ARUNDHATHI

Presentation

It is one of the few Telugu films that made me blissful throughout, while watching. Its story is binding, truly. Its narration is fantastic. Its music is divine. Its songs are inspiring. Its dialogues are delightfully comprehensible. Its main lead is gorgeous and challenging, in appearance and performance. Its visual effects are marvelous. Its success rate at theaters is historical. It is one of the great wonders I ever witnessed with my eyes and ears. It is a wholesome entertainment to my heart. It thrilled my soul. It is basically a story of two human souls and their mutual struggle to retaliate against each other for the convincible reasons.

Disorderly Sketch of Story

Arundhathi’s marriage is due to take place in a short time. Their elders are making arrangements. It is a blissful occasion in their family. Slowly Arundhathi comes to know that something wrong is going on somewhere. One of her relatives disappears. Another relative becomes mad. The center of the tragedy is located at an imaginary abode in a familiar palace (Gadwal, a small town in Andhra Pradesh) to her, a region associated with a royal family decades ago during the British rule in India. Arundhathi learns the tragic history of Jejamma, her great grandmother 80 years ago. Jejamma died on her own to retaliate against her maternal uncle, who spoilt the life of her sister and many other women in that town, whom she buried alive for some reasons. He turns out a horrific ghost and waits to exploit Jejamma, whenever she takes another birth with that soul. Arundhathi is the reincarnation of Jejamma in the same royal family now. One of the Agoras, those that live depending on human dead bodies and such other activities centered on black magic, when considered from the scientific perspective, prepared a weapon with the bone of Jejamma, after her death and cremation, years ago. Only the soul of Jejamma can kill the horrific ghost of her maternal uncle, which is existent in the form of a soul with terrific powers of black magic, even to this date. Arundhathi slowly realizes that she was Jejamma years ago in that royal family. With the help of an Islamic black magician, she understands the power of the ghost that came out and eventually kills it in the final battle. The dilapidated royal palace collapses with the death of the ghost of her maternal uncle, who waited for 80 years to retaliate against Arundhathi, a beauty, once whom he liked and wanted to exploit. Many mysterious and terrific events take place in the process of Arundhathi realizing her past and retaliating against her maternal uncle. She gets ready to marry her scheduled fiancĂ© in this birth after defeating the ghost of her maternal uncle. This is the story of the film in brevity. You would have more clarity when you see it in theater.

Crew of Excellence

Producer-Shyam Prasad Reddy

He is the son of Mallemala (M S Reddy), a noted film producer and lyricist of the recent past. He is known for producing satisfactory films going for any number of days of shooting and investment in the process. He wants quality in the film. Earlier he spent four years to finalize the famous Telugu film “Anji” of Chiranjeevi. If this film turned this much successful, God must be thanked. Syam Prasad Reddy deserves such right kind of profits for the commitment and involvement he invested for the films he produced so far. If a producer of taste has more money, more classics emerge in film industry. I am happy that viewers gave a little of their money to this great producer in the Telugu film industry. This time he spent two years’ time to finalize this film. May God bless him for his patience and taste to produce a good film always, not minding whether it turns successful or not at box office. How many can think and invest money in films like him today?

Director- Kodi Rama Krishna

He has been a noted Telugu film director for years. He challenged the Telugu audience again with this miraculous piece of Telugu film industry. If one has to understand the worth of this gentleman, one must see films he directed so far. To understand an artist, one must personally taste related art pieces. No much use in appreciating or criticizing one without checking one’s tangible proofs.

Visual Effects and Creative Director- Rahul Nambiar

If this film turned a big hit at theaters, part of the credit goes to this young man from Kerala. I don’t know much about his past track record as a wonder in visual effects but heard that he is a gem in his field. If you want to appreciate this gentleman, you must see this film first. Graphical effects arrest your attention throughout the film. Nambiar turned a hero in the circle of film technicians with the huge success of this film and his great contribution for it. I must say he is one of the gems just launching himself into the dreamy island of Indian cinema.

Music-Koti

Koti is a prominent music director in the Telugu film industry. Earlier he worked as part of duo Raj-Koti. Now he is doing films alone. I give 90 marks for music in this film. It makes you mad in the positive sense. It grips your heart and soul as long as you are seeing the film in theater. We can’t imagine this classic piece without its music. It is the soul of this film. Koti rocked the Telugu audience with his sensational music in this film at a time when many are starting forgetting his name in comparison to other leading young musicians like Devisri Prasad.

Story

This story was prepared and polished by Mallemala Unit, an outfit partly or fully associated with the family or friends or well-wishers of the producer Syam Prasad Reddy.

Anushka Shetty

She is the one and only rocking beauty on silver screen in the Telugu film industry today. Her beauty mesmerizes any sensible living male creature in seconds. What happens if such a challenging beauty performs commendably for a masterpiece? The result is madness. Yes. One goes mad with love and appreciation for this exceptional beauty after watching her bewitching beauty and extraordinary performance in this film. I am giving 98 marks for her beauty and performance in this film. Half of the vitality of this film is undoubtedly this charming and challenging damsel only. She made me sit like a four-year old innocent kid in the theater anxiously waiting to see what happens to her next in the film. She captured my attention and admiration for her throughout the film. See the film to estimate the luck she got to act in such a masterpiece of films.

Other Characters

Though everybody acted considerably well in this film, you don’t remember them much after coming out from the theater. The story, the screenplay (narration of the story in a sequential order as desired by the director and the creative team of the film), the music, the songs, the heroine and the villain are the soul of this film. Rest is complementary meant to run the film ahead.

Special Note

People that never like to see a movie in theater, for various reasons, which looks acceptable from their standpoints, started coming to theaters after the success talk of this film. It created waves in the Telugu film industry. I witnessed the power of those winds and waves like others. It is really a classic piece in the recent times. Then, as to the rationality or scientifically acceptable qualities of this film, I am least bothered. If science can answer 50 percent of our rational and right questions; spiritualism, black magic, the concept of life after death, karma, soul and such other related things revolving around the theme of “mysterious human imaginations” can answer 200 percent of our questions arising from other quarters, which science can’t address even a bit. So, I never expect a film or any other art piece to be scientifically acceptable to educate or entertain people. Why should we go to see a film or read a book if our only goal in life is to reach God and attain salvation? Reading only Bhagavad Gita is enough for that for us Hindus and other scriptures for other people of faiths. We do other things also a little to taste different facets of entertainment, which God made possible through the thoughts and imaginations of man, His beloved son.

Conclusion

I often feel like collecting a few pieces of music and keep them with me to get inspired listening to them when I am writing a masterpiece in some genre of literature. I have a rough estimate of about 2000 songs in different Telugu films that elevate me to my desired state of mood and expression while I am listening to them. This film also got such songs and music in it. I would add these songs also in my collection in future whenever I think myself “Fellow! You are attempting to create a masterpiece. Keep that music on and shut the doors and windows all around”. My hearty congratulations to Koti for producing such gripping music for this film. I often think, can writers or other kinds of artists ever excel in their chosen fields if they are not blest by one component “extraordinary music as they feel and want it as per their needs and tastes at different times of their outpouring or creative excellence?” I am one of the deepest lovers of great music, whoever creates it and wherever it originates.

If you did not see this film in a classic theater, even for once, you are 100% unfortunate. If you saw this film only once in a great theater, you are 20% lucky. If you saw this film 10 times in a theater, you are 50% lucky.

If you reached your heartfelt greetings to the technical and creative team of this wonderful film, in some way you are familiar with or can afford, you are 100% lucky because artists and technicians need great amount of encouragement and inspiration from their stakeholders, you and I, that see films to entertain or educate ourselves to some extent. My way of reaching my compliments to this great team is writing and posting this blog here just after an hour after seeing the film because this film commanded me to write a little about it immediately. My conscience ordered me, “Idiot! Do it now! I hate procrastination. That film maddened you with its classic appeal. Don’t you do your part to reach your message of happiness to all?”

I saw this Telugu film from 2:15 PM to 4:30 PM in theater Sudarshan 35 MM at RTC Cross Roads in Hyderabad, buying the 50-rupee ticket like a king without standing in the queue. I felt after buying the ticket, “I achieved it”. After seeing the film, I felt “I could get an entertainment worth 1000 rupees, spending 50 rupees only. It seems it is a little bearable living in India if there are such films in India”.

I request my blog readers on this occasion, “Please do not see films buying piracy pieces or downloading them immorally from your computer systems, when sent by your indecent and unethical friends in ways you know well”. Artists and technicians also live spending money. They want money to live and produce great pieces of art for us in future also. The only way for us to encourage them directly is to go to theaters and see a film when it is released instead of asking our indecent friends to send that pirated piece. Let’s not make India a nation of beggars and cheaters who enjoy things or persons in the well-known indecent ways. India means piracy and hypocrisy. Do we like this stamp from outsiders?

I like to see this film again. I enjoyed it. You too would enjoy it. Always try to see something in its original form. It may be produced in other languages also soon but you need to see the Telugu film to appreciate our folks a little. I mean Telugu speaking chaps. I love my mother tongue and people speaking it a little more than others no?

TRANSLATION OF MY LOVE POETRY

Refer to my earlier blog posted here titled "Valentine's Day". Below is the English version of the poetry I earlier presented here in Telugu. The ones in blue are in Telugu and the following are in English, for your reference. None of the pieces I sent to Eenadu got any prize. I have no reason to blame Anantha Sriram. I can understand the dilemma of a judge in such a context. Everybody can't be a winner. It also means that those that could not win a prize are not winners. In most of the cases, the judge is to be pitied because a true person should never judge others' creativity in a comparative stand.

Manassu Geeche Vichithra Chithram Prema
Hrudhayam Likhinche Pavithra Pathram Prema
Kalalaku Kalhalhaku Jeevam Posedhi Prema
Amruthaanni Vishaanni Samangaa Chooshedhi Prema
Okari Kosam Manasaara Edvagaligithe Adhi Prema
Manishini Manishigaa Unchagalige Prapancha Prakhyaatha Mandhu Prema

Love is an odd picture drawn by one’s mind
Love is a sacred letter scripted by one’s heart
Love is the lifeblood of dreams and arts
Love considers both ambrosia and poison alike
It is love if one can cry deeply for another
Love is a world-famous medicine/liquor that can keep a man like a man forever...

Neevu Naa Theeyani Ice Cream
Nenu Ninu Veedani Bubble Gum
Manam Kalisi Puttani Pranaya Kavalalam
Kalisi Brathike Prema Pakshulam

You are my sweet Ice Cream
I am your inseparable bubble gum
We were love twins that did not born together
We are lovebirds that are going to live together
----------------------------------------------------

Naa Madhilo Cherina Nee Roopam
Naa Gundello Velige Kaartheeka Deepam
Neevu Naaku Cheruvaina Dhooramaina
Naa Aathmaku Praanham Pose Dhevatha

Your image which entered my mind is
Like the traditional Indian Kaarthika lamp that shines in my heart
Whether you are near or far from me
You are my Goddess vitalizing my soul

VALENTINE'S DAY

Valentine's Day is fast approaching. I knew about this special day about five years ago though my association with the concepts of love, its expression and the related experiences that form part of our sweet memories at a latter stage, is age-old.

I also observed some Hindu fundamentalists condemning this day tagging it as bad and westernized. I am not with their views or acts in this regard. If a day can unite people and help us promote love and prosperity across the regions and cultures, let's not oppose it. We must live together, love others, and die after living a happy life as far as we can manage it.

Love is an essential element in our body and mind. We must not bury it there. Let's express it to the deserving ones and feel that we belong to many. There are no restrictions upon us to love anybody. Liberty, equality and fraternity can be achieved when we love others fairly and decently and permit others also to reciprocate the same in a manner they like to do it.

I am not a great poet or writer. I put my absurd or abstract or dreamy ideas somewhere so that others can interpret them as per their knowledge, standpoint or imposed preferences. I have the habit of writing this and that in my mother tongue Telugu also, now and then. Being a regular and devoted reader of the famous Telugu daily Eenadu, I often check for any contests they conduct for their readers. It is happening this time also.

They publish a special feature titled "Eetharam" every Saturday, exclusively with content related to youth in India and how they are progressing in thier lives or in positively impacting others's live. Improvement at personal level or contributing for the development of our society or nation is what all an energetic and visionary youth can do for this nation.

Last year they invited love poetry in Telugu and offered some cash and consolation prizes celebrating the Valentine's Day as a newspaper at their end. I sent an entry by a post card but it was not selected nor even published in it. I did not mind it because it is the task of the appointed judge to finalize some as winners. That time it was Chandra Bose, a young and considerably famous Telugu cine song writer, that scrutinized the entries and decided the prize winners. I love him for his skills and experience in his field because I can't write even one influential or attractive cine song like him.

This time it is Ananta Sriram, a very young lyricist writing interesting, influential and attractive songs for Telugu films and other occasions, that is going to act as the judge for the selection of winners for this Valentine's Day entries at Eenadu's office at Somajiguda in Hyderabad or elsewhere in the twin cities. This fellow wears thick glasses and I presume it could be because he is affected by some level of sight problems due to excessive reading or hard work in some other front to enrich his skills. I read about him in this daily only once. He originated from simple and testing background of family and society. He eventually turned a self-starter and self-made man. I love his creative, polished, sensitive and soft words addressing participatns of the famous "Black" program on Eenadu television channel, along with two other invited guests.

This time the prizes from Eenadu newspaper are as follows:

First Winner: A cash prize of 2000 rupees.

Second Winner: A cash prize of 1500 rupees.

Third Winner: A cash prize of 1000 rupees.

Ten consolation prizes, the nature of which is yet not declared by them.

Ananta Sriram is youth. Mr. Chiranjeevi Raju is also youth (serving 33 any problem to consider me so or what!). The deal looked fascinating to me. A postcard costs 50 paise in India. There is a spark/speck of creativity in me that emerges once or twice a year. So, I moved ahead this morning seeing the related ad in Eenadu.

The last day for receipt of the entries at their end is 10 February 2009, Valentine's Day falling on 14 February 2009. Perhaps Ananta Sriram works hard for three days to finalize the winners, going through the heavy load of entries received on postcards.

This afternoon I posted three postcards: One written by me and on behalf of me, the second one written by me but sent on behalf of Srujana Devi and the third one partly written by me and sent on behalf of my great artist friend Veeranjaneyulu.

Veeru is so sensitive that he asked me not to add his name or address on the postcard. I wanted to kill him secretly but my common sense and conscience did not allow me to do it. This artist fellow, whom I know for the last eight years or so, loves beautiful girls and females a lot and paints everything adding exceptional beauty to it but he does not like his name also being added to some poetry pieces also which he strongly feels in his heart. He got two girls as inspiration for his paintings. One belongs to Visakhapatnam district and she was married some years ago. The other one belongs to Bihar, who studied at the University of Hyderabad at our time and thereafter moved to the US marrying a software engineer in their community. I don't reveal her name because Veeru kills me. He believes that admiration is so sensitive issue that one should not share the related person's name also before one's death. What a shame to India and its sensitive people and artists? I am quite different from him. I shout/bark like a dog if I like somebody and some did/may not like it. Not a problem.

What is meaning to human life if you don't love anybody and say something to her or him. Come on! We don't live for 200 years. We live short. We must make it beautiful and tasteful using the resources God provided us inside and outside us.

So, I would type out my piece of poetry on love, which I sent to them this afternoon as my entry, in Anglicized (I forgot the right word to use here)Telugu here under, first:

Manassu Geeche Vichithra Chithram Prema
Hrudhayam Likhinche Pavithra Pathram Prema
Kalalaku Kalhalhaku Jeevam Posedhi Prema
Amruthaanni Vishaanni Samangaa Chooshedhi Prema
Okari Kosam Manasaara Edvagaligithe Adhi Prema
Manishini Manishigaa Unchagalige Prapancha Prakhyaatha Mandhu Prema

On behalf of Srujana Devi:

Neevu Naa Theeyani Ice Cream
Nenu Ninu Veedani Bubble Gum
Manam Kalisi Puttani Pranaya Kavalalam
Kalisi Brathike Prema Pakshulam

On behalf of my artist friend Veeranjaneyulu:

Naa Madhilo Cherina Nee Roopam
Naa Gundello Velige Kaartheeka Deepam
Neevu Naaku Cheruvaina Dhooramaina
Naa Aathmaku Praanham Pose Dhevatha

The second piece representing Srujana Devi is entirely written by me but sent on her behalf with her notice and acceptance. I would let you know who this person is on 23 March 2009 posting a long blog on this blog site. Some might already know it.

The piece sent on behalf of Veeru is not entirely his own. He told me a small sentence being inspired by my information that I am sending two entries from my abode to meet the challenge posed by Silent Killer Ananta Sriram. I refined his words and put his heart in another format adding the second and the fourth lines from my heart. He liked it. I often feel like killing him because he is so sensitive that he often fears/hesitates/doubts even to gift a bunch of sweet bananas or grapes or apples to some beauty he likes, thinking that she might not know how to eat them. Ooph! He was living in 14th century! What a friend I got? How long and how far can I educate him when my own love stories and attempts turned bad many times. Oh God! Save me from this sensitive creature.

I shared these pieces of poetry in Telugu quite in advance with you to let you believe that I write some stuff in Telugu also now and then to awaken others and make them believe that I exist on this earth and feel something toward some people or things now and then at least. Do or die! Chiranjeevi does it!

I know that many of my blog readers are not familiar with reading, writing or understanding Telugu but I leave the suspense to you. You can consult some of your Telugu speaking friends or acquaintances and beg them to translate the feelings and notions and the spirit of this poetry for God's sake, if not for your sake!

In case, you turned helpless in the process, I would post the essence of each of the lines of three pieces of poetry, some time before or after this Valentine's Day.

While Ananta Sriram struggles with my pieces of poetry and other entries, you must do your part to understand these pieces and me in a way because I wrote them mostly.

I would inform you if this young and dynamic judge chooses me, or my two agents, as some kind of a winner. Work in progess. Take diversion. Sound Horn Please!

Get moderately mad or manageably sad or appreciably creative this time also to express your love to your beloved one/s in a manner that does not disturb or hurt other/s directly or indirectly. After all God gave us this precious life to feel it and share it with others on some occasions at least, if not on all days and nights. Make it happen and thrive! Yo yo!

My innocent and tricky and mischievous brother Chiranjeevi and ditto photo Nagarjuna often remark at me, "This creature does not write in Telugu or what? What a shame? He is living and breathing in Andhra Pradesh! Should we ask him to flee to some desolate island or what? Let's give him time!"

I got an occasion to pay these two creatures in the same coin. Shyguy came out with his set of little poetry.

Hurray!

I have won the match.

Thanks for your patience!

SHOCKING GIRLS

Do you want to shock girls?

Are you an average man?

These questions are posed to Indian men. I read these and related questions attached to an ad while checking my Yahoo Mail this afternoon. They want men to buy Vimax to increase their potency enhancing the size of their reproductive organ.

I found this ad, the related human figures and the challenging questions funny.

The world is down with economic recession. Big Boss Barack Obama is struggling hard to rescue the US citizens.

In India, the general election season is drawing close. Political parties are busy discussing strategies and alliance possibilities and difficulties.

Indian male software engineers are unable to find suitable brides to marry early. Job seekers are looking for jobs and the current holders are trying to retain their positions.

There is no scarcity of burning issues in India or abroad. We all know how to create them, suffer due to them and then try to resolve them. We are all challengers from this perspective of human struggle to continue living somehow. At this juncture of many issues, increasing the size of the male organ did not fit well for me.

According to the general knowledge I gained reading books, the satisfaction for a couple in intercourse does not depend on the depth or the lengths of the respective genitalia. Some of the following factors determine how close and happy a man and woman can be in their conjugal lives:

1. Mutual trust that the other is dedicated to him/her only in matters of bodily pleasures.

2. Sustainable financial positions for both the partners supported by others as well.

3. Being away from extra-marital relationships, each imposing rules upon oneself.

4. Finding time to communicate and share the feelings and emotions of each other.

5. Keeping fit physically and mentally taking every measure possible for the same.

6. Having rational, ideal and scientific thinking on what keeps both happy in bed.

7. Clearly knowing and practicing that intercourse has to be humanly, not brutal or sadistic.

8. Treating each other as a lovable and sensitive creature than an abnormal s.x maniac.

A boy and girl or a man and woman can be happy and comfortable as long as they find each other admirable for many reasons, making s.x just a little part of human life. Extremist thinking in any branch of human activity leads one to suffering and other related disorders. Doing something more is not necessary in all the cases because if you run endlessly, you would die somewhere. S.x also belongs to this list of topics related to human life, affecting it in a positive way. If you do it moderately, you remain a good human being. If you do it extremely with one partner or many partners, you would lose taste for it in course of time. Slow and steady wins the race.

There are a hundred ways for boys to please girls, not only s.x:

1. Love them honestly.

2. Appreciate them decently.

3. Be friendly with them ideally.

4. Serve them devotedly, not expecting anything back from them.

5. Write classic poetry admiring their features or qualities.

6. If you want to marry them, prove them why you deserve to marry them.

7. Give them enough time to think and get back to you.

8. If they never got back, may be there are some reasons for why they can't accept you.

9. Believe that they are more sensitive and vulnerable than we boys and men.

10. They are still struggling for space. Help them grow and love you proactively one day.

11. Their wearing revealing clothes is to allow you to see their beauty, not grabbing it.

12. Their silence or negligence toward you might be to hint you that they are helpless.

13. They can love all but can't express it to all because they are not public property.

14. They too have preferences and priorities in their lives. Consider them individuals.

15. They remain bitches forever if you call them so. Know why they became so.

16. Their very presence might keep you happy. Let them know it fairly.

Sensitive lovers can add their points to the above list. There are broadly three kinds of males in this world:

1. Those that project themselves as great boys and men because they had s.x with many girls and women.

2. Those that did not have s.x with many girls and women but tell others they did so much in that direction to prove their potential to the other side, wrongly or rightly.

3. Those that sleep with the right partner only for the right reasons for leading a right life always.

From the three kinds of individuals, those that belong to the third category help build a healthy family, society and nation. Admirable India at large.

Shocking girls in the wrong way leads to unrest and barbarism in a society. Attracting all in the right ways helps us build a healthy, peaceful and prosperous society.

If we are trying to build a happy and secure society, it is not for other girls and women but our mother, sisters, aunts, wives, and sweethearts. We can't live happily always sitting or sleeping in our home but by going outside and interacting with others. Often, we form part of others, for some others. When others think and behave badly, we suffer. Keeping others happy is in our hands. No tablets or tonics can help us that way but self-tuning ourselves to the extent that we never hurt others knowingly, directly or indirectly.

Vitality and beauty are in our body and mind, which God gave us.

They receive admiration when we use them for the right causes.

I don't know how far Vimax can do it?

Perhaps you can think on it!
