complaints, the essence of my complaints can be summarized as follows, for which I require immediate disciplinary action against him and his business unit in Tuni.

1. Butchiraju is not a capable person to deal properly with Reliance Communications customers. He is not working well with customers in terms of services related to postpaid bills and Netconnect.

2. I was deeply insulted due to his careless, vulgar and immoral talk and behavior towards me so far. Since Reliance Communications authorized such a worthless fellow to deal with me, an honorable citizen and individual of this nation, and a customer of Reliance Communications for the last five years, I am planning to file a case against Reliance Communications at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to demand a compensation of 10 lac rupees.

3. The franchise/trade license accorded to Butchi Raju from Reliance Communications for Tuni area must be cancelled immediately and another capable and intelligent person must be recruited for this crucial position. Many educated and uneducated customers of Reliance Communications cannot complain to the respective authorities in all cases like mine because it is not possible for them in reality but the fact is he tortures and insults many Reliance customers if he is not removed from this position.

4. Butchiraju of Sandil Enterprises must come to me along with a high level Reliance Communications executive and apologize for what he did towards me so far representing Reliance  Communications. For me Reliance Communications means Anil Ambani but not Butchiraju and so I expect Reliance Communications to follow international standards in terms of customer service.

5. An authorized and authoritative representative of Reliance Communications must come to my home and ensure that I am receiving 3.1 Mbps Internet speed through this wireless broadband connection. If they fail to do so, I will proceed legally against Reliance Communications. Butchiraju may be a brainless idiot in this area but what are the folks of Reliance Communications doing at top level. Licenses to represent Reliance Communications must not be given to inefficient, immoral and dirty rogues of India like Butchiraju. He does not know the difference between Kbps and Mbps also and so he was arguing with me like a mentally retarded person, in this regard.

If I fail to receive proper reply, reaction and service from you in this regard, both by email immediately, and through field visit to redress these issues, within the earliest possible time, I will deal with you through my advocate. Reliance Communications is not authorized to play with the lives of customers like this. You will understand this fact when I meet you at that level.

I do not like courtesy replies from you but legally sufficient and morally substantial complaint resolution action on field.

Since I am living in a democratic country and as a sensible and sensitive citizen of India I am supposed to redress issues peacefully, I am sending you this email. If I have to behave like a radical to change this society and idiots like Butchiraju, I think I must kill him for the silent crimes he is committing in Tuni representing Reliance Communications.

I sent this complaint to netconnect.broadband@relianceada.com on 25 December, 2011. I got some automated replies from them. One or two partly personalized emails were there. Nobody contacted me so far to resolve this issue. When I checked online for other reliable sources to get this problem resolved, there was almost nothing I could do. I called one of their executives but she told me to contact somebody else. I checked the local Reliance Communicatons phone numbers but none of them is functioning.

These are the standards of services Mr. Anil Ambani is providing to Indians. This is why I call him a dirty rogue of India. When he does not have ethics, he does every kind of business in India but without quality and reliability. I am supposed to send emails, call folks at different levels, go through a series of complaint redressal procedures and so on for the mistake of taking a Reliance Netconnect connection.

Shall I kill Anil Ambaini to save India?
Shall I kill Butchiraju because he is essentially a rogue and Reliance chose him?
Shall I contact Manmohan Singh or Sonia Gandhi to get this issue resolved?

If there are Naxalites in India, it is because of businessmen like Anil Ambani. He starts 100 businesses on one day but cannot handle them well later. The victims are Indians.

The fundamental responsibility of Ambani is to learn about ethics and standards instead of running on roads for physique. Otherwise he should close all his business ventures and sleep at home.

When they state 3.1 Mbps broadband speed on their sales cover, they must provide it 100% to every customer and if they cannot do it, they should not get into this business field. From this perspective, I consider Mr. Anil Ambani one of the biggest corporate criminals in India.

How many broadband Internet users in India can complain to relevant authorities when they fail to get promised services from their service providers?

How long can one like me wait to get a solution in cases of this order?

How many can hire advocates to argue cases like this?

How many can go to courts of law in India to settle issues of this nature?

If I am selling a product or service worth even one rupee, I must be morally and legally responsible for the quantity and quality of it to any customer that buys it from me. I must perfectly answer the questions of my customer with patience because I made a promise to him while selling it publicly. It is not happening in India now.

Many are providing mobile communication and Internet supply services in India but almost everybody of them is violating the given promises in the delivery of services. For them, doing business in India means cheating customers publicly. Manmohan always supports their businesses and growth in the world's biggest democracy.

If Anil Ambani or anybody supporting his business ventures in India has guts to talk with me on any platform in India, I am ready for it.

I am not furious just with Anil but many such high level rogues in India. Their customer complaint resolution process is so lengthy, irritating and worthless that we often feel like killing them but how many of us Indians, suffering silently in our places across India, are authorized to do it. They kill us stamping us as criminals, Naxalites or anti-social elements. They never reform high level criminals and sinners but torture those innocent, honest and morally appreciable citizens of India, every day. You can experience it regularly if you are living and moving in any part of India, honestly and decently.

DEPARTURE

On 21 September, 2011, I moved to Visakhapatnam district from Hyderabad along with my household items in a van of our familiar fellow. I left Srijana, Anand and Sisir back in Hyderabad. They decided to come later.

On 25 September, 2011, Srijana found that our baby Sisir Kiran was suffering from  acute pain. He was making an odd sound with the burden of pain he had in him. Then she was staying at the abode of her maternal aunt in Hyderabad.

They first took Sisir to a specialist clinic at Chanda Nagar. He said that Sisir was uncomfortable to breathe normally. He advised Srijana and her uncle Subba Raju to take the baby to Innova Hospital itself.

When Srijana contacted the staff at Innova Hospital, they told her that specialist doctors were away from the hospital as it was a Sunday. Srijana felt helpless and worried against the disturbed state of health of Sisir in her hands.

They hired an ambulance with difficulty and rushed to Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital at Jeedimetla by 11:30. About four cardiologists assembled in the hospital considering the severe health condition of our baby and took him into ICU. They told Srijana that they could do anything if the breathing status of Sisir had improved. They observed him in ICU for about two hours but there was no improvement at all in his breathing. They advised Srijana and her uncle to take the baby to Niloufer Hospital as the last and helpless resort. They did not assure improvement in his health condition. Srijana was already down in her heart.

They admitted Sisir into Niloufer Hospital. The doctors there told Srijana to take the baby out as there were no chances of improvement in his breathing. They expressed helplessness in this regard and hinted the suffering lying ahead.

Srijana and her uncle hired an ambulance to bring the baby to our house at village Peda Gummuluru in Visakhapatnam district on my advice. My brother-in-law Vamsy and Srijana were getting ready to start in this ambulance to our house. When they were getting into this vehicle, Sisir breathed his last around 4:00 PM IST. Vamsy reached me this news.

I cried knowing that the soul of Sisir Kiran departed from this material world after playing its scheduled little role among us. Tears and pain of materialists cannot bring a departed soul back into its deserted body on this earth planet.

Srijana and Vamsy sat by the body of Sisir throughout the journey undergoing that intense pain and sense of loss. It’s agony for Srijana, as the mother of the baby. They reached our house in Peda Gummuluru by 4:00 AM IST on 26 September, 2011. My mother sat in the front yard of our house keeping Sisir in her lap and crying intensely. Our hearts were filled with the burden of pain and suffering.

I saw the face of Sisir. I was deeply hurt scanning the body of my sweetheart. There was no that radiance of beauty and attraction in his face. Lord Krishna took it away from him along with his special soul. A few of our relatives gathered around to witness this atmosphere of pain and tragedy in our home.

I wanted to keep his lifeless material body in a corner of our mango garden by hills near village Ramayyapatnam. It remains as his memory abode as long as this garden belongs to us. My youngest paternal grandfather Narayana Murthy Raju, aged about 80 years, told us that it is against our Hindu tradition.

Narayana Murthy, my father and a few male relatives of us took his material abode to the scheduled place of departures in a corner of our village by 8:30 AM IST. There were a mango tree, well, rice farms about this place. They interred his material abode as per the Hindu tradition. A journey ended abruptly!

That evening I went to that spot along with my friend Ganga Raju and shot that area and place of importance with my digital camera. What is ordinary for others is extraordinary for me because he is vital in my life of experiences and memories.

We put his belongings in a bag. I consider Sisir as a saint with great spiritual background. I believe that souls choose the places of their births and the schedules of their departures from this material world. Great souls do not stay for long in this gloomy and sinful world. They visit this land with a purpose.

Each soul, ordinary or superior, has to take birth as per its Karma. I consider Karma as a long schedule of journeys of a soul through a series of births and deaths in its path towards lifelessness or unity with the supreme soul of God.

For a great soul, births and deaths are like day and night for us. For a materialist like me, the departure of a soul from my garden of dreams and pains is an unforgettable experience and memory of tragedy. Srijana and I live it because it is our destined role. Our psychic attachment with Sisir continues forever.
