Recently a symposium of girls and women was conducted at Losava Naipi. Feminist and social activist Marcila Hoyasina, a millionaire funded it. They invited a few men also to this occasion to know about their views on contemporary girls and women as part of an interactive session every day after formal group discussions. Delina Evin interacted with me to publish this interview in her magazine Oyaho on the occasion of International Women’s Day.  The following are excerpts from it. The remaining content can be accessed through your subconscious mind.

Evin: Do you think International Women’s Day has any impact on contemporary women?

Chiran: Many days which we are celebrating now across the world to remember some achievers and rededicate ourselves to some standards and values of the past certainly influence the participants and target audience to some extent. Awareness on and information about contemporary issues and concerns alert and awake us time to time. But, I believe, only 5% of the girls and women know about this day and participate in it actively. These 5% of enthusiasts cannot bring a positive change in the lives of other girls and women just through these celebrations every year. One’s happiness and comfort do not depend on a group of people, a region or society but changes taking place across the world. So, if a girl or woman has to understand what is happening around and how she should educate herself to benefit from the changing environment around, she must have passion to grow physically and psychologically at her level. It happens when they wish to come out of ignorance and gloom voluntarily, improving their knowledge and skills. Others can just be facilitators. Most of the girls and women in this world are not focused on improving their knowledge and skills now but attractive appearance only to impress others in this fashion.

Evin: Why are atrocities increasing regularly against females in every part of the world?

Chiran: Might is right. It means one with strength and superior intelligence can defeat and exploit one with weakness and ignorance, innocence and helplessness. This seems to be the law of nature. A lion hunts and kills smaller animals in forests. Big fish attack smaller fish for their survival. Financially strong ones suppress and torture weaker ones. Similarly, physically stronger and libidinous boys and men keep hunting for girls or women to exploit. Evil attraction between creatures of opposite gender is another considerable phenomenon in this domain. Every boy and man wishes to spend with beautiful girls and women after crossing 10 years of age because his basic instincts influence him to that degree of intensity. There are 10% extraordinary, 10% ordinary and 10% considerable beauties only in this world. Rich and influential ones are attracting and possessing them through marriage or otherwise. So, many ordinary boys and men don’t try for them hard but for the remaining 70% negligible lot in terms of beauty and other material attractions. Even they don’t yield to the wild desires of boys and men. As there is no possibility to spend with any unfamiliar girl or woman in this world in normal conditions, many are resorting to extreme measures like abduction, harassment, rape and murder. As long as girls and women appear as vulnerable and helpless creatures to boys and men, we cannot stop these atrocities. Survival of the fittest is the rule here. There is no security and safety for girls and women in this nation because many are thinking and behaving like brutes with females in many contexts of their personal and professional lives. Governments are not punishing wrongdoers within days because most of the politicians and bureaucrats are like pimps. When girls and women hunt for bad boys and egoistic men, drag them into bushes or other haunted places, rape them and kill them brutally, perhaps boys and men develop fear about females and then remain within their limitations. Police, lawyers, judges and regulatory bodies cannot do anything to provide safety and security for females in this spoiled nation. Only girls and women should train themselves to be physically and mentally strong and withstand the evil forces about them. Self-awareness, self-reliance and self-defence are the important weapons for girls and women in all the nations. They should beat an idiot on the road and shoot a criminal on the spot for their survival.

Evin: As an admirer of beauty, what do you find very attractive in a girl or woman?

Chiran: Every healthy boy or man likes each part of the body of a female as long as he has attraction for that race. I am also one of such folks. However, the most attractive part in the body of a woman is her face for anybody. We find the physical structure of many females attractive when observed from her back or from considerable distance but what shows one very differently and positively from the rest is her face. The colour of the skin, the sizes of the eyes, the softness of the cheeks, the beauty of the nose, the hairstyle, the voice and looks entice a male towards a female. Many girls and women are beautifying themselves through personal or professional make-up now to attract others but they can attract us for some time only. We cannot hide reality for long. Boys and men develop aversion towards a girl or woman after seeing their actual faces somewhere. So, beauty is not something which you can get based on your choice but by the grace of God. We inherit the physical features of our parents and close relatives. If we are unfortunate ones, we inherit the ugly facets of them only. We often observe such people. Father and mother would be very attractive but their daughter does not resemble them. She gets the ugliness only from her ancestors. The qualities, standards and values of a female also attract us towards them. What a boy or a man likes in a girl or woman may vary from case to case because we cannot assess the true natures of all human beings with one yardstick. Those that have very beautiful faces and bodies can attract all within seconds. Girls and women crave recognition and appreciation from others regularly like boys and men. They must decrease their passion for gold, ornaments, clothes, gadgets and increase their worth as individuals. Then only they get due respect from their familiar societies and other entities. This expected change is happening very slowly in girls and women now! They should reform themselves first.

Evin: Can feminists bring a positive change in girls and women in any society or nation?

Chiran: Any feminist cannot change the stupid, eccentric and irrational boys and girls in this world on her own or collectively. She cannot enter the houses of families in a village, town or city and teach lessons to women there to change them. In many cases, girls and women are villains to another set of girls and women. Who, when, where and why one becomes a villain towards girls and women is not something we can predict beforehand. So, one woman, one society or an organization cannot help girls and women but each girl and woman on her own. She should be soft with those who are soft, intelligent and ideal and cruel towards anybody who is cruel. She need not take every boy and man as a rogue but she must be prepared to teach a lesson to any rogue at any time in any place when he misbehaves considerably. Girls and women at ground level cannot be happy and secure until things change completely at that level. It happens only when cultural changes occur predominantly. Severe and immediate punishments also keep bad boys and men in control to some extent but the problem here is who are supposed to save and guide girls and women are turning into villains in many places regularly. Police, defence personnel, teachers, lawyers, close relatives, friends, well-wishers and politicians are also villains to girls and women in many cases. Parents are also behaving like villains towards their daughters in some cases. It means a threat can emerge from anybody for a girl or woman in many parts of this world. She is living among many varieties of villains regularly. She cannot and must not depend on external help but self-defence. What feminists have been writing and doing for long can be considered a trend or movement. Evil is like an ocean. Those struggling to face that evil are like a boat. A boat cannot defeat an ocean because evil is stronger than it in every age. Feminism can reach and influence very few girls and women only in democratic nations.

Evin: Can ban of pornographic sites across the world help stop atrocities against women to some extent?

Chiran: Watching pornographic sites is like adding fuel to fire. When we are living in a war zone, we too feel like shooting somebody. When others are boozing, we too feel tempted to do so. Pornographic sites provoke the brute in a man or woman. He wishes to seek such wild or devilish pleasure in association with somebody. He may become a brute in course of time. Now cellphones penetrated into the lives of children also. They are watching them widely in Internet cafes and on cellphones. The basic instincts in them are getting awakened and stimulated due to these practices. They are developing bad impressions about all girls and women. They are using vulgar language addressing females in their private and public lives. They are resorting to crimes and sins ultimately. There is another kind of threat due to pornography. An incident would be considered an act of sexual assault only when the other rejects it physically or orally. What if a girl and a boy regularly watch such sites and indulge in those intimate acts out of mutual interest and consent. Premarital sex is increasing tremendously nowadays due to this easy access of pornographic content to all. It is a social evil. In a civilized society, we should not fulfil all our desires in a manner we like personally but in a way which has been ideated, accepted and standardized by thinkers and idealists. Premarital and extramarital sex lead to failure of married lives directly or indirectly. It should happen between married partners only to keep the society safe, secure and disciplined. If it happens among multiple agents, being fuelled by wild and fantastic desires of participants involved, they take it as an ordinary act. They pull innocent and ignorant creatures also into that mess slowly. Prevalent availability of pornographic content causes these problems to a great extent. If we can ban it, utilizing our technological devices, it is good for all. One that had an immoral relationship with a creature of opposite gender does not propagate it on his own as society does not appreciate it but a boy sends a pornographic image or video to many of his friends for fun. He does not know what kind of bad impact it would have on society. It’s not just pornographic content but mobile devices and technologies are turning people into criminals and sinners day by day because evil is being spread across places within seconds. I think 95% of customers buying high end cellphones and similar gadgets are using them for quite avoidable works and acts only but not to improve their knowledge and skills and serve society ideally. Internet leads us into an ocean of knowledge, information and visuals, which can be positive or negative. So, controlling pornographic content from appearing online is not an easy job. When millions of enthusiasts are watching them daily and when many are satisfying their instincts showing their bare bodies and acts publicly for pleasure, it is very difficult to block these paths of nude images and shows. There are artists focused on nude paintings. There are feature films and documentaries portraying sexually explicit content for educational purposes. Above all, it is difficult to differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable content in this regard. Looking at a bare body of a girl in a lab, a medical student may be sexually aroused and assault a girl that night. One with lots of experience in that field might find it just like an object suited for experiment. There are nude works of sculpture on some Indian temples also. One may take them as visuals meant for education in that direction. Another may become a pervert. There are naturist clubs and beaches in some nations. They think that being natural is good in all respects. What if others watch their naked show? They feel tempted to possess them being triggered by their basic instincts. Nude dances are being presented in some entertainment houses. Many are walking or running nudely in public places to protest or promote a cause. Some are posing nudely for art. Public expression of love like kissing and hugging is common in some regions and nations. Can we ban all these acts of public expression and life?

Evin: What kind of negative image have girls and women earned in the present societies? 

Chiran:  They are inculcating bad habits like smoking and drinking to compete with boys and men. They are taking it as fashion. They are torturing their husbands, in-laws and siblings in some cases. They marry an affluent guy, live with him for some days and then complain to police that he is impotent or violent. They apply for divorce. They ask for alimony. If he is very rich, they get that much alimony or monthly contribution from him depending on which they can live happily rest of their lives, doing whatever they like. Many boys are scared of marrying highly educated and egoistic girls of this order now. Laws and acts are in their favour. They are squeezing their siblings for equal or excessive share of assets from their ancestral property. Every girl and woman should avoid such life of a parasite. It brings a bad image to the lives of women across places. I should say many girls and women are unable to properly utilize the long-awaited freedom they got from conservative societies. They are misusing it doing many things which bad boys and men generally do. There is always difference between a man and a woman. A man can drink a lot and fall beside a road. Nobody attacks him. He wakes up after some hours and goes back to home. What if a girl drinks that badly and falls unconsciously somewhere? There is no safety or security to conscious women in this nation. How would it be to unconscious females that fall in the eyes of men? Many women are not taking care of their formative children now as they did some years ago. For them, career, celebrations and limitless freedom to do whatever they like is more important than devoting their time to carefully bring up their children with personal attachment and supervision. Their desires and fantasies are increasing day by day. They are comparing their financial status and material assets with those in the same class or lifestyle. They are forcing their honest husbands into becoming dishonest ones to earn easy money somehow. They are encouraging their daughters to get into fashionable prostitution to earn a lot fast from the affluent in our societies. They are getting snobbish. They are moving away from their tradition and culture to embrace fashions and styles of contemporary times. They are not interested in advice from anybody. They are hurried to do whatever they like without thinking about consequences. They are maintaining different lovers at a time to show others that they are highly desired by all.

Evin: Do you support girls and women being too exhibitionist through revealing clothes and gadgets?

Chiran: I don’t find fault with their revealing clothes and use of modern gadgets. A priest exhibits his talent chanting mantras and giving lectures on religious matters. A scientist earns reputation inventing or discovering highly useful technologies, gadgets or processes. A politician becomes popular telling unbelievable lies to his innocent voters. Similarly, many girls and women intend to promote themselves through their attractive clothes and ornaments. Man craves the touch of a female. The attractiveness of a lady largely depends on her skin colour also. Those with fair and very fair skin colors are in high demand in all ages. Wearing a sari or other clothes completely over the body, a female cannot show the beauty of her body to others considerably. Their primary and usable asset is their physical beauty. They exhibit parts of their bodies wearing very short or highly revealing clothes. It is their effort to get recognition and appreciation from the contemporary folks. Many boys and men are getting a chance to see their arresting beauty publicly due to their generosity in this regard. There are such scenes in many feature films also. Skintight clothes show their beauty well. They often wear matching clothes, ornaments, nail polish, hair dye, hairdo and footwear to impress others that way. Struggle for existence and recognition are common traits of humanity for ages. We should not block their freedom. We should not expect them to follow our commands. It is good if we see and enjoy it. We should not treat them as bad girls or women just because they look attractive, modern and fashionable. We should not make rude comments at them or look at them like dogs. Accept their freedom and celebration of life ideally. We should seek pleasure and satisfaction from their joy and success. They are also beautiful and attractive creatures of creative and intelligent God. We should treat them with respect and affection always wherever and whenever they appear to us.

Evin: Do you think women’s empowerment is going on well due to support of governments now?

Chiran: They are being allowed to vote now in all kinds of applicable elections. They are being educated now. A percentage of seats are reserved for them during elections to represent their race at the legislatures of states and center. They have reservations to get government jobs. Some seats are allotted for them only in many buses. They are working as MLAs, MPs and ministers now at state and central level. They are doing many kinds of jobs easily and earning a lot of money. They are taking up such professions which women disliked or avoided a few decades ago. Now women are almost everywhere showing their talent or beauty. These are all considerable signs of their empowerment. They should study hard, foray into different professional fields, participate in competitions, appear in various art forms and do such meaningful and substantial things to get recognition and appreciation from others. They should utilize their freedom to achieve such things which bring success or joy into the lives of others. Men have been exhausted playing all kinds of roles for ages. They would be happy if women take up many of their duties now. However, governments are not in favour of promoting women in politics. They get ready to create reservations for them in all other fields but not in their domain as much as required because they are essentially selfish, narrow-minded and egoistic creatures. Women must teach them unforgettable lessons at home and outside through non-violence, patience and vision. There is no unity and solidarity among women to required degree. No wonders occurred in the past without revolution on part of victims.

Evin: Is not idolization keeping women at lower rungs of improvement and development?

Chiran: It is true. Men wrote verses, stories, anecdotes and scriptures eulogizing women. Mother is equal to Goddess. An Indian woman is known for compromise, sacrifice and pain. She burns like a candle to give light to her children and husband. She has patience equal to earth. These are all some sayings developed praising the worth of women as a race for long. Thus women started attributing those virtues to them and lived like bonded labourers. They need not sacrifice and compromise for bringing happiness and comfort into the lives of loafers, idiots, rogues and scoundrels. Instead, they should beat them publicly and send out of home. They should expose the true nature and attitude of many bad boys and men using technology and intelligence. They must mind their health, safety, security and privacy, not thinking that their parents, brothers, husbands and other males take care of them always. They should not trust another man or woman observing their character at surface level. Others mostly cheat a girl or woman when she trusts them blindly. She should develop logical, ethical and analytical thinking while doing anything in place of innocence, ignorance and conservative attitude. She should not struggle and suffer for wrong ones. She must improve herself as an intelligent, creative, brave and visionary creature, who can face any situation courageously and strategically. She need not take all boys and men as avoidable ones. Many that follow feminism blindly hate anything attached with males. No girl or woman should develop such impression about anything or anybody in this world. God never creates His creatures in that fashion. He seeks joy watching the melodrama in the lives of creatures on this earth planet. So, He creates heroes and villains strategically in every age to make the universal drama highly engaging. No girl or woman can be happy, completely avoiding boys and men. Man and woman are inseparable entities in this universe. God configured their bodies and minds in that order to make this planet beautiful and exciting. It is enough if all girls and women understand how to love a good boy or man and how to treat and punish a bad boy or man. Education, observation, experience, analysis, common sense and vision enable them to differentiate between good and bad. They should act with discretion. They should embrace anything that is ideal.

Evin: What are the problems being faced by girls and women in conservative societies?

Chiran: Conservative families and societies impose rules on others, not giving them an option to accept or reject them. Most of our social norms were decided decades ago by thinkers and idealists in a way that suited those times and conditions. We should not expect the present generation to follow each of them because circumstances have changed a lot over time. Once women were not allowed to go out and mingle with others freely but now they are getting educated and doing jobs and businesses to live independently. Once they could not ride bikes or drive cars. Now they are doing it happily. One such social practice, which many communities are following in India even now, is holding a function to celebrate the occasion of a girl reaching puberty. It happens naturally when girls are between 10 and 14 years of age. Once they held it to let others notice that a girl in their family was ready to get married as child marriages were prevalent those days. Now girls are getting married between the ages of 17 and 28 mostly though child marriages and late marriages are also there to some extent. In this scenario, why should we highlight the puberty of a girl, holding functions? No girl enjoys this celebration. It is insulting and disturbing her, doing such functions. It is enough if we teach her what kind of changes take place in her body and mind after this stage of her physical growth. Almost no mother is doing this important duty now in India but she and her worthless husband invite many blokes to give a party to celebrate it. This is the major issue with majority of Indian women. They neglect their primary responsibilities and focus much on unwanted things like buying gold for their daughters and checking their horoscopes. They are finalizing marriages without asking for the opinions of their daughters. Most of the traditional marriages in India are being decided and finalized by their parents or elders hurriedly, considering the job or property status of the boy concerned. She may like to marry a handsome guy but she cannot do it. After marriage, whenever she comes across a beautiful couple, she feels envious of them. It is important to give multiple choices to girls when they are entering very crucial stages of their lives like education, job and marriage. No father or mother should show discrimination between a girl and a boy in treating them because both are valuable creatures of God sent into this world with a purpose. We have no moral authority to impose our interests and fantasies on our children. We are just facilitators. We should show them different destinations in life. They choose whatever they like based on their abilities and priorities. Thinking that our children are innocent and ignorant and so they cannot take important decisions for their lives is wrong. If you kept them so, it is your crime as their stupid and outdated parent. Encourage them to read books, explore the psychologies of different people in their familiar and unfamiliar societies, watch films, go to fairs and travel as much as they can afford. They should understand the world in which they have to live. Parents do not live as long as their children live. So, parents should guide their children to become aware of the things around them doing everything possible. They should bring up their children towards becoming intelligent, rational, morally strong, economically independent and disciplined ones. Otherwise they become parasites on their husbands or others. Most of the girls and women in this world are facing many problems now because they were brought up wrongly by their stupid, ignorant and shallow parents once. They are not allowing them to be independent thinkers and guides of their lives. Problems are common in all lives. They must be prepared and trained to understand what problems may befall them in course of time and how they should tackle them. Girls and women should not be projected and promoted as objects of beauty and decoration alone meant for attracting boys and men but those who can live with courage and intelligence. If parents and elders block the development of their girls in the name of tradition, how can they take decisions independently when they come across emergencies, accidents and crucial issues? I don’t like women hiding their faces and bodies under veils. We are all proud and energetic creatures of God. Why should we hide our physical beauty and qualities being scared of other idiots around us? Show your body to all. If somebody comments or does a mischievous act to insult you somewhere, beat him on the spot and teach him a lesson individually or collectively. Girls and women should improve themselves in this direction. Girls and women should appear like villains to bad boys and men only in any place.

Evin: How can girls and women improve their overall image as a race in this world?

Chiran: They must do anything keeping up their self-respect and dignity as individuals. Beauty contests are earning very bad image to girls and women in this world. It is purely madness on their part. Why should they wear bikinis, walk like cats and answer stupid questions of those jury members to get fame in dirty societies? If you are good, many boys and men love you wherever you are based on your thoughts and acts. If you are craving certification by an outsider in a public place like a shameless idiot, you are no more a sensible and sensitive woman but a professionally trained and tuned commercial entity. Others treat you like a professional prostitute only because this is how you are behaving among many for commercial purposes. Intentionally you are exposing your body as a commodity. Consumers wish to buy attractive products showcased publicly by their owners. They are wearing nasty clothes and walking like shameless dolls on ramps in many places. Such ultramodern and shallow culture must be avoided. How many beauty queens have transformed this world through their unbelievable social service, which they profess during those question rounds in these contests? As a man, I feel shy to expose my body in public places. This is the case with 90% of ordinary boys and men in this world. If this is the culture of males, then what kind of culture should be followed by girls and women? A lady that struggles to earn reputation through exposing her bare body as frequently as possible earns the image of a prostitute only and not a respectable individual. What is seen widely by all has no much value. What is hidden much and shown occasionally has value to some extent. This principle is applicable to the bodies of males and females alike. Girls and women should not exploit boys and men investing their beauty or other attractions. In many love jokes and films, we see a boy or man buying and offering many gifts to a girl or woman to woo her. Girls and women should not be portrayed in such derogatory manner in any art form. They should not be pleased by gifts offered by their lovers or other males but their holistic character. Girls and women earn the image of a prostitute as long as they think and act like commercial entities, who struggle to benefit from available opportunities. Why should girls and women yield to the demands of producers, directors and other experienced professionals in film industry and do whatever they ask behind and on the screen? If easy money and shadowy fame are your only options, then such folks only admire and follow you. You are always remaining in the circles of superficial celebrities and base millionaires. You are not accessible to intellectuals, visionaries and achievers of this world. You are not being exposed to stark realities of our societies. Being confined to one kind of lifestyle and environment only throughout life makes and keeps a woman as a foolish idiot. They should break these walls of restraints. They must try to spend with such boys and men, who have superior character and admirable achievements on their part. Then they feel the beauty and worth of their lives. Inspiring people influence and change our lives slowly.

Evin: How can girls and women befriend good boys and men to be happy in association with them?

Chiran: If somebody is struggling extensively to impress a girl or woman within a short period of time, perhaps his ulterior motive is to benefit from you. He runs after you like a mad dog does after a bitch in a mating season. Good boys and men don’t run after you. They mind their important duties in life and profession. They greet you formally and treat you normally. Your beauty and qualities may impress them deeply but they don’t respond or react to you overly. They wish to respect your individuality and sense of freedom. They think that you may feel offended if they appreciate you excessively in wrong contexts or occasions. They remain passive and reserved mostly. It is your responsibility to explore them further. If you love their company, you should strive for it decently. If you do it too much, they avoid you as they don’t like to spoil their good image due to your abnormal behaviour or excessive expression of love or respect. You don’t listen about them or see them in media or otherwise because good folks mostly remain detached from clumsy and whimsical world of attractions and promotions. Just like a good boy has to thoroughly search for a good girl, a good girl or woman should also do so to find an excellent boy or man somewhere. Many girls and women think that they can easily attract any boy or man showing their beauty or other attractions. If that is the case, all intelligent and good girls and women must be able to love or marry extraordinary boys and men only in this world. In reality, many idiots and rogues only marry beauties because they don’t struggle to find and marry right ones applying their intelligence. They give that chance to their selfish and narrow-minded parents, who value money and fame of a boy but not his character. Many girls and women are not happy with their husbands in this world now because they are marrying rich ones but not good ones. Money and luxuries cannot give us happiness after a stage but pure love of those with whom we are associated. Pure love is an asset of those with ultimate characters. Every girl and woman should realize that they should love and spend with good boys and men to explore the beauty of this world. They should not take all males as idiots just because some rapes are taking place regularly in many regions. Since a female is in a more vulnerable state of existence if a relationship or affair fails, she must be more careful and visionary when moving closely with any boy or man. She should decently request them to be in their limits when they are crossing them. She should shun such friends, relatives, well-wishers and others who are trying to exploit her directly or indirectly. She must be alert time to time. She must earn respect and affection from all investing her goodness and humility.

Evin: What kind of a role does sex play in keeping a man and woman together in the long run?

Chiran: It plays nominal role after the first year of their marriage. Passion for genitals of the same creature of opposite gender does not last long in a man or woman. It is true in the case of married couples of all kinds and in all regions in this world. From the second or third year of married life, it would be a mechanical, artificial and boring process of physical intimacy. This is why most of men and women are craving extramarital relationships now. Novelty is the choice of life as far as physical love is concerned. Friendship gets stronger in course of time but sex turns weaker after a period of time between partners. It can be made interesting and exciting if they do it differently through innovative but practically possible ways only but in the present times many life partners are not getting time to do it mechanically also. It is good for body and mind even if we do it mechanically. What can keep our bond of love or marriage is our virtues ultimately. What are your thoughts and acts and how are you contributing to the happiness of others directly or indirectly. This is the yardstick based on which others find us interesting. If you love others and serve them, many love you and wish to spend with you because you are representing a virtue. If you commit a crime, after being an extraordinary person for some years, they stop admiring you suddenly and police may arrest you immediately. Evil thoughts and deeds have such adverse and instant effect on our sensitive lives and professions. People don’t analyse things logically and patiently before forming an opinion about us but take random decisions and change opinions within seconds. In this critical environment of social trends, girls and women must be more careful when talking and behaving with others publicly or privately. They must control their emotions and passions when dealing with others. They must not take things for granted at home or outside. They must develop a broad outlook.

Evin: How far can laws and acts bring happiness in the lives of girls and women in any nation?

Chiran: I believe 10%. In Saudi Arabia, there are stringent laws against perpetrators of crimes but have they declined as much as expected? A boy may call a girl a bitch casually. A colleague may hug a lady in an office. A student may propose to an innocent girl repeatedly and threaten her if she refuses his desire. Most of the petty issues and abuses being meted out against girls and women by erroneous folks in this world cannot be proved in courts of law. In countries like India, females are scared of police and lawyers more than criminals. Many don’t complain about wrong acts or wrongdoers, visualizing the lengthy process involved in it or worthlessness of such efforts. Those making laws have also no genuine interest in the issues being faced by girls and women. When millions of cases are pending at various courts in a nation, a set of victims expecting justice in time is also absurd and meaningless. Law and order is not favourable to ordinary people in India. Only very rich and influential ones can get their cases cleared early through short cuts. Constitution, judiciary and voluntary organizations can help them to a very little extent only. So, from any perspective, the best solution to problems of women in nations like India is self-awareness, knowledge, information, self-defence and preparedness to face any issue single-handedly.   

Evin: Is not privacy important in the lives of girls and women? How can they maintain it?

Chiran: The interests and priorities of females change from person to person regarding secrecy and privacy. In the film Robot of Rajnikanth, a girl that was rescued from a fire mishap by the robot jumps off and commits suicide because she was brought down nakedly and she could not bear it. All girls and women have the same organs and functions. What does a girl or woman lose if one or many watch her nakedly somewhere? This is scientific and modern thinking. All girls and women cannot be that liberal in treating their bodies and affairs. They cannot bear if their realities, issues or bodies are exposed to third party. What we think ignorable or quite common may be a risky or sensitive issue for them from their social, religious, psychological and regional perspective. Secret cameras are being fixed in walls, doors, windows, toilets and other portions of houses and offices nowadays by miscreants to capture those private moments in the lives of girls and women. They are distributing them to other enthusiasts through technological devices in seconds. Once it is into wide public access, it is impossible to control it. So, girls and women should decide at their level to what extent they want privacy in their private and public lives and if adequate arrangements are made to that extent internally and externally. Despite their best efforts, their affairs or bodies may be exposed to third party. In such cases, they should console themselves in this manner, “Let them see. I cannot stop it. They talk about it for some time and forget it. They are seeing what many have but not that which I only have. Why should I bother about it unnecessarily? I will avoid such occurrences in future as much as I can do. If anybody asks me about it, I would bluntly say that it is not my content”. We should bear with that which we cannot avoid. Every girl and woman must come out of their comfort zones of hypersensitivity. Atrocities never stop against females in any part of the world because they are like magnets. They attract boys and men knowingly or unknowingly. They should enjoy the company of desirable folks and keep away from dangerous and avoidable blokes. Accepting and being prepared for what is inevitable is better than assuming that what we don’t like personally does not happen at all. Women must develop courage, strategies and creativity to withstand attacks by bad boys and men.

Evin: Is blocking the entry of females to some places fair in the name of religion and customs?

Chiran: We should have rational thinking and practically possible approach while trying to understand and resolve many issues that befall us time to time. Ask them peacefully what problems arise if females enter their temple. If their answers are justifiable to you from many logical perspectives, just stop entering it. Remember that God is omnipotent and omnipresent. We need not go to a temple or hill to be blessed by Him. He can hear our voices of pain and suffering from any part of the earth planet because this is a speck in His infinite universe. Why should girls and women bother if some prevent their entry to a place?

Evin: Why are females being projected as wrongdoers in cases of love and childbearing mostly?

Chiran: Male chauvinistic attitudes, customs and practices are prevalent in all parts of the world even now. If a secret love affair is exposed to public or if a girl becomes pregnant out of a love relationship with somebody, the resultant criticism and blame would be targeted at female partner only. She has to look after that child after birth if that deceptive lover absconds or dies. The ultimate burden would be on a female only if the story takes a negative turn. So, girls and women should be cautious in these affairs. Then, many orthodox people believe that a female could not get pregnant as there is some problem in her body and not in that of her husband. They cannot digest and accept the bitter fact that her son has the actual problem. A mother is also a female but she is not empathetic towards her helpless and vulnerable daughter-in-law during critical situations of this order. If all females in this world are united and start teaching lessons to bad boys and men, all their issues get revolved forever. Since man cannot live without the company of a woman, considering her bewitching powers in attracting them in all ages, it is women that need to be alert, intelligent and visionary in controlling males and utilizing them constructively.

Evin: A woman serves man in multiple roles throughout her life but still why this injustice?

Chiran: When girls and women stop serving their parents, siblings, husbands and others excessively, each of their problems gets resolved automatically. Serve him when he is sick, very busy or helpless occasionally but not regularly. If you serve him like a servant from morning to night, he thinks that he is great but you are not great. Drop him from that cradle. Ask him to cook food, wash your clothes and do such services to you and your children now and then. We can take it as a role play. He should play your role once or twice a month at least. Then only he can understand the greatness of your role. Cooking food, getting children ready for school or an occasion, nursing old people at home when they are bedridden, washing dishes and clothes might look quite simple and easy when observed as a detached outsider but they are difficult assignments when experienced as an empathetic insider. Above all, they are mundane chores, which do not bring any credit or reputation to a devoted female home-maker. No salary, bonus or increments to her for all these humane services she is offering generously. Many do not treat her as a human being also despite her endless services to families. This is inhuman on part of all men. Women should become intelligent and strategic to change conservative, stupid and eccentric men in their families. They should mind their health, peace of mind and considerable status in society for whatever they did so far. A life without recognition and appreciation from anybody really looks quite boring and unbearable. Every sensitive boy and man should do everything possible to keep all good girls and ideal women comfortable, happy and peaceful, knowing and doing what is virtuous in a context or situation. Then only, admirers of beauty like me can find this world more enticing and inspiring. A boy or man that does not know how to treat a girl or a woman is an unwanted burden on this earth planet. God punishes all such insensitive and indecent males severely early or late. Girls and women should console and guide themselves when there is no help from outsiders somewhere. Pain never stays with them permanently.
