TWO LETTERS

Dear Sir/Madam,

I attended for an interview for the position of Content Writer with your company in the first half of December 2007. It is true that employees often apply to some companies based on their ads in job portals like Naukri.com. I realized that it was my blunder only after attending the interview at your company. Please find the attachment to recollect your communication to me earlier in 2007.

A gentleman of your company conducted the first round of interview to me. I don’t know what he thought about himself but I clearly knew what I was even when he was trying to assess my skills as a writer. Your company was looking for a content writer to attend the related tasks for student some website of yours titled something guru or so. Online testing portal or so!!!

This gentleman pulled out a sheet of white paper and asked me to write some email or something imagining some context. I did it. He asked me the salary I was expecting. I asked something and he put it at something. I thought he was the decision maker. He posed partly so.

I waited for about four days and then called back to your HR Executive to know what the hell was happening at your end. Then she slowly and smartly said, “Attend another round of interview on so and so date”. I thought that another intellectual or a noted writer in your company would interview me and let the world know whether I could meet his expectations or not.

When I came to your office for this round of interview also, this honorable HR Executive informed one of your office boys to lead me to the chamber of the second biggest boss in this department who had to interview me at this round of selection process. I walked along with this boy and reached that place. This boss checked my CV remarked a little here and there by his earlier boss and asked me some questions. He told me that he would get back to me later.

I waited for another four or five days and there was no response from your end. When I made a call, your honorable HR Executive informed me humbly, “You are not short-listed”.

I thought like this: Perhaps the two extraordinary writers, critics and social reformers in this office, who were into writing field for about ten years then, found me unsuitable for the position I was interviewed.

I wrote down in my diary that evening, “Bodhtree is one of the mediocre companies in India which does not know how to recruit right candidates for its vacancies. It is one of the ugliest companies in India to which I should never go looking for a job. A man of standards and values can’t/shouldn’t work with a company that works with inefficient human resources”.

After a long time, I got an email from pressmart. I thought this is not at all related to Bodhtree, a company which is in my black list of companies always to be avoided.

Unfortunately I came to your office on 25 March 2009 by 1:30 p.m. because I had to respect the word I gave to Karthika, the present HR Executive in your company. However, I did not like to face another set of inefficient people to get interviewed by them and waste my time and energy.

I sat at your company till 2:00 p.m. and left it because it was the time this wonderful HR Executive set me to come for the interview and she said it as if a great intellectual in this world must be waiting to interview me by this time exactly. She said, when I appeared her outside your office this afternoon, “He is having lunch. I will call you once he is free”.

I don’t know what really Bodhtree achieved so far and how many external agents that are not at all related to this company know about this company till now. Read the following about me:

“I am one of the idealists, intellectuals and critics of international standards who knows how a person, society or company should function in this nation to make this world a better place to live. I write on certain concepts on my blog site and about some other burning issues in this world in my personal diaries. I am bringing out my first book soon to get introduced myself to readers in this nation and abroad. I am planning to bring out 12 books soon after this first book by me as a published writer. Ten out of these books are my personal diaries from 1995 to 2004. A writer grows in course of time based on the circumstances and influences around him and a professional writer enriches his skills to work for others and earn money depending on the hottest trends of the day. I am a writer, not a professional writer. I am informing you today that by 2012 you would know me as an internationally famous and challenging writer awakening the buggers, idiots, rogues and other kinds of unproductive human stuff in this nation and world on what they are doing today and what they need to do to make this world a better place for all to live and die”.

A person of such standards and values, namely Datla Chiranjeevi Raju, naturally avoids facing a set of machines who claim to know how to interview a writer and assess his skills, in a series of meaningless, mechanical and abstract interviews. This is what I did this afternoon.

Don’t think a fool and scoundrel is writing this. Read my blog site at http://virahini.blogspot.com/

If you think that only an idiot writes such things, you are welcome to remain at the same growth you are maintaining today. There are many other right people in this world to pity you just like me.

Also note that it was with the Google that I fought once. I wrote a ten-page letter to the Chief Justice of India informing him why the Google is one of the worst employers in this nation subjecting many Indian citizens to a number of rounds of interview to work in its bloody office. Remember that I write blogs on the Blogger only, a service being offered by the Google only. My struggle is with the state of standards and values in the particular department of a company only and not with all of its services. I am one of the educated, enlightened and refined citizens of India and I know when to call a man a rogue and a set of standards a paradigm of sins and crimes.

If you have any objections against me after reading what I wrote above, I have the following options to you:

1. File a lawsuit against me at any competent court of law in India or abroad. I prefer the High Court of Andhra Pradesh or the Supreme Court of India because the issues I need to address demand this wider platform so that my message can reach every quarter in this nation and every candidate searching for a job with a bit of self-respect and worth dreaming to live decently working with good companies. Half of the companies in India are being run by idiots, rogues and such lunatics who earn money indecently and consider their employees machines and beggars without any self-respect or personal life. They would shoot the heads of companies like yours publicly because you have introduced such filthy and immoral trends of selection and promotion processes in this nation. If you want 10 proofs showing you are such nasty employers in this nation, I would present you 100 proofs. I hope this is a sensible deal for you also.

2. Recruit any famous writer from any quarter of the world and then invite me to write on any topic I like and any topic he likes. It could be Salman Rushdie, Vikram Seth or Arundhati Roy. I will write continuously for 12 hours proving why India is a nation of idiots, loafers and thieves and he/she can write whatever he/she likes. Show it to another humanitarian and capable judge in the similar field in this nation or world and then ask him whether my writing skills are superior to his or her or not. Half of the idiots that conduct interviews for writer positions in this nation are lunatics at many levels and they pose as if they knew a lot about writing. I came across two lunatics of this sort at the Deloitte also recently. This is the reason why really worthy candidates are not being selected in this nation today. Your company got such two idiots and they can come to know more about me about creative writing or other kings of writing they claim or dream to be good at. A writer is not a machine to produce the best at the crazy demand of a lunatic on a topic he devises at his fancy. A writer needs a little time, encouraging and familiarized environment to some extent and a level of elevation to produce the best. This is never possible in a company when an unfamiliar rogue dictates to write on something posing himself as a world-famous writer. A lunatic should not dictate a dreamer or creative person on what to write and how fast. A machine is the right tool to do such things. Why do you disfigure India with such companies and such recruiting staff?

Don’t write about avoidable things to me. If you think that you are one of the billionaires of the world or influential in certain other matters, as many rich fools and thieves think in this nation, I am not the right person to admire you or bear with your nuisance. I don’t think you are greater than Ramalinga Raju of the collapsed Satyam. You are acting as kings hiding your sins and crimes with the support of unscrupulous and money-minded auditors. Once your real history as a company is checked, you would walk on the streets like beggars. Even beggars have some real lovers for them outside but not you. Others love you for the money you have, the jobs you are giving exploiting your clients in every way you know and doing such indecent things publicly or privately. Since the rulers that are supposed to check your crimes are criminals at their level, India today became a nation of public thieves, dacoits and sinners. Give me the name of any professional in your company that you think can write like me and then I will decide a date and place where I sit with him and write to show him what creative writing is. I need challengers that really belong to any part of your company in India or abroad. A fool never accepts his guilt unless thrashed publicly among many. I want to do this with any contestant in your company also and this is my open challenge to you.

If I can prove my abilities as a writer in such an openly held competition, I expect your company to close down immediately because you have been committing many crimes and sins in this nation for years subjecting worthy candidates like me to humiliation at many levels. You have no moral authority to do such heinous crimes in this nation as a mediocre company. If you like to know the characteristics of a mediocre company, I would enlighten you more on this subject at another occasion as desired by you or scheduled by me.

This letter is meant for and must be read by one of the decision-makers in your company.

I am here to answer any of your questions or doubts. I am not insensitive Indian to come to an office like yours any more. I daily check my email. I would promptly respond to you if you have objections to any of the comments or remarks made above.

Thank you.

Dear Sunita (of ecom),

Earlier I got about four emails from different people for this position with this company. I request you to get clarity on the following things before sending an email like this to a candidate like me:

1. I did not do some things which you specified in the job description with any of the three companies I worked with earlier because their nature of work and demands from a content writer were different from Pegasys. So, if you expect someone who did all those things which you specified, there would be one only "who worked earlier with Pegasys". Unfortunately I did not work with this client of yours.

2. I would have certain paradigm of expectations from every employer I wish to join. No company would meet all those expectations. So, I would compromise to some extent and join some company because the state of job seeker always demands it.

I request you HR criminals in this nation to look out into the world and know how to deal with employees and employers so that you need not waste our time.

Tell your prestigious client that I did not work with any famous company earlier and also that I heard this company's name also very recently. A mediocre company that does not know how to interview a right kind of content writer should not write nonsense in job description and you should not send that stuff to me because I can't educate every executive of job consultancies like you.

A writer needs the following:

1. A bit of command of English language (nobody is a master of this language).

2. Ability to understand the needs of his employer, time to time.

3. Ability to deliver things as early as possible educating his supervisors and subordinates in the process, if necessary.

4. Being honest, committed and ready to learn new things and apply them in his job.

The mean things you specify in your job description reflect your poor understanding about a candidate suitable for a given position. When mechanical and automated HR and consultancy executives sit in comfortable chairs in their offices, they slowly turn dumb and deaf and ignore observing the external world. You too need to come out of it.

So far I attended about 10 interviews and none of them knew how to assess the skills of a really worthy writer. I am a writer by which I mean I write for others also out of inspiration and creativity and not just for my employer as a jobholder. Still I was not selected by any of these ten employers so far. Does it mean that these companies got extraordinary writers and critics who knew how to assess the skills of a writer? No. Actually these companies got some sick rogues who do interviews mechanically. I came across two such scoundrels at the Deloitte in Hyderabad also. Currently A P J Abdul Kalam is not the president of India but doing his work as an honorable and patriotic Indian in other areas he likes. Does it mean that we should not respect him now because he is not holding any great position in this nation now? Similarly, Datla Chiranjeevi Raju is a writer and he has been writing regularly despite not working with any company for some days or months. It means Chiranjeevi did not cease to be a writer or editor outside the domain of a company with commercial orientation but the respective companies and consultancies that are considering his job status before conducting interview to him have failed to understand his stand and abilities as a writer or editor. Because many companies did not recruit Chiranjeevi for long, other companies and consultancies started misunderstanding the writer instead of understanding the poor standards and values of the respective companies that interviewed him so far.

I hate many rounds of selection process for any position with a company. One round is enough. If one is getting ready to face many rounds of interview, it means he has no standards or values of his own and the only goal to him in his life is to join an employer that pays him more than his previous company and it also means that he may leave this company at any time in future. This is the reason for high attrition rates in the current job market in India or abroad. Companies trained candidates to be absolute opportunists because they also think and act likewise only toward their clients. Such employees naturally teach more similar lessons to such employers after working with them for a while. We are encouraging indecent and unreliable frogs in our companies, businesses and politics today. The result is instability and unreliability in many fronts at many levels. We can avoid this state of affairs when we practice honesty and ethics in what we do to our employees. Ethics and standards ultimately run a system for long, not money or fame. When employers and employees understand and practice them, we can see a better India and world soon. Let’s try honestly toward reaching this goal.

I would write a book some time in 2013 on the sick and poor standards and values of many consultancies in India and the filthy job market in this polluted and disfigured nation. Here, one should know how to act and cheat others. For example, one needs to face about 20 to 30 rounds of interview to get recruited to some of its departments at Google. Please check if anybody with these characteristics attends such a long process of interview:

1. Self-respect

2. One that does not like to act to satisfy his interviewers in different rounds like a chameleon.

3. One being ready to be eliminated at any round and losing other opportunities in the process.

Unfortunately the Google introduced these nasty trends of recruitment in India. The fact is half of the heavy income Google gets is through its ads and 90% of them are immoral and do not yield sustainable results to their advertisers. It is doing business based on fame, not values. Advertising today is a network of cheaters and hypocrites.

Don't act like machines. Don't waste my time sending filthy job descriptions prepared by machines. I don't become self-tuned immediately to exactly suit their needs. They must know how to use me once I join them assessing my primary skills. Secondary skills are those which we can enhance after joining a company based on its needs. Primary skills for a writer are creativity, command of language, editing and fast learning. I have them.

Observe the society and use your common sense now and then at least. Tell your fucking employers like Pegasys that there is no a reliable description to the term "famous company". Satyam Computers was a famous company till recently and once that scoundrel and thief Ramalinga Raju was arrested, having misused millions of rupees of public money like an unscrupulous criminal, like many other hidden criminals in the employment market in India and other countries today, who run their companies based on false statistics prepared by nasty auditors of big four, promises, lack of morals and standards at highest level, turned an infamous company and all of its famous employees must be considered useless idiots or indecent rogues as per the intelligence and vision of the so-called fuckers like Pegasys. I am a million times superior to the idiots that started this mediocre company Pegasys and such other similar companies because I have to teach them lessons instead of they teaching me how to be a good employee.

If you want to know what I write and how I write, read my blog site at http://virahini.blogspot.com/ .

Otherwise you may think that a fool wrote all this to educate you. I was born to educate millions of fools and criminals in this world. I am publishing my first book of short stories soon to introduce myself as a published writer to this world. It is to entertain others. Educating rogues starts soon after that.

You would understand me more as my books come out one after the other. Till then, there is no harm in checking for a while what nonsense you are sending to a writer candidate like me. Machines think and work in our desired manner always if we automate them using our brains. Employees think and work as sensitive and sensible creatures. If other humans make them machines, the loss is to the respective criminals and sinners only. Unfortunately, half of the famous and mediocre companies and job consultancies in this nation are such criminals and sinners only. It is time for you to assess where you are and where you need to go to be a considerable Indian among a limited few today. There is time. Better late than never!

Thanks for the patience.

Sincerely,
Datla Chiranjeevi Raju.

This little letter was prepared and sent to this girl of India to educate her a little about indecent India and the rogues starting and running companies in this polluted and disfigured nation. Educating and enlightening others is not a crime or sin in any democratic nation. I authorize the recipient of this letter or others to forward this letter to any relevant groups or personalities so that fools and rogues in this nation can be understood better and allotted a broken seat in one neglected corner of a room.

It is unfortunate that 80% of the wrong people have started companies in this nation so far. They don’t know much about the employees, how they struggle to bring profits and success to their companies, working day and night like machines, at times. They earn money squeezing the blood and peace of millions of helpless employees in this nation. Night shift employees understand this phenomenon better. India turned a beggar country today depending on the US and such other developed nations. If there is cyclone in the US today, we have to be alert here in India today because our beggars are working there not liking to remain in fucked-up India where cheats and rogues and criminals are ruling us and making us beggars more. Awake and think and act for a better India.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sent the first letter to the HR executive at the Bodhtree yesterday evening and the second letter to an executive called Sunitha in Bangalore when she sent me an email with a job description for the position of content writer with Pegasys in Hyderabad. When unethical dogs bark in the open places madly and disturb the peace of intellectuals, it is time for the right people to do the right things. When criminals, rogues and scoundrels in this nation start and run companies, the right people get harassed by the wrong people.

If I remained silent with many of such these employers for long, it was not because I did not know how to educate them but because I thought it to be minimum courtesy to bear with their nuisance for a while. I had to at last educate these two entities in India. I did it. Learn how to be a good employee. Otherwise bad and cruel employers in this nation would harass you and kill you one day subjecting you to humiliation, stress, strain, pain and then suicide. Awake and learn how to be a great Indian at your level also. Teach lessons to the fucking employers when they hurt you like criminals.

I hope these two letters give you an insight into how a sensitive and sensible Indian employee can't live happily in this nation fucked and demoralized by nasty employers of all levels, filthy politicians and mad businessmen that play with the lives of millions of helpless Indians, unless they educate them in time and show them the dustbins, the places where their brains need to be placed, if they act wrong roles at the right people, misunderstanding or underestimating the latter.
